Give healers unlimited dungeons per day /problems solved

A lot of people are complaining about the lack of healer in their dungeon.

Personally of course I built the healer to support, but I can only do 3 runs per day due to the system. I prefer most dungeons over running around and questing and I think there are many healers out there with a similar mindset.

As we all know just because people want it there is not suddenly enough healers for everyone. They are limited and underplayed like in any MMO (just like tanks) so a solution would be to give healers more lockouts or infinite.

That way a healer that plays actively might “save” 12 groups per day instead of 2-3.

IMC it is up to you to weigh if this incentive is too big, but honestly I don’t see a problem opening the gates for healers that are actually there.

Well yeah… a support class obviously shines in party play not in questing or grinding… expecially if we’re talking of grinding flying enemies… so as a healer… i totally agree.

You dont see a problem with a game full of healler just to run dungeons, get itens and pass to alts???
Relly…can you imagine what would happen?? 90% of the players will build healers just to get boxes…this ill make the AH full os the same RARE itens and ■■■■ the economy…

Then SPAM the staff members via private messages because we don’t really have anything to do with you and you can easely send messages to the people involved

Then let it be 10 lockouts. If a healer has more lockouts than a DD naturally even a healer from a group of friends will gravitate towards pug-play or not do the dungeons in which case no problem arises.

If you think they give items to their alts - where is the problem with that? I can make 4 chars past level 90 in a couple of days and have 12 arde dagger * 3 chances per day. Heck it goes F2P, people that want to will have several accs and transfer stuff around as they see fit.

The convenient way to alleviate a bit of the issue with pug-play without skyrocketing the queue is to give more lockouts to healers.

Yeah i tought it was a joke post so i answered but i’m getting kind of worried now that people will take my answer as a serious one too

lol im a healer too but seriously making an unlimited run ? then everyone will make a healer just to get drops then we will have a lack of dps then you will complain again so the result will be unlimited dungeon run for everyone ?

Healer can support in quests/grinding as well. They don’t need this.

Healers arent even needed for Dungeons… So far i was able to clear every Dungeon up to Level 180 in Groups where no Cleric class was present.

Yeah healers aren’t needed for dungeons for a good group. You know what half the population isn’t? Good per definition.

If you have average players in a dungeon they will struggle with plenty of bonfiring. I see what I heal per random dungeon and it isn’t a little.

Now you say everyone will make a healer for increased drops, but I find that hard to believe. Right now people could already alt swiftly to level 90 in a SINGLE day for arde dagger - yet I don’t see “everyone” do that. I see the arde dagger closing in on 800k+ in value.

So what is stopping you guys?

Also what about the playtime? Just because a healer could technically do dungeons 24/7 doesn’t mean he is physically able to. Maybe initially he will pump it out like a madman, but that will pass rather quickly and it will shift more into a pattern of doing more dungeons every couple of days.

Just tried to do the 115 dungeon without a healer. Impossible.
We got kicked out after the first boss because of the time limit. It is just from the moment on that monsters use spells you cant block or dodge you need regeneration.

Even if people create clerics simply to farm dungeons, why not? At least we have fine parties then.

so far the only “undodgeable”* things i have encountered where:

  • Ranged AA from monsters (i.e Bows)
  • some minor Spells (i.e Ice Pike)
  • i put “” because afaik one can dodge everything including all spells? <- confirmation needed.

If your group wouldve focused on the task at hand i am 100% sure you couldve cleared the whole thing. even without a healer!

You keep forgetting that without lieing you can say half the playerbase is not adequatly skilled.

Yes you can if you are aware and care, but it is often easier and more convenient to blame the lack of healer for your demise or if healer present lack of his healing prowess.

These things don’t help though, there has to be a solution. If IMC changes the queue so a cleric must be present, queue times explodes. To reduce queue times we are here. To save time for all involved and realistically as I said it makes no difference to the economy, because ESPECIALLY when the game goes f2p everyone can level as many chars for additional IDS as he sees fit.
