It’s time for a GM Playdate!
Seriously, they don’t know what they were doing now.

My only question to this is.
Why
Simple, they are preparing for the Ktos update. They are more important than us, right?
IMC is understaffed probably.
I can’t access the Popo emojis! Am I not worthy enough?

If they are low on staff they certainly shouldnt host events in person.
Put face if you are already fed up with these Nonsensical Delays.
Remember, a GM is not part of the development team…
It’s easy enough to give 50 bucks to a random person to play silly games with even sillier players that accept this (us).
Ill just refer to Behind the scenes @ Imc Part 3
They could actually help dev team by testing out future content and looking for bugs.
I can already see the more popular questions appearing
“where is tbl?”
“where is r9?”
“when are we getting next big update?”
I know they are working but seriously, GM meet-ups don’t help the game at all.
We see everything KTOS gets and all we get is cash updates that introduce new bugs even though they have no content.
How bad can the damage be if we get some of the stuff that KTOS already had for months, like e.g. the new Saalus version? ITOS doesn’t need updates that contain like 3-4 months of KTOS updates, it needs bug fixes and quality of life-changes that stop the player bleeding.
And what is the player base worth of? Recycled cheap events that are cleared in 5-10 minutes and afk-fishing that takes several hours and nets you mostly just useless fishes(that can’t even be consumed in an instanced dungeon, which is the only place where those buffs are useful…). And more cash items and bugs.
Events are not going to rescue the game, they are just a cheap way to get some freemium items like skill reset and stat reset potions[still laughing, considering it was supposed to be founders pack-exclusive] or gem abrasives.
If the Staff is serious about the playerbase in iTOS it’s time to put the cards on the tables and give us an at least semi-reliable schedule[and please,if there are problems, don’t hide them, the players overseas aren’t as unforgiving as the Korean players; it just feels bad if you have to wait a whole week for another random patch note].
We know that you are people like us, people make mistakes, people have work and private life and people have to face problems from time to time.
And if you don’t show any transparency, players can’t and will not trust you.
Nowadays, even free translators/scanlators of manga&web novels have more transparency than your company, although you are relying on the players paying for the game service.
So to solve the problems of frustration and missing communication:
How about a Q&A-chat for 30 minutes or 1 hour per week as some kind of community interaction aside from random forum posts and rare ingame appearances of GMs?
Not ingame but by adding a chat to the forums that can be used during the specific time window.
It can’t be so expensive to pay someone for 1 hour/week to collcet some player data and give some update of the current iTOS situation regarding upcoming patches, bug fixes and working conditions.
Just see how IMC truly cares for iToS Community?
