This guide is not as comprehensive as many of the resources produced by the community in the past but aims to be an overview and index for any content they may choose to engage with. I will do my best to keep this up to date and correct or clarify anything that is wrong. Some information will be archived when it is no longer relevant (See Episode 11 set effects or Hunting Grounds) and marked with a spoiler tag.

I’d also like to thank the following people for their guides or assistance in the process of making this:

  • Crevox, tosneet, tosguru, tosbase, Narcissus, Palemoon, MooMooZen, Corsetti, Edoweiss, Queue3, Resource, and Mirie. I’ve linked dozens of people’s work here so I will not name them all as there work speaks for itself!

Thank you to everyone who helped make Reverie my fondest gaming memories. This guide was started as a project to help all of the new friends we recruited and will continue to act as such. For a long time this was sheltered on our guild recruitment thread but I felt I could reach more people by moving it to the main forums. Despite this move I want to shoutout my guild and welcome all new saviors who may find a home with us. Reverie recruitment thread ← My guild recruitment threads have been falsely flagged since January. For anyone interested in joining Reverie, please PM Azusagi/Havocsong/Rui/Mirie/Nicole in-game on the Klaipeda server!

WinterLeaf New Savior Guide WinterLeaf

Token - The difference between TP Tokens and Event Tokens

Tokens are akin to a subscription. They offer a variety of bonuses for 30 days including increased exp rates and freedom from trade restrictions. Tokens further reduce market tax, increase the number of items you can list on the market, and a few other perks. One token will cover your entire team and all of its characters. Using multiple tokens will only stack the duration of the benefits.

I cannot stress enough how beneficial this item is. If you think/know Tree of Savior is for you, I highly encourage you to drop money on TP (cash shop currency) to buy a token or otherwise save your silver until you can afford to purchase one. It is priority one. For any questions about acquiring TP refer to the TP Shop page.

Trade Restrictions and You

New players will be unable to trade for 7 days after team creation and will have further restrictions until upping their Trade Grade. The quickest way to up this is by linking a phone to your steam account.
Event Tokens (3Days / 7Days etc) do not remove 1:1 trading restrictions.

Tokens (Real ones purchased with TP or from the market) remove 1:1 trading restrictions

Pay attention to the top of the trade window when trading, loaning, or gifting items. Items traded between players with no true token or where only one party has a valid token will result in character bound items. These cannot be traded between your team or to other players ever again.

Each item has this sort of graphic with it. This tells us about the Tradeability of the item. If the rectangle is highlighted, that form of trade is available; If it is grayed out, it can no longer be traded in that fashion.

In the above example we are looking at a sword that has lost all forms of trade. If you need a more in depth guide on trading the Tree of Savior team put together a wonderful page on this topic.

  • Join a guild
  • Clerics are full support or DPS. 5 party slots doesn’t allow for unfocused hybrids
  • Player made SP potions have a separate cooldown from store bought potions
  • Parties can be linked in chat using ‘Insert Party Invite Tag’ from the party menu (F6).
  • Parties can likewise be joined by clicking the party tag displayed in chat
  • Items can be linked with ctrl+mouse1
  • Location can be linked the same way while chat and map are open
  • You can view a player’s gear/classes with ‘/memberinfo PlayerName’ in normal chat
  • Checking Weekly Boss Records (F10) can give you names/builds to research
  • ‘!! Followed by your message’ will display a message above your head.

Class Selection/Synergy

Stalking people is encouraged. View character information of everyone you see who intrigues you. You can also view their gear and classes with “/memberinfo PlayerName”. A surprising amount can be learned about classes doing this; what stats do they like, which skills do they use, which weapons work for those classes?

When picking classes it is important to select classes that can utilize the same weapons, play off each other, or have skills that amplify the effects of each other.

  • Trinket acts as a sub-weapon for 2h weapons
  • Sword + Dagger or Rod + Dagger can offer 1h classes attack at the cost of a shield

The handtos Skill Simulator allows you to play around with builds and skill point allocation. We can narrow down what classes to consider by understanding some basic differences in physical vs magical users.

For my money the big decision when creating a physical attacker is knowing what weapon you want to use as it makes your options clear. The swordsman section will largely apply for Archer/Scout. Please continue reading if you have an interest in one of those base classes.

Swordsman tend to separate themselves based on their weapon selection or attack style (as do other physical attackers). Take a skill from any class (the Rodelero class for our example) and see what we can take from it and use moving forward.

Take a look at the fancy icons on a few skills and break them down.

This particular skill

  • deals physical/strike damage
  • animation speed scales with attack speed
  • requires a shield
    • can be used while mounted
    • can be performed with a sword/spear/rapier

If we take a class with skills looking like this, we can narrow down our next choices. We’ve selected to be a shield user. While their may be classes we can take that don’t deal strike damage, we know for sure that we can reliably select other classes in the same vein based on our weapon and damage type.

Looking through the other classes in the Swordsman branch we can see:
Shield/Strike Classes: Peltasta, Murmillo, Nak Muay

Archer follows a very similar formula to swordsman. Sometimes you can pick a class and see an immediate path. If you know you want to be a Musketeer(or want to use a Musket), you can eliminate Quarrel Shooter, Cannoneer, Mergen, Fletcher, Arbalester, Matross, and Ranger bringing you down to 6 out of 14 classes to look at. Archer’s are specialists with a variety of weapon types that leave many of them taking support classes like Falconer and Pied Piper.

Scouts mostly use daggers/pistols. Much like the swordsman (spear user) example above, you can narrow down your choices by finding the classes that use the weapon you prefer.

Due to gearing difficulties and auto matching content restrictions it may be advisable to consider builds that don’t use 2 different weapons (i.e. Dagger and Pistol).

Wizard is home to some of the greatest support in the game with classes like Alchemist, and Sage, as well as unique summoning classes and the expected lot of elemental types.

Magic users do not break down nicely by weapon choice, instead putting a higher emphasis on functionality/synergy. The right question for starting a wizard is understanding what play style you enjoy. These are hardly your only options but could give you a good starting place.

Elemental Wizards

  • Fire
    • Pyromancer/Elementalist/Taoist
  • Ice
    • Cryomancer/Elementalist/Taoist
  • Lightning
    • Elementalist/Taoist
  • Earth
    • Terramancer/Rune Caster/Onmyoji
  • Psychokinesis
    • Psychokino/Rune Caster/Onmyoji
  • Dark
    • Bokor/Shadowmancer/Warlock/Featherfoot

Non Property

  • Sage/Rune Caster/Onmyoji

  • Sorcerer/Necromancer

Clerics in Tree of savior stand apart from their contemporaries in that they are not relegated to a support role. While Clerics certainly offer unbelievable utility in healing, resurrection, and barrier, they can also compete with the best DPS from other classes.

More so than Wizard before it, Cleric demands you to have a play style in mind before selecting classes. Locking yourself into full support is certainly an option but not necessary to find parties or retain relevancy. Clerics are unique in that they offer physical/magical DPS along side their more traditional support classes (and with class changing you can level your support cleric as a DPS and change it to a healer later).

