Great novelty costumes locked to classes?

Why is it that novelty costumes are getting locked to classes?

I had looked forwards to a Rem/Ram Re;Zero roleplay partnership between myself and a friend who rolled the character names and character designs based on their personalities, however the maid costume is being locked.

Why IMC?

Do you not want our money?

I don’t see any sensible reason to lock novelty costumes to classes at all. By ALL means lock the costumes that should obviously only be worn by specific classes within the lore of the world, but these obviously novelty costumes like bunny and maid are really equal to the chicken costume.

Please unlock novelty costumes for all classes. This just stops people from buying them for no good reason when other multi-class costumes already exist. This isn’t about easily identifying classes by visual anymore.

I’m waiting for LGBT community to protest about their right to Cross dress :joy:

I don’t know how they didn’t yet, then again, they generally go for the most realistic outcome, picking a char gender.

Even tho we accept, at least some of us, their sexual orientation, in Asia is a delicate subject, and for IMC to allow that here but not there, could cause some problems unwanted issues also.

It is complicated, well, humans and the so called morals complicate everything.

Inside gamers heads the image of
Clerics=slaves
Mages=sluts
Swordsmen=hobos
Archers=forest hobos
IMC is just going for cliched looks.

Crossplay is extremely commonplace in anime circles, and even moreso common in SK and Japan than it is over here in the west.

Over here it’s mostly done as a joke whereas you’ve probably actually missed that some cosplays are guys.

Yeah i know, but i am referring to homosexual side of it all, while some is indeed as simple cosplay, who is ^ in the group above will come out saying they are, which i think it is their right to do so.

Lets leave this subject aside, in all honesty this thread will probably be turned into a battlefield if we keep it.

As for the topic at hand, i think it would be neat to not have gender lock for some costumes, i mean, we can wear ribbons and female hats in male chars, why not costumes right?

I’m fine with battlefields as long as I get my god damn maid costume on a wizard >(

I made the same thread not long ago

I don’t even know what are they thinking anymore.

Truth of the world.

Also Swordies Maid:

Can this one be considered a maid? lol

@Nirimetus
Your’e forgetting Archer Maid:

Rem is a cleric type chjaracter, so you can.

But i already did lol.

oh true, the Maidguy xD

Would be nice if they add char skins for physical features like muscles or curves (for female), or some sort of small customization in that area to make it a bit more fun. (Its totally not because i want to make a perfect copy of Kogarashi lol)

Well that could be hilariously funny

Rem is totally not a Cleric character when she’s having a frenzy. Blood, blood, blood and bodies flying everywhere.

Her self regenerative powers are an incidental trait of the Demon race, not her primary mana use. It’s primarily wind based, but for the sake of a lack of wind in the game I’ve gone with kino>featherfoot. Kino for the distant control of objects/bodies using wind and featherfoot for the graphic blood the show is known for. Featherfoot has similar regenerative powers too anyway.

Our Ram is a Cleric because she’s primarily healing because of (insert spoilers here) and generally not bloodthirsty like her sister, nor has much power over her wind skills.

Why is my Trap sense tingling so much :neutral_face:
