First of all, you shouldnât be insulting me, you donât know me and I donât know you, but at least, I have some basic knowledge of whatâs called ârespectâ.

Finally, I donât consider leaving a finger on the Z key as being afk. You wanna know why? AFK means Away from the Keyboard, I think we can both understand that OP didnât cut his finger and put it on the Z key while he was away, he was still in front of his keyboard, NOT using any program similar to botting.

You only know what the OP tells you, I hardly doubt they sat there for hours with there finger on the key.
Itâs quite clear that they put something on the key to keep it auto attacking while they were busy doing something else.
As per the Terms of Service this is a banable offence and has been rightfully banned for it, IMC certainly do need to be more clear about what they class as âBottingâ however this is certainly one of them and I will continue to report anyone I see doing it.
Playerâs that do this have an unfair advantage over those that donât.
Is it unfair that you are too lazy to hold down the z key and want everyone banned who does?

So Hawking canât play TOS without botting.
Because he use something to press Z for him or even direct input an attack command and hold it, While busy solve a math.
He will be banned, And his ban is well deserved.

Iâve stood in place in telnet garden before not auto attacking but being mostly afk watching â â â â in another window waiting for the panto spearman to spawn because he drops at item at 5% rate and spawns once every TEN MINUTES. If you ban people you see standing around attacking junk and being mostly afk youâre gonna end up falsely reporting people who are legit playing the game.
Do you expect me to stand there staring at a screen with nothing going on around mobs that donât drop anything worthwhile, is it cheating that I use another screen to multitask?? I donât get the logic.
What you people are missing is that if you left your autoattack on for an hour - it does infinitely less than someoneâs pet at a higher level. Itâs not unfair gains, youâre just babies.
Any form of this kind of game play should be a ban worthy offence purely down to the fact that you donât actually know if the player is there.
IMC should be clear on this and hopefully they will make a post regarding it so other playerâs donât follow the same fate.

I donât say ppl who do such things are not guilty at allâŚbut maybe otherwise they wouldnât do other things that is bad. Exploits are not always that clear that they are exploits. In this case it is totally messed up because both of IMCs statement about it and the function is questionable.
But anyway unless they rly donât care about it and they decide that it is considered botting⌠then they have to fix it⌠It is just not right to leave something that is bad in the game.
Are you totally clueless, auto attacking on the spot whether your using a 3rd party program or not is essentially botting plain and simple, why should I and others put hours into the game when playerâs are able to stand there auto attacking when there not even at the computer, everyone would be doing it.

Except, they arenât using any macro or bot to play for them in this scenario. They are literally using the same tools YOU have - your hands. Your opinion that it is âessentiallyâ botting is not as good as the fact that it is literally, by definition, not botting or being afk.
The only thing that should be up for debate here is whether or not this user is lying. Since none of us actually know and only IMC would be able to tell.
In the OPâs original post it states that âgot something hold buttonâ meaning they stuck something in there keyboard to hold down the key while they were doing something else.

You know this debate is useless, send a ticket to the GM team, we, as players, canât do anything for you except debating whether you should be unbanned or not.
ummm nope, they are using âsomethingâ to make the Z key get stuck > change page or go away, and come back after some time it might be 1 hour or more, but they are essentialy not playing the game while the game is being playing by âitselfâ heâs not moving, he just stands there, waiting for mobs to come in and the Z-key being pressed will kill everything.
If you canât play, donât leave something to play for you, from a heavy object on the Z key to a software that makes the character moves & attack.