Physical Clerics

  • Inquisitor/Zealot/Paladin/Monk/Chaplain/Druid

Magical Clerics

  • Plague Doctor/Miko/Exorcist/Sadhu/Crusader/Druid/Krivis

Support Clerics

  • Dievdirbys/Priest/Oracle/Kabbalist/Pardoner/Oracle/Krivis

Attributes and Arts

Attributes improve damage of skills or otherwise change the way they function. You can spend or extract attribute points in the skill menu (F3). When spending attribute points it might be wise to focus on a few of your highest DPS skills and balance them until their Enhance Attributes are level 70 or so rather than focusing all points in a single skill. I’d also highly encourage you to spend points on attributes that change how skills works before attributes that increase damage.

Common Attributes These are team shared and expensive relative to the bonuses they offer. It is advised that you maximize most of your character’s attributes before investing any points in this section.

Dragon Soar: Ascension is a prime example of an attribute that changes skill function, doubling the number of hits of the Dragon Soar skill from 5 to 10 effectively doubling its damage!

attributes mystictome
Attribute points can be collected by:

  • Attending two guild raids
  • Completing quests (F5 Episode list)
  • Seasonal Events
  • Leticia Cubes

Arts are more elaborate attributes and must be learned using Mystic Tomes. Mystic Tomes can be crafted by right clicking Mystic Tome Pages (Requires 2 pages and 5 Blessed Gems). Your class master has an option to Craft Mystic Tomes whereby you may select the class in which the art exist. You then consume the art’s tome and learn it (provided you have the attribute points necessary. This ranges from about 3k - 36k attribute points.

Enhancement Arts can be leveled to 30 while each classes unique art that changes fundamental parts of a skill’s use max at level 1. The skill changing arts can be toggled on/off similar to their attribute counterparts.

Leveling Up

Player Shops

Several player shops are available to facilitate a smoother leveling experience. None of these are necessary but the more readily available ones seem silly to go without.

Pardoner Shop
Offers a number of buffs to boost damage and defence

Offers a great attack/defence bonus to your weapon/trinket/shield for one hour

Allows you to repair equipment beyond its normal durability
Both maintenance and repair shops can have the ‘mastery’ arts offering a substantial dps/critical bonus, or physical/magical damage reduction that you should take whenever possible. This is applied automatically when repairing or maintenancing your weapon at these shops and which if any mastery art will displayed at the bottom of the window.

Base Camp + Table are set up by Squires and shared between party members but can also be left open for all of your guild members to enjoy! The AoE Attack Ratio buffing food is enough to justify it in your leveling but the increase HP/SP and Regen should not be overlooked.
basecamp refresh

Exp Tomes

While not a necessity, Exp Tomes can greatly influence leveling speed when grinding mobs. These items are available in the TP Shop but can also be obtain from different events.

Exp tomes last for 60 minutes of in-game time, only effect the character they are used on. Thankfully this timer does not decrease in town maps. With this knowledge we can abuse Dungeons and Challenge Mode (see 3rd Post) to maximize the potential exp of a single tome. The addition of dungeon resets and multiplier tokens can help you power through some hard exp curves.

Players are also encouraged to complete 3 dungeon runs daily. Daily dungeons can be accessed from the Sentinel Rian NPC in the North Easter corner of Klaipeda. Fedimian and Orsha each have their own equivalent dungeon entry NPC. Dungeon queue times for anything below the 400 dungeon can be lengthy and might be best done with your guild or shouted for.

With the use of Dungeon Multiplier Tokens and Dungeon Resets it is possible to receive upwards of 30 dungeons worth of exp in one hour (a single exp Tome).

Revelation Quests

Revelation Quests are the main story lines for each area of Tree of Savior and offer the best leveling option and a great source of silver (5x for first completion per team. This applies to all quests). Following these will take you through a number of maps and award substantially more experience and silver than ever before. With the introduction of Episode 12 there are also a crazy amount of attribute rewards to be claimed (F5 - note: this is once per team). You will need all revelations complete to unlock your legend card slot anyway so it is recommended to complete all of these while leveling. While these quests end just shy of 390 there are quest lines for Episode 11, 12, and 13 that are not ‘revelations’ but are worth your time!

PaleMoon’s guide is a fantastic resource you can rely on for best results.

Gearing Guide

The follow information pertains only to Legend rank gear and below. Goddess equipment introduced in 13-2 has it’s own system covered in the 5th post.

Item Rank
In order to contribute in parties and level at a practical rate, it its imperative that you keep your gear up to date! But… what should you look for in equipment?

Here we can see a comparison between different grades of equipment. The first three chest pieces are the Basticle Plate Armor (level 350). A set of armor that drops as unidentified gear and is given random stats upon identification. The last piece is a Velcoffer Plate (level 360); a crafted reward from the Legendary Velcoffer Raid. While these armor pieces are only separated by 10 levels we can see a substantial increase in defense as the item rank increases. This applies to the attack of weapons in the same way.

Fixed + Random Equipment

“Lines” are another factor to consider when choosing a weapon. Lines are what we call the stats on any piece of gear. Crafted items have predetermined lines while identified gear is randomly assigned lines.

So here we can see a Fixed stat stafff (left) and an unidentified/random stat staff (right). We can determined which is which by the presentation of the lines on each. Crafted items have their lines listed with hyphens while identified gear has colored lines.

Identified Lines (As it applies to Legend rank gear and below)

  • 1-Handed weapons, shields, and armor generate 1-4 random lines
  • 2-Handed weapons generate 3-6 random lines
  • Trinkets generate 1-2 lines
  • The max roll (value of each line) is limited by level, rank, and equipment type

Please note that some stats have hard caps. For example, no amount of evasion will give you a 100% chance to dodge.

Green Lines

  • Str/Int boost Attack and Magic Attack respectively*
  • Spr boosts SP Recovery, Summon Damage, Healing, Max SP, and Magical Critical Attack
  • Dex increases Attack Speed and Physical Critical Attack

Purple Lines

  • Critical Rate is rolled against enemy critical resistance and calculate a chance to land a critical attack for increased damage
  • Accuracy improves your chance to land a hit and is calculated against enemy evasion
  • Block improves block chance provided you have a shield equipped (reduce damage by 50%)
  • Evasion rolls against enemy accuracy to dodge an attack (reduce damage by 100%)
  • Block Penetration calculates against enemy block to deal full damage
  • HP/SP and their recoveries do what you expect

Red Lines

  • Attack against [Race]-type Targets increases damage against respective type
  • Attack against [Size]-sized Targets increases damage against respective size
  • Add. Damage Adds flat damage to each attack. This attack ignores defense but is offset by Damage Resistance stat (not 1:1)

