it was never meta in iTOS, just some ppl saw that koreans were going ranger2 and copied them, result=useless rank4 since steady aim was already nerfed here, i used to lol quite a bit every time i saw an archer2>ranger2 in game (still do)

i’d still go scout instead of ranger2 since cloaking is useful even if you need to dismount (not like you wlll fight while cloaked)
Cloaking does nothing for your DPS. Ranger 2 does. 
It’s a tradeoff pure and simple.

ranger 2 gives a marginal increase in dps compared to ranger 1, and marginal increase isn’t worth over amazing utility (cloaking is the best utility of the archer tree and all the other classes are jelly because of this)

I guess different strokes for different folks. I think r2/r3 will begin to be looked at with higher class rank base damage, while twin arrow (not worth it imo) will not continue to scale well, as early class skills typically begin to fade.

archer 3 gone none existent. MultiShot and twin arrow is practically useless as compare to others later. Unless you have no choice but to use them on your rotation.
A example SR3. Due to high CD you can literally spam finish your whole rotation as a SR and you will be left with multishot/twin shot assuming you take A3.
Certain classes have totally outcast Multishot or T1 skills.
Example > musketeer is a good call here that literally shifted to “GUN” type casting.
Why is R2 Good? 5% damage is actually still damage the best of all it lasts the whole duration. and is a T2 mod.
As for scout is just the utilities cloak and a level 5 flare shot.
5% of base 100k damage is still 5k damage. per hit.

just a heads up. Nexon starting to give importance of choosing 3 circles in a specific class.
just like other MMOs, when you pick a class at its maximum, you gain some bonus/extra benefit from it. in which ToS is in form of [Attributes].

Lol you belittle 5% damage of 100k which is literally per skill per hit 5k + as it goes higher and when damage cap passes going to 500k
5% literally means by 30-50k by then? I wonder how many people reroll their qs3/a3 back again to rangers variants.
