Great list of suggestions, Staff feedback would be cool

I’ll list some things that I think should be changed, kept or even removed from the game. Community feedback will be cool, but keep the topic clean and fun - without being toxic you know?

The list is great, and I’ll be adding community suggestions for a while - should you want to.

Members of all communities are welcome, these include: [NA] Klaipeda and Orsha, [EU] Fedimian, [Asia] Telsiai and Varena, and [SA] Silute. - Of the Korean community (TOS Nexon) too, if anyone sees this.

All members of the Tree of Savior Staff (Even developers, illustrators, advertising and any other sector.) are welcome too, in fact we would be happy to have feedback from you for a while on this topic.

I’ll start with what matters now, I’ll try to make it as organized as possible.

About the game in general:

Time Zone:

>You can change the game time to the time zone of the server. (It does not matter if the server is in the NA, we do not need to know the time there) - maybe it’s a little more difficult to get the news, but inside the game it’s configurable by script, on the site just put the schedules for each region.

NPCs and Stores:

>Create areas around NPCs that you can not create stores … Seriously, if you want to be more radical, create specific places where they are possible - like a gallery - it would be fun.

Market "Price Range"

>Enhance the Market system that says the range of prices, make it automatic and more accurate.

Optimization:

Lag issues, one of them:

That’s it, your game will lag only the first time you open the map.

Even if your settings are in English, the path must be the same.

PS: If you clear the browser cache, this change will be undone. And you’ll have to redo it.

I believe in the STAFF (or fairies), we wait to see if they appear, and if it does appear, with good feedbacks.

Oh my you really did your homework, nice find regarding Macromedia map lag
Some points of notice:

Twin swords is too obvious to not exist, it is more a question of when rather than of it will

Time zone wise maybe the game is using the server system time and they can’t change it as a consequence of contract, they could simply add +x hours to the server time, but it would still be a bandaid fix, best way to “fix” is by showing the client time and using a “time+ difference from server” variable when making server wide in game announcements

I never had any problem with user.xml so I can’t comment in this

I know people hate but sometimes I wonder if a commodity-like market style (like the one used in steam trading cards sale) would be better for some of the items, let people set the price they want, and leave founds reserved to auto purchase if the item gets listed by the disired price

Item appearance, if making new models is too much of work, then at least bring some big color differences, being colorblind it took me some time to notice the difference in your screenshot

Graphhcal settings won’t make much difference since most of the game isn’t graphically demanding, they are nice to have but I would prefer if they focused on other problems

On the rewrite topic, I believe they are doing so, last I heard the multi-threading is bringing a lot of bugs so they are working in fixing it

I believe there will be at least one more kind of pet (mountable, flying and “dog” for Shepard) I would actually like some quest pets that gives you a pet and a slot, but the quest is only once per account and requires a high leveled character

On PvP I agrre, especially with the items part, never liked that people could use potions in PvP, antidotes actually make wugushi useless in PvP, the game actually needs that every single skill gets a separate balance for use in PvP, but personally I believe PvE should be prioritized

There already exists a class with requirement (chaplain aka priest c4) I wish that all classes eventually got one (cryo could have a “freeze master” that focused on freezing and dealt increased damage on frozen targets (huge damage) and able to freeze any monster (Inc bosses with some kind of penalty), peltasta/rodelero/murmillo “c4” could have the ability to equip shields on the main hand and get bonuses, cleric “c4” could be able to set a heal tile that deals both damage and heal (not one or another))

I believe awakening/transcendence should remain effect-less, the game already have too much visual cluster, however a small effect when auto attacking seems nice for transcedence, especially if it slowly became more apparent with a higher level transcedence

Lastly in an ideal world, imc should make an add-on browser in game and completely block any kind of outside add-on, you submit an add-on to them, they review and release it, however this would need someone with programming know-how, and they can’t spare this kind of person

On the Twin-Sword classes, yes, maybe it’s a matter of when it will come. Honestly I’m afraid, afraid to come more of the same. They will have to work hard so that there is a style in the class.

About time, it is not an extremely difficult thing to do (if the game is prepared for it). And, well, it’s more about comfort for the players. It’s a bit annoying to have to check the hours of another place in the world, and then yours. When we just do not forget the difference and we play based on the time that is inside the game - I already played, it was 10pm, and well … It was already 3am.

On the Game Market, it really needs to be improved - and for yesterday, it’s one of the most important parts of an MMORPG. The categories are bad, and when it comes to researching specific effects, do not even talk about it.
Some things can be placed in the classification, such as place where it picks up, levels, types of effects, rarity, durability, enchantment, and so many others. In addition to what you said, an auction system would be super welcome too, plus access to the market distance (for Token users) - this is very common nowadays, but of course, not completely necessary.

About the items is not completely uncomfortable, but there should be a limit. - but there are some things coming, - I’ll drop down a printscreen - And, well, maybe Daltonic Mode is welcome. But of course, we can’t know how much work it does, and how viable it would be.

About the graphical options, some things even exist: Like the option of Draw Actor Percent, Draw Monster Percent, among others … Maybe some changes are more drastic, and they can be applied through the settings panel of the game. Skills should actually have their formulas all redone after redoing the attributes of the game, the need for a damage cap makes no sense at all (199,999 currently). If the formulas are well done, with minimal and maximum damage, making conditions and configuring them separately for the pvp system as well. … This cap damage can be removed, in fact it should. If there is a need for a damage cap, is not it easier to lower the damage at all? OK. It is not easier, but it certainly is the most appropriate.

About the effects, I like everything very minimalist. But, I believe these things should not be just numbers. You know, “WOW TRANSCEDENCE” and are just numbers …

Apparently the game is also not compatible with the Triple Buffering system too. But it’s already something I can’t confirm, so I did not list it - I also do not know when this is applied to games, basically I have no knowledge to question.