Blue Lines

  • Critical Resistance Rolls against enemy critical rate to mitigate frequency of critical hits taken
  • Attack against [Armor] Armored Target Offsetting reduces damage received with that armor type equipped
  • Attack against Medium-type Target Offsetting reduces damage received
  • Add. Damage Resistance mitigates Add. Damage stat

Special Lines

  • Movement Speed

    • Increases movement speed
  • AoE Attack Ratio

    • Allows attacks to hit more targets
    • Calculated against AoE Defense of enemy within the attack hitbox
    • Prioritizes enemy with highest AoE Defense first
  • AoE Defense Ratio

    • Reduces number of targets that can be hit within enemy hitbox
    • Enemy attack will prioritize highest AoE Defense first

Gear Score

Each piece of equipment is given a numerical value based on a formula that weighs all characteristics of the item. Gear Score is used as a measurement of character’s strength and acts as a gear check prior to entering content. Your gear score is reflected in your status window (F1) as an average of all of your equipped items. The following effect gear score:

  • Transcendence/Enhance
  • Item Rank/Level
  • Fixed/Random Ichor
  • Set Effect
  • Enchant
  • Stage (Seal/Ark)
  • Gem Level (Color/Aether)

The formula is complicated and varies based on the type of equipment with a variety of factors which can penalize your gear score. For an overview of the formulas visit the patch note where it was introduced.

Gear Progression

With the advent of Goddess equipment in Episode 13-2, the need to gear before 460 has diminished significantly. Players are encouraged to use the gear given by Wings of Vaivora NPC and Episode clears while you level until you are prepared to craft Lv 460 Goddess gear (covered in 5th post).

Kedoran Equipment
As you reach certain level thresholds, the Wings of Vaivora NPC in each town will have a selection of equipment boxes for you. Within these boxes are Kedoran equipment. These can be claimed for each character you create and the equipment is team storagable. Kedoran gear can be but should not be enhanced. While these equips can carry you for most of the early game you should complete Episode quests alongside them as they will be the next step in gear progression.

  • Lv 40-315 (Kedoran)

    • Available equipment for levels 40, 75, 120, 170, 220, 270, and 315
    • Equipment has a few stats on it which vary by weapon selection
  • Lv 350-380 (Kedoran)

    • Available equipment for levels 350 and 380
    • Equipment has no inherent stats but is TRA 8

Episode 11 Equipment
By clearing Episode 11 you will be able to access a once per team reward of legend equipment. This gear needs to be identified before equipping. Use this gear to plow through Episode 12 for the last step of early game gear.

  • Lv 400 (Savinose)

    • Can be equipped with fixed ichors
      • Galimive equipment from the mercenary badge shop would be a fine option here
    • Random ichor can be changed with use of magnifiers/reidentification

Episode 12-1 Equipment
As with Episode 11 before it, 12-1 clear reward is a set of initially inferior equipment that can be enhanced with scrolls from seasonal event shops (see Post 1 for on-going events)

  • Lv 440 (Savinose Dysnai)

    • Equipment starts at 8 ENH + 3 TRA and upgrades to 11 ENH + 8 TRA
    • Set effect and vaivora enchant scrolls available from seasonal event shops

This section focuses on Refinement as it applies to Legend rank gears and below.

Refining gear can be done by using anvils on your equipment to increase its attack/defense value at the cost of silver. This is a luck based system that will influence how well your equipment performs.

  • Each successful refine increases the equipment enhancement level by 1.
  • Refinement is safe to +5 and capped at +40
  • Each refinement level has a decreasing success rate until attempting +10 (+8 for armor as armor starts with 20% lower success rate) where the chance caps at 51.2%
  • Failures result in a decrease of 1 enhancement level and 1 potential
  • Items with 0 potential cannot be traded or listed on market
  • Failing a refine on equipment with 0 potential will destroy the equipment*
  • Attack/Defense bonuses are given for enhancement levels of 6, 11, 16, and 21
  • Weapons/Shields at +15 begin to shine and gain a gradually increasing red hue with each enhance

*Using golden and ruby anvils prevents destruction on failure while at 0 potential

  • Silver Anvil
    • Loses level and potential on failure but is free to use
  • Gold Anvil
    • Can only be used on 0 potential equipment
    • Failure results in a loss of enhancement level but does not destroy the equipment
    • Failures above +11 drop the equipment to 10 (14 fail → 10)
    • Equipment enhanced with golden anvils can fall below 10
  • Ruby Anvil
    • Can only be used on 0 potential equipment
    • Failures above 10 only result in a loss of 1 enhancement level to 15 (20 fail → 15). Equipment enhanced with ruby anvils can fall below 15
  • Diamond Anvil
    • Loses potential but not enhance level on failure
    • These are rare event and TP package only now (formerly available in Leticia Cubes)
    • Failing with 0 potential using a diamond anvil will destroy the equipment
  • Blessed Anvils
    • Functions similarly to same-type anvils but with 50% reduced silver cost

silver gold ruby download

Meta Refinement

If you fail to +16 or higher with normal anvils your best strategy is:

  • Golden Anvils (Switch to ruby at +12)

Weapon Appearance

It is possible to change an item’s physical appearance using the Blacksmith NPCs in town. You insert the weapon you want to use and then add a weapon you’d like to use as the appearance. This process costs 1 potential and a lot of silver. The lost potential and silver cost can be mitigated by using a Weapon Appearance Skin (equipment from Goddess Cubes) or using a Weapon Appearance Material from the TP/Medal Shop (can also be purchased from another player on the market)

Card Resource

Leveling Cards

Card Parties
Guild organized card parties are a great way to collect a massive amount of different cards and fodder cards for enhancing your desirables. Large guilds will generally hold a minimum of one card party a week where a maximum of 25 guildies will form 5 parties with a single DPS in each and have only the DPS attack, guaranteeing a card drop for every player present. This is a great opportunity to burn card albums.

Monster Card Album: All Colors can be purchased from the mercenary badge shop for a measly 150 badges (there is no restriction on the number you can purchase daily/weekly)

SpringLeaf Adept Savior Guide SpringLeaf

Uphill Defense

Accessible from Saalus Covenantat level 400+ is the Uphill Defense mission- a party oriented tower defence instance that you can complete 4 times per week (or once with multiplier token). Over 15 waves your task is to kill monsters and bosses and stop them from reaching the divine torch in the middle. Stronger parties should opt for a higher difficulty when entering the instance for increased rewards and have one party member collecting fire crystals for buffs.

Uphill Defense gives mercenary badges which can be exchanged for a plethora of rewards in the Mercenary Bade Shop.

Assister Cards

Pokemon in Tree of Savior, assister dungeons allow players to collect a limited set of cards to be equipped for different bonuses or used as a summonable companion for solo raids and solo challenge mode. This content is introduced in the Alongside Assisters(1) Quest. Following this brief quest chain should only take a few minutes, rewarding the player with their first Assister Card Album and access to the Assister dungeon.

Assister Dungeon
The dungeon can be accessed from the dungeon menu (F10). Each week the player can run this 50 wave dungeon instance for a multitude of rewards, primarily more card albums. Additional runs of any 5 floor set can be done daily for a single select album. Completing the dungeon will allow you to allocate cards up to a maximum cost of 48.

Equipping Cards
Cards, like equipment with higher rarity, offer higher stats and better bonuses for your character. Each card will have offer a stat increase such as HP Recovery or Type Damage which increases with each evolution and level. With the higher evolution and rarity you will accrue additional equip costs.

Only the card equipped in your first slot will offer a direct stat to your character. Depending on rarity discrepancies you may be better off equipped a lower rarity higher evolution card over a high rarity low evolution card so pay attention to the values! The maximum cost you are allotted can be raised by completing new stages of the assister dungeon and other content listed here.

The other 3 slots available to you offer combination stats that are likewise improved with evolution and level. Any 2 cards with the same element, race, or rarity offer a passive bonus. Listed below are rarity bonuses. Complete list of cards/effects/bonuses

  • Magic - Increase damage in Uphill Defense and Level Dungeons
  • Unique - Increase damage in Challenge Mode and Dimensional Collapse
  • Legend - Increase damage in Raids

Collections are a min-max piece of content that demands a near absurd level of grinding to obtain items. The items collected on each map are then turned in alongside a treasure box for a small stat increase (Physical Attack +6, Stamina + 1, Magic Defense + 9).

This content can be fun or torturous depending on the player’s disposition towards farming. Many players opt to purchase their collection items which leaves you with a great place to sell fairly useless items at an exorbitant price.

Using the in-game collection list (f11) you should try to find collections that give bonuses that are; useful for all classes, damage, stamina, or useful for pvp (accuracy, evasion, block, crit resistance). Once you narrow down these collections it is time to find an expensive item within it. ToS Neet becomes your best friend for this as it will tell you which monsters drop the item, how many spawn on that map, where they spawn on that map, and how far of a wander radius they have. You are looking for anything at a 1% drop rate or lower that might be tedious to farm. For our example we’ll look at Svalphinghas Forest and Nheto Forest.

Svalphinghas Forest’s collection offers +18 Magical Attack. The collection is comprised of plenty of items with low drop rates. Items like this will sell for several hundred thousand silver.

Nheto Forest’s Collection offers +12 Physical Attack. This collection also has several rare items in it, but what makes this one appealing is that Rhodetad drops one of the items for the collection and also drops a Healing Factor Skill lvl + 1 Gem. Finding a mob that has a valuable gem and valuable collection loot is a solid place to earn decent money with the chance for greatness on the side.
collect2 rhode
There are plenty more collections with valuable items to farm so don’t stop at my examples! I’m sure these items will fluctuate in price greatly and are maybe outshone even now.

Challenge Mode

Once per day per character you can engage in a challenge mode. In this solo/party instance you will be tasked with clearing mobs and bosses. Rewards are given upon clear. As of 13-2 this is no longer stage based and instead requires you to clear the map of mobs similar to DCP and level dungeons.

  • Requires level 440 and Gear Score: 420
  • Players can summon assisters to help them clear
  • Yields high exp, Mercenary Badges, Nucle and Sierra Powders

Auto Match

  • Accessed as auto match in the content board (F10)
    • Level 400+ and 440+ automatch options (Gear Score: 350/430 respectively)
  • Yields Silver, Goddess Token Gabija, Nucle and Sierra Powders, Vaivora Vision

Division Singularity

Level 450 (Gear Score: 450)
Division Singularity is a kill or bust CM with varying stages of difficulty for you to select prior to entering,

Singu distinguishes itself from CM by being one continuous wave of monsters and bosses with set spawn timers (this can be broken by having someone enter the portal after the timer shows 4:48. Doing so causes the mobs to spawn substantially faster and allows for quicker clears). When all the mobs are dead the Singu ends and you awarded a random amount of loot and a substantially higher chance at a Vaivora weapon as all the monsters are elite. Depending on prices it may be advisable to only run Singularities using vouchers from the mercenary badge shop and events. Additional vouchers can be crafted by combining 3 Challenge Mode Vouchers and a recipe purchased from the Sage at the entrance of Lemprasa Pond.

  • Silver + Goddess Token Gabija
  • Blessed Shards
  • Vaivora Visions

Dimensional Collapse Point

The weekly field activity available on any Episode 12 map for characters above level 440. Monsters will spawn across the entire map and you will be faced with environmental effects similar to those seen in WBR. Completing a set of 4 runs can be at once by having the party leader burn multiplier token after clearing the DCP run.

While Stage 11 has very powerful monsters, this content can be cheesed on Issaugoti Forest using Turn Undead scrolls. A full party utilizing these scrolls can clear Stage 11 in a few minutes with ease.

Weekly Boss Raid

Weekly Boss Raid is a DPS competition between everyone in a class tree against a random boss each week. Randomness covers which boss, armor type, race, attribute, and arena the raid takes place in. Due to the random nature of the weekly raid you may find your build at a serious (dis)advantage. Further difficulty can be found in the mechanics as you will be faced with ice walls, sandstorms, poison stacks, and other environmental hazards that are sure to keep you on your toes.

Loot is split into two categories: Rank Reward and Total Damage Reward. This split is to ensure the content is worth doing even for newer players or those whose build is disadvantaged. The Total Damage Rewards are for cumulative damage in runs whereas Rank is a competition for DPS in a single run.

Rank Reward

Total Damage Reward

  • Mercenary Badge
  • Magic Stone
  • Medal of Honor: Boruta
  • Shining Demon Lord Cube Box
  • Mystic Tome Page
  • Weekly Boss Raid Cube
  • Res Sacrae Gem Cube
  • Goddess Black Gem Cube

Sole Hunt Raid (Tel Harsha)

Returning to Irredian Shelter we can face the candle wielder in a solo raid. Initiate the instance by speaking with him. Much like Misrus before, you will have 20 minutes to kill Tel Harsha. Before the fight you have the option to lower the difficulty by disabling mechanics- doing so will yield fewer rewards. The Mercenary Badge Shop sells one entry voucher each week and is worth collecting if you have not yet completed your Luciferie set.

Loot: Scorched Valuable of Tel Harsha, Boruta Seal, Practonium, Magic Stone, Arch Stone Fragment, Tel Harsha Card

Legend Raids

Providing a chance for a mystic tome page and a 1,000 attribute point voucher with every completion makes completing all of your weekly legend raids a tantalizing choice. Providing a slew of best in slot gear for your endgame needs, legend raids are sure to tickle the try-hard side of any player ready to learn a new challenge. I will include a few details on each raid, a recommendation on whether or not to engage in the content, and what you stand to gain from completing the content.
Legend raids can be run three times each per week with the exception of Earth Tower and Velcoffer which can only be completed once. Newer raids like Demonic Sanctuary and Saint’s Sacellum require vouchers per entry.

