They ban by number of bot reports. You were afk killing in a popular zone so lots probably reported you.

That can be considered botting, you cannot control pet’s actions, you did however leave your character there on purpose doing autoattacks to grind while you are away.

Yeah, but the fact is they banned him based on reports and not actual investigation. What happens if me and my guild don’t like you and suddenly 20+ of us report you?

However he wasn’t reported in a wrong way, he was indeed botting, with a simple afk autoattack macro, but that’s still botting.

It won’t happen anything, because even if they ban me for that, which I doubt it happens without any sort of investigation, they would have to unban me after the investigation.
If the person you reported was botting they’d probably be banned.
If he wasn’t then he’s probably in the clear.
I don’t think your scenario was that difficult to evaluate.
I wonder if people can report Rogue C3s afk farming with Z while burrowed lol

I know this is like spitting into the wind, but seriously. If your time is too precious to whittle away grinding like everyone else, don’t play the game.
I hope you remake, pop an AFK-attack squat, and get banned again. People who think they are too good to play games with others properly deserve to get a time out.

I feel for you bro! In some other famous game my account got banned cause my cat was farming gold using my account without permission. He has that thing called paws which can do only basic actions so he was reported botting. And since he cant speak human he couldnt even explain himself to the GM!
Also because company running the game was greedy they pretended they didnt believe me!

You sound stupid. I doubt he thinks he’s “too good to play games with other people.” I’m sure he just thought that grinding is a monotonous task that’s very boring so he’d rather watch a movie instead. While I don’t condone botting, it’s not as if his reasons for doing so were absurd.
Play the game instead of going afk, problem solved

So, only bots who stay away from the computer have to be banned, the ones who babysit at the computer have to be allowed…/logic
