Hope you’ll eventually get to that Murmillo guide. I’ve started a Sw3/Rod3/Cor/Mur would be nice to have some insight on it. Overall, nice work as always Lostac.

it’s much much more expensive that fencer just looking at the non-1% damage per level attributes.

If you are going that path you’ll probably need a 5 hammer, rodelero was kinda annoying to level IMO, even more so without five hammer.

Currently on Class 10 rank 7 on my pelt3rod3 but it will take a while since I’m prioritizing my two doppels

I see. I started this character yesterday. I have the five hammer already with Lv5 gems in it. I guess I’ll just have to empty my pockets for those attributes then. I think when you go pretty much all tank for 7 ranks its pretty much hell to level it lol. It’s the reason I don’t make a lot of tank characters because it takes too much work.

How relevant is Pelt’s 18% evasion now that Rank 8 hit? Couldn’t care less about swash so rerolling for a Pelt 1 would be for Guardian alone. Also, with Epee available might be that Gung Ho COULD become a thing instead of those 18% evasion?

How “relevant” it is depends on your gear, but in most cases since almost everyone is using plate+full dex now, you will need it to reach evasion cap

Guardian’s defense boost is also a big thing now, you could weaken most post-R8 physical attacks down to 1 with it + enhanced plate sets with yellow gems, including those archers in tevhrin cave.

Gungho was always a thing as a mode 2 for me, concentrate became crap completely with R8 Damage spike

Guys, whoever has tried it before, how much more dmg does pommel beat do against stunned units, and double slash against bleeding? Thanks

double slash is about +200 flat damage more per hit(unless changed in some patches)

So its a static 200 rather than double dmg or 50% more kind of thing then? Thanks though, if anyone actually tried pommel beat then they may know how much more it actually does to stunned units? Probably still not worth it though

Thanks very much bro. Anyhow im still thinking whether i can skip that 18% evasion and dodge enough. I was thinking about getting barb for that slash debuff, it helps with dealing with cloth which is fencer’s weakness right? I have a dragoon2 and all i have against cloth is cyclone and dragonsoar.

relatively skeptical of rerolling a 230 fencer in order to get guardian honestly. it also seems to me that the mid paths mean less and less the further we go into the c3 tree. perhaps a pelt 1 >sw 3 for restrain and PB >corsair >fenc c3 would be something to consider now? that would offer both the option to gung oh or guardian on demand at the cost of practically all the mid tier damage from barb/high…

It’s the reason why I listed SW3>Pelt>X>Fencer3 as #1 atm

most people are happy with the end result except those that cannot bear the pain of leveling Sw3 and feels weak (tbh, the payoff is very good and AAing isn’t bad early anyway)
Soon PB will have +5 seconds more for SW3 as an attribute

depends on R8/R9 skills. If we dont get new “strong” slash attacks on those classes, I won’t take barb

but yes, cleave+lunge+flanconnade is very strong

How bout sw3 pelt then barb instead of corsair? And replace dust devil with double slash? Iv nvr used a corsair so i dont know if dust devil is strong since it uses 2 weapons.
Will be missing the flag but the nullify chance seems low? And requires other corsairs around or its just badly worded.

you need 5 members for the chance to be high, should be around 12% with 5 members.

yeah SW3>Pelt>Barb will be the meta as discussed before as long as we get new slash attacks, there’s just a big risk that we won’t be getting any as well.

you can ignore double slash, you will use flanconande later on. Dust Devil is good as a CC that can’t be resisted but lasts short so you have to time your 3 charges well

lvl alts are a breeze now…with five hammer with just 5 star reds…it makes you a god now…pretty sure can just use five hammer till the 200 lol… or 170 and change weapon x…x

Hmmm, since u said concentrate is worthless late game, i was thinking DS is quite good cos i saw someone use it and the dmg is decent. I actually saw many people dont take flanconnadr, maybe because they have insufficient points in the fencer tree

It’s faster and stronger than flanconnade, but not really spammable, for flanconnade you only need 1 point on it and it’s your slash attack forever once thrown in about 50 in attributes

If anything, SW3 lacks skill points

I dont take bash though, knockdown and all is good, nvr really used that skill.
Anyhow, thanks for the advice. You have a build made by yourself for me to refer to the fencer skill allocations?? U seem to say at the first post that its outdated or something. Also, full leather?

Full dex+plate is the way to go now, so that you won’t have to add any con anymore+high def

Thanks bro, just so sad that this game forces us to ask every detail because the tooltips and sample videos are so bad and certain skills have no youtube videos.