Auto Match
From the Content Status Board (F10) you can find auto match options for some raids. These have a pre set gear requirement/gear score and offer a reduced challenge with nice rewards. To view gear requirements hover over the Entry Limit for the respective raid.

Level 260/310
Earth Tower (Lolopanther + Solmiki)
Loot: Essence corresponding to different 270/330 gear respectively
Recommend: Only run for mystic tome pages and weapon skins
Reroll: Not worth the silver

Earth Tower is broken into Lolopanther(260) and Solmiki(310) each with 4 areas made up of 5 floors. All areas follow a similar format but rewards different essence which can be exchanged for gear.
Each area’s essence exchanges as follows

  • Area 1 - Glove/Shoe
  • Area 2 - Bottom/Bracelet
  • Area 3 - Top/Necklace
  • Area 4 - Weapon/Shield (no trinket)

Each set of 5 Floors plays through as follows

  • 1st - Kill X mobs
  • 2nd - Gimmick (varies)
  • 3rd - Kill gimmick (varies)
  • 4th - Kill X mobs
  • 5th - Kill boss

Set Effects

With your Vasilisa equipment crafted you can look to apply a set effect with scaling benefits based on the number of pieces. Set effects vary in usefulness and can pigeonhole you or otherwise limit your success in certain content. This step in gearing separates the PVE from the PVP and in some instances places you in a niche role within that content.

Once filled, Pamoka Solutions can be used to apply set effects. Empty pamokas can be activated and will collect experience from any non-quest/card resource. You can also purchase a box of Pamoka Solutions from the Popo Point Shop once per quarter.

  • Purchase from Alchemist Master Abelu in Klaipeda
  • Purchase from Gabija Shop
  • Purchase from Popo Point Shop once per quarter

Set effects are applied using Alchemist Master Abelu in Klaipeda.

  • 6 Pamoka Solutions per piece
    • 2 Pamoka required if replacing existing set effect

Skills granted by set effects come as passive, active, or channeling. Check your common skills tab from the Skill UI(F3) to see your sets skill and apply it to your bar as needed.

Seals are an equipment seal not utilized prior to level 360 at which point you will have access to the quest, Boruta. This brief quest will introduce you one of the most influential pieces of tree of savior content and reward you with a Kaze Seal, the weakest of the three Seal sets and the only that cannot be enhanced.

Kaze Seals
These seals are underwhelming and should only be used until you can upgrade to its successors.

Irredian Seals
A fine stand in while you work towards your Boruta Seal. Enhancing these seals is possible but not recommended as the bonuses do not justify the material cost. Irredian Shelter Boss Cubes (excluding Tel Harsh) have a chance of dropping Irredian Seals.

Boruta Seals
Boruta Seals are the envy of every player without the Stage 3 that grants the incredibly powerful, set effect boosting, Dragon Strength. These are obtained from the Level 15 Guild Raid Sulvinas Lair/Ancient Being, Kedoran Merchant Alliance’s Mysterious Cube, Dimensional Collapse Point, Tel Harsha Sole Hunt, Boruta Pouch, Weekly Boss Raid Cube, and Unknown Sanctuary. 10 Boruta Seal Fragments can be collected from Unknown Sanctuary or the Fedimian Public House Balloting and combined to create a full seal.

Seal Enhancement

Upgrading Seals requires use of two Seals of equal enhance stage. The success chance of seal enhancement is consistent for Irredian and Boruta Seals and can be increased by using magic stones with each once increasing success chance to a maximum that will often result in less than a guarantee. Failure will result in a destruction of all materials used.

Vaivora Visions

Dropping from Challenge Modes, Split Singularity, and field farming on Episode 12 maps, Vaivora visions are the top tier of fixed ichors and can be leveled to increase stats or add an effect. Visions typically target a specific class (i.e. Pyromancer, Retiarius, Tiger Hunter) but may have a broader effect like the Coordination, Echo, and Bloody Fight vaivoras. Using the dual weapon system (Post 5), players can equip 4 vaivora visions (only 2 ‘original’ (generally class specific) visions may be equipped at once)

Enhancing Arks

These costs apply equally to all Arks. Experience can be transferred to another Ark at a cost of 1,000,000 silver/stage

Luciferie Accessories

Crafting these endgame accessories begins with two early legend accessory sets and ends with a collection of materials from Sole Hunt and other content.

Drakonas Accessories follow a recipe path that starts with magic/blue rarity accessories which are upgraded to rare and then unique recipes acquired from World Boss Raid Cubes or cubes from Demon Lords summoned from Black/Ominous Albums. Ominous Spirit materials are also used in each stage and are acquired the same way. Secondary accessories dropped from field mobs are used as well and will culminate in the creation of a base unique component: Lynnki Sit, Kite Moor, Pasiutes, or Frieno. These can be further combined with magic stones and a 2nd unique accessory including Akro Galia and Nepagrista to create powerful Drakonas. Recipes for the legend set are purchased from Templar Master Uska in Klaipeda using Medal of Honor: Boruta or acquired from Boruta Cubes/Pouches.

You will be visiting the Professional Alchemist with all manner of materials and the previously mentioned legend accessories to start work on your Luciferie. The new crafting components required here are Violetin Crystal, crafted from Arch Stones, Scorched Valuable of Tel Harsha from Sole Hunt, and Luperium from the alchemist master.

Opening a Luciferie set in your Accessory Storage requires:

  • 1 Luperium
  • 1 Violetin Crystal
  • 72 Scorced Valuable of Tel Harsha
  • 2 Legend Accessory Sets (varies)

Goddess Equipment Management

Within your Inventory (F2) you will find a couple new icons. This cyan colored one is where you can manage goddess equipment.

The 5th tab is our starting point as you can convert Lv 440 legend gear into goddess gear here. When succeeding the menu does not default to same type equipment so be careful!
Vasilisa equipment is character bound on equip

  • Must unequip all ichors from gear prior to converting
    • Vaivoras will become Visions upon unequiping
  • Gear must me TRA 8 to succeed
    • This works for EP12-1 and Package/Event gears
  • If the gear is TRA 10 it will inherit 66% of the ENH
    • Inherited ENH caps at +14 (when converting +21 gear or higher)

Consider this your random ichor storage. Once you’ve rolled stats you are happy with, you can save the engraving. The chance to save engravings scales with the number of Engraving Stones use and guarantees success at 20 stones.

icon_item_engrave_stone_460 (1)

It is important to select the slot to which you want to save your engraving. You can rename a slot as well and swap between applying them in the ‘Apply Engraving’ tab.

Armor ichors can be converted into engravings through the ‘Ichor’ tab. Using this method is a good way to inherit old stats which you can then upgrade to new stat thresholds with Sandra’s Detailed Magnifiers. Do not forget to engrave the stats once you upgrade the values.

If you have two stats you wish to use on all engravings you can simply Sandra’s mag the other lines until they are desirable for any niche you have in mind!

  • Engraving slots is limited to 2 slots (expanded to 7 with 30/90 Day Voucher from TP shop)
  • Engravings are saved per slot and can easily be applied to additional sets (or dual weapons)

Socket Management

Every piece of equipment has two sockets available which can be opened for a combined total of 1,500 Gabija Tokens.

  • Weapon Sockets
    • Colored gems only
  • Armor Sockets
    • Skill gems only

Refining Vasilisa equipment is done through this menu utilizing Gabija Tokens, Vasilisa Scales, and Enhance Aid. As your equipment reaches higher enhancement values, the requied number of items goes up and the chance of success lowers.

  • Goddess equipment does not break/decrease on failure
  • Failures result in fail stacks giving increase probability for subsequent enhance attempts
    • Fail stack bonus resets on success
  • Enhance Aid and Premium Enhance Aid (TP shop only) can be used simultaneously

Transcending has been streamlined, costing a measly 20 Blessed Gems per piece and allowing for all 10 stages at once. TRA offers a lower amount of attack than previous gear but at a substantially reduced cost.

Vasilisa armor’s unique effect offers 40% of anvil enhancement value being added to attack. With this in mind it would be wise to keep your armor enhancements relatively high and balance the marginal attack reward against the attack bonus and success chance that upgrading your weapons would offer.

Evolving allows you to increase weapon attack by 5% and adds a blooming cyan aura to your weapons.

  • 50 Refined Vasilisa Scales
  • 10,000 Gabija Token
  • 1 Evolution Stone
  • 100 Goddesses’ Blessed Gem

icon_item_evolve_stone_460 (1) icon_item_misc_goddes_enchant_jewel_460 (1)

Type Change

Vasilisa weapons can be swapped with any other weapon type here. ENH, TRA, and stats will be retained but awakenings are lost upon change.

  • Requires corresponding Type Change Tome (available from Wings of Vaivora shop at 20-90 coins)

Skip the trip to Teliavelis and craft your own endgame gear using Refined Vasilisa Scales and Magic Stones. Reminder that equipment is bound on equip!

Equipment Storage

Right beside the Goddess Management icon we find a suitcase that opens up the Equipment Storage. This is your tool for managing accessories, arks, and accoutrements like Vaivora Visions and Goddess/Demon armors. If you have recently unequipped those ichors they will need to be dismantled at Naujoves in Fedimian so we can rebuild them within their respective storages and unequip them to our Vasilisa gear.

  • Equipment unlocked in storage is team wide
    • Upgrading items is done on a per character basis
    • Acquiring certain items does have a silver cost per character claim

Weapons + Armor
Vaivora Visions can be created by selecting the desired vision, switching to the ‘Enter’ tab and adding the vision with a right-click. ‘Enter’ tab is renamed ‘Upgrade’ once the base vision is acquired. By adding relevant materials you can create your higher level viisions here.

To equip the vision, swap back to the ‘Apply Ichor’ tab after selecting the desired vision, drag your weapon in and apply for a small silver cost.

  • Unlike their ichor counterparts, visions are not restricted to weapon types

Armor handles much like Vaivora Visions before it. If you recently dismantled an ichor you will have to rebuild it in the storage through the same means. **Dark Red Soul Stone Piece and Complete Piece of Divine Power can be exchanged through an event NPC in Klaipeda just southwest of the Ausrine statue.

vision (1)

Karaliene and Luciferie can be dismantled at Naujoves in Fedimian for a material return and recreated in this storage. Prior to dismantling you should extract property, doing so will give you two sets of scrolls, both containing the saved ENH and TRA value of the accessory which can be reapplied after crafting/claiming from the accessory storage. Within the storage Karaliene must be created before the corresponding Luciferie option appears.

  • Once a set is created you can claim it from the storage for a 5,000,000 Silver fee/piece
    • Sets are character bound and must be claimed on a per character basis
  • Luciferie Property Scrolls count for ENH + TRA
    • You get 2 full sets so you can gear another character or make a 2nd Luci set with free ENH/TRA

Arks, also dismantled at Naujoves in Fedimian, can be crafted through this storage for a fraction of the price. Thierrynium is still crafted at the Alchemist Master and can be made into its refined variant with a right click.

  • Nucle Powder is sent to market retrieve after dismantling
  • Once created, you may claim it from the storage for 100,000 Silver on a per character basis
    • Arks are character bound and must be leveled on a per character basis

Dual Weapon System

Replacing the weapon swap system for pre 13-2 patches, dual weapon slots allows players to play around with vaivoras in a new way. Equipment displayed is that in your 1st equipment slots, 2nd equipment slots can have different equipment. This allows 2h players to equip a shield or 1h players to equip a trinket. If both equipment slots have gear equipped:

  • Stat lines of both weapons are applied 100%
    • This applies to engraved stats and vaivora visions
      • Two class and two non-class can be equipped simultaneously
      • The class vaivoras cannot be the same
  • Attack is averaged between weapons
    • Consider balancing your weapons ENH values
  • If different types are equipped in different slots then values are split
    • Trinket Attack /Shield Def applies 50% if only equipped in 1 slot
    • Attributed requiring specific weapons applied at 50%
      • Sub-weapon attack applies at 15%

Res Sacrae / Relic System

Introduced in Episode 13 is the Res Sacrae gear slot. The only item currently equipable in this slot is GIltine’s Crown of Thorns which is obtained when completing the quest What Giltine Left and allows use of Liberate Res Sacrae skill when equipped. Here we are also introduced to the new highest gear rarity, Goddess.
Giltine's Crown icon_item_ectonite
Giltine’s Crown of Thorns

  • All Stats + 10 per level
  • Cyan/Magenta/Black Relic Gem Sockets
  • Max level 20 (IMC has locked this to max 10 temporarily on iToS servers)

Leveling Giltine’s Crown
Breath of Power, obtained from Relic Dungeons, Res Sacrae/Legend/Goddess Gem Cubes, and Daily/Weekly quests (F5), can be purified (10:1 conversion) by using different materials as a catalyst. Purified Breath of Power can be inserted into the crown for 50 Exp each.

Unlike HP/SP there is no natural regen for this resource. RP is instead charged using Ectonite from Episode 13 content at a rate of 10RP/Ectonite and depleted during the use of Liberate Res Sacrae.

RP drain is fixed to 1/sec inside of the Demonic Sanctuary Raid.

Relic Gems

Obtained from Relic Dungeons, Goddess’ Grace, Demonic Sanctuary, and Episode 13 quests, these socket into Giltine’s crown and influence the effect/power of Liberate Res Sacrae. Each gem socket has available Legend and Goddess rarity gems. Gems cannot exceed Relic Lv/2 maxing out at 10.

Leveling gems is done at the Pyromancer Master’s Lab in Klaipeda with Prism Coal, Blessed Gems, and Silver. Alternatively, Gem Catalysts dropped from the Giltine Raid can be used for leveling attempts. You can also transfer gem levels between gems (destroys the old gem), and dismantle them for Prism Coal.

Cyan Gems

  • Change activation effect of Liberate Res Sacrae
  • Influences RP activation cost

Magenta Gems

  • Boost Attack / Defence / Damage / HP during activation
  • Influences RP drain per second

Black Gems

  • Boost some special stats (Healing/Slash Damage/SP Recovery/etc)
  • Applies at all times

Res Sacrae Dungeon

Accessed through the auto match function this dungeon is reminiscent of level dungeons. There are simple mechanics viewable in the Pattern Information section of the Content Status Board. Clearing this content is more tedious than anything and awards the following:

  • 5 Breath of Power
  • 2 Res Sacrae Gem Cube
  • Res Sacrae Raid: Auto Match (Hard) One Entry Voucher
    • Recipe drop is not guaranteed and requires 50 Raid Stones to craft

Hard Mode

Like singularity, Res Sacrae hard does not reset weekly but instead requires a voucher to enter. These vouchers are dropped as recipe from the normal auto match mode and can be crafted with 50 Raid Stones. This content has the highest auto match requirement in the game, and awards substantially better loot than its normal difficulty counterpart.

  • 50 Breath of Power
  • 5 Res Sacrae Gem Cube
  • 5 Breath of Power Purifier

There is a low chance to obtain the following from hard mode:
Failing to receive any of these results in an additional 5 Res Sacrae Gem Cubes

  • Legend Black Gem Cube
  • Legend Cyan Gem Cube
  • Legend Magenta Gem Cube
  • Goddess Magenta Gem Cube

Reputation Quests

These repeatable quests can be claimed from the [Kingdom Reconstruction] Notice Board in each t own and from the Orsha Officer beside the board in Orsha starting at level 458. There are both weekly and daily quests to grab here and they should be completed as often as possible to gain reputation to access the Reputation Shop on corresponding Episode 13 maps. Automatch CM is a sure fire way to clear your daily reputation quests in the quickest amount of time.

Reputation on each map maxes at 15,000. By completing reputation quests you be awarded Relief Supply Pouches and Bags. Map specific supplies are worth double reputation if exchanged on their respective maps. In addition to exchanging these, players can exchange certain materials for a maximum 1,000 reputation/week. Below is a breakdown of exchange rates and the relevant materials.

Kingdom Reconstruction Shop
Leveling your reputation with each faction will give access to:

  • 15 Second 100% Damage Potions
  • Powerful restorative items
  • Goddess Cards
  • Housing Theme/Items
  • Goddess Outfits

Goddess Cards

Acquiring a Goddess’ Card requires Stage 4 reputation on a single map. Leveling the card requires additional items acquired with varying reputation stages from the other four maps.
Listed in order: Card/Mold/Trust/Will/Commitment

Leveling Goddess Cards

This two step process involves all previously mentioned materials and Goddess Enhancement Cards.

Token of Follower
Purchased with stage 3 reputation this item acts as belorbs (in the same quantity as would be Legend Card) when leveling Goddess Enhancement Cards. Goddess Enhancement cards can be combined to level themselves and can be gambled similar to legend cards.

Token of Faith
By combining a Mold of Reverence [Goddess] with a matching Trust/Will/Commitment players can craft a Token of Faith. During Goddess Card level attempts, Token of Faith act as the Belorb stand-in. Unlike Goddess Enhancement Cards, Goddess Cards can not be gambled, instad requiring a specific amount of Exp for each stage.

Unknown Sanctuary

Level 450 (Gear Score 470 )

Hunting Grounds have returned with Unknown Sanctuary, a two floor dungeon that yields all manner of items used for equipping your goddess gear. The dungeon can be entered from Kirtimas Forest or the Unknown Sanctuary Gate in each town. Before entering you will need to purchase the 60 minute Grace of Sanctuary buff that allows you to deal proper damage within the dungeon. Dying will result in losing the buff which can be repurchased by interacting with the tower at the dungeons entrance. Interacting with this tower is also the only way to leave the area.

1st Floor
This solo only floor is home to the familiar faces of the Baubas Cave mobs and mini-bosses. Despite this appearing like a traditional hunting ground, the monsters are stronger and the mini-bosses do have a mechanic or two each. Under geared players will find themselves struggling to survive and take down monsters.

  • Silver
  • Breath of Power
  • Vaivora Vision
  • Boruta Seal Fragment
  • Arch Stone Fragment
  • [Lv.460] Sandra’s Detailed Magnifier
  • [Lv.460] Enhancement Supplement
  • [Lv.460] Golden Socket
  • [Lv.460] Goddess Enchant Jewel
  • [Lv.460] Evolution Stone
  • [Lv.460] Engrave Stone

2nd Floor
Unlike the first floor, the second allows for party play and even encourages it. This floor houses bosses seen previously at the end of unique and legend raids. While the mechanics of these bosses are somewhat stripped down, careless players will be caught out and punished.

  • Same as 1st Floor

Heroic Tale

Bounty Hunt

Written Orders, found from hunting monsters in 13-2 maps, can be turned in at the Wanted Board in each town for a bounty quest. You will be tasked with moving to a map where your target resides. While the quest is active you cannot use ‘swift movement’ (covers all forms of warping). As you make your way through the maps to your target you have a chance of being ambushed by a pack of 10 monsters which must be killed before you can move to another map.

Optimal Paths

Bounty Targets appear as one of four monster: large Varv, Suspicious Kupole, Swordsman NPC, and giant Popo. Each target has its own mechanic but poses no offensive threat. Kill them to complete the bounty.

Rewards are given in tiers randomly. Time is not a prerequisite to obtaining a specific rank reward.

Rewards denoted with an asterisk * include a Aether Gem Socket Key

Aether Gems

Each weapon has an Aether Gem Socket which can be unlocked using an Aether Gem Sockey Key. The key can be obtained from higher rank bounty hunt rewards or crafted using a recipe in the Gabija Token shop.

Once you’ve gathered 20 Aether Gem Fragments from bounty hunt you can consume them to select a gem of your choice. Aether gems increase their corresponding stat by 2/level and be increased through Remnants of Bernice. With the dual weapon system, you can equip as many as 4 aether gems.

Very nice guide. Some slightly outdated parts: for example, Irredian Shelter now has portals always open, Misrus doesn’t drop Arch Stones Fragments anymore, Thierrynium can be dropped from Singu.

Can you do something like that:

  • things to do daily before reset
  • things to do weekly before reset
I’ve had a hard time remembering everything I can/need to do since I came back
1 Like

I’ll update the Irredian to mention always open portals. Thank you.

I am operating on this patch note for the information on arch stone drops and singu (nd my own experience for the latter).

I think I could find a spot to list all daily/weekly and which content is reset- just noticed I also never mentioned server reset time or maintenance which would be nice for new players to know.

I just came back to the game this week after many years, and seeing a post like this is surely a help to understand everything that is new.

But, as also someone who just came back, the amount of items is quite overwhelming and took me a while to figure out how the progression should be. A gear progression mini-guide with what kind of content the player will be able to do would help since you basically get stuck in a huge wall once reaching ep11 and savinose set.

It follows like this:
Do every main quest, get set and weapon at ep11 and sit there because you have no silver or gear to do any of the contents mentioned above, except the outdated ones that give no reward whatsoever.

What I’ve been doing those last 3 or whatever days since I came back is farming some CMs, outerwall in specific, and so far I only managed to buy some ignas ichor for my savinose set. From here, the gap is so huge that there’s no telling on where someone should go, (although, I figured out already by looking at the items list).

Basically what I’m saying is that 3/4 of the things you mentioned there are just going to cause confusion to people when there’s nothing telling them if it matters if they do the content or not, or what they should do. Although, thanks for the guide

Here’s my mini-guide for a new player:

  • do every main quest up to episode 10
  • as you do them and starting from level 100 maps, do one CM every day – lower level maps still can yield a lot of silver once cumulated, plus you never know when you’ll get a valuable skill gem (for example: getting Meteor gem on Sanctuary map = easy 50 mil silver)
  • if you’re not bored, do the sidequests (blue ones – don’t bother with the green repetitive ones, they’re too tedious and unrewarding)
  • get every Kedorian set at level 40-75-120-170-220-270-315 (I think you can skip the 350 one since the 315 set is based off old unique items that have huge boosts) and then the Pajauta set (380) and the Neringa set (400)
  • complete episode 11, get the EP11 savinose set, use the event regular magnifiers and some nucle to get decent stats (at least a line of CON or STR/INT, even if it’s a small boost it’s better than useless blue or red line)
  • do every content that give mercenary badges, at least Bernice and Uphill
  • get Galimitive armor set from the mercenary badge shop – spare your silver for your weapon, ichor them, equip the ichors on your armor
  • buy a decent ichor for your weapon(s) from the market, no need for something fancy – Moringponia, Misrus, Skiaclipse… will do and will not be too expensive
  • complete episode 12, ask for help if you can’t kill the last boss as it can be tricky

At this point, if you have done one CM per day, you should be standing on 100-200 mil silver, enough mercenary badges to buy accessories (Carnas), Master cards and CM vouchers daily from the shop (plus things like enchant jewels), enough nucle to enhance your free Ark, AP and mystic pages up the wazoo from events to improve your attributes. Your Savinose equipment along with those boosts is good enough to start working on the next tier.

this game much easier if u have fix party to play , it is hard play with random people or Solo for future progress

That’s with any mmorpg with endgame raids to be honest. The problem with ToS, though, is that they basically throw you into the endgame with nothing but a basic gear, with progression time-gated, and there’s nothing else besides endgame raids and CM. So there’s no option other than waiting day by day or hope you can find a good soul to carry you through content.

The post above mentions CM, but CMs for a new player are far from a walk in the park if you’re farming for silver and going to cm7, they take quite a while each run and you have to drink potions like a madman. Also, market isn’t open for 7 days -even for me after coming back- so you don’t have potions either, besides the ones from login which are 20 or so. CM also requires entries which requires merc badges, which requires uphill, which you can’t do unless you’re getting carried. So, realistically you’re doing 1 run per day, maybe 2 with what you farm from field.

I’m not complaining though, I’m just trying to give a more realistic view to people, because doing any content besides the outdated ones unless you’re getting carried, is not realistic at all, and that’s for a while. The first weeks are just a waiting game, making new characters or whatever to not get bored.

I’m taking this feedback seriously and want to address it in the initial post with a rough guide to gear progression. First step is going to be making a new team and seeing what silver can be accumulated by the time Episode 12 drops you in the real world.

You aren’t wrong. The game is in an awkward place until Episode 12 rewards are given (Savi Dysnai gear at low trans/enhance). The question is something like- do I make Varna and set effect it so I’m not worthless in content or make a build that can get by on lower gear in CM spam like Hunter/Falc/App. I don’t think the latter is a reasonable solution but I’m not confident the first will set anyone up for success either.

Anyway, in the near future you can expect some kind of suggested path for post questing based on the experience of a player going through the quests with nothing but Kedoran gear. I know people are tired of being told by everyone with 8 Arch Stones under their belt how they should manage in Savi.

EDIT: Added Assister Cards/Dungeon/CM info and reorganized Index. Some information has been shifted down a post due to exceeded post size limit

This needs to be stickied.

Initial post has been updated with a gearing recommendation. @Yukise I did not end up running through the Episodes again to accumulate silver for a base as returning players would not necessarily have this silver handy and even new players may blow silver on their way to Episode 12.

The answer isn’t a miracle and it aint sexy but I have guildies showing me how it is done without my direction so I know it works.

Joint Strike info and more detailed descriptions for each Ark’s effect coming in the near future.

Good luck out there saviors!

I am currently updating the guide for current patch 13-1. Please stand by for another post to acknowledge changes.

Archiving content that lost relevancy but was part of the guide. While this content was not removed, it is obsolete and should not be pursued. It is now eating up too much of the post character limit but I want the information to be available for the sake of Tree’s history.

Thanks for all your hard work! :hey:

Updated the guide with missing Episode 13 information.

  • Level 4 Vaivora
  • Goddess Cards / Level system
  • Relic Gem upgrade information (Pyromancer’s Lab)

Apologies for any inaccuracies in the Goddess Card section as I’m working off of sketchy google translate from the original ktos update post. I’m positive that the required reputation stages for each area are correctly listed in my guide and will look to update any discrepancies as more information is made available.

Sorry for the delay.

i think if your aim is luciferie, starting from incomplete kara will cost you more than starting with complete kara. But if you never aim for luciferie, incomplete kara set is cost-efficient enough.

I think you can split this guide in 2 as it’s almost a guide on everything and the scope might be too big. I’d make the cutoff at around finishing the upgrades on the equipment from EP12.
Agree on that there should be info on what’s daily, what’s weekly/monthly, and their reset time.
I have a couple tips I figured out during the long boring grind to EP12.

  • You can’t trade/use the player market for 7 days after beginning/returning though you may reach the point when you need better HP potions before then. Save up Dilgele(Monster drop) and make an Alchemist to craft HP potions if you don’t want to wait until then.
  • Other than a Cleric for healing, the endgame healing item is Small Elixir of HP Recovery.
There are a couple other items such as Lv15 Condensed HP Potion (player made) and the Huge HP Potion from NPC item shops but they don’t heal for much but there aren’t much good self healing methods so they’re still useful early.
  • Stated at some point in-game, but when your character dies, the durability of all equipped items drop significantly and the gems in your inventory drop. Supposedly this might have been changed but this is still mentioned in the in-game Help. This may happen in just some specific maps instead.
  • Generally all the equipment before endgame at lv440+ that you get as drops can be sold for silver or if they don’t have a sell value, be disassembled at the blacksmith NPC for Nucle Powder or Sierra Power(from unique/legend equipment), materials used in a number of ways at end-game.
