General kCBT3 Changes - Summary

do you get different gems with more than +1 level?

I’m not sure about that, but I’d wager it works the same as the weapon effect and Level 15 skills.

I haven’t gotten a skill to Level 15 myself so I don’t know how it interacts.

I don’t remember if Divine Might could force skills above Level 15, but if it can then it’s a chance it will work the same.

So far, all mongems I’ve seen have just been +1 Skill Level to a specific skill.

You can equip multiple gems of the same type for more increases though. (So 3 gems which give +1 level to Bash would result in +3 levels overall.)

Just a few things to clarify about the skill ‘Jolly Roger’ since I also did some tests on it.

  • Levelling Jolly Roger increases the max combo by +1 for each level past Level 1. (i.e. Max combo of 10 at Level 1, 11 at Level 2, etc.)
  • When you reach the max combo, it will last for 10 seconds. Kills won’t refresh the timer.
  • Each combo count adds +5 damage (according to the skill), for both physical and magical attacks. This isn’t reflected in the stats. It’s also not a % value.
  • Levelling the skill also increases the duration.

It still seems like a 1 point wonder even with this information.

Did they remove the steal effect of the Jolly Roger?
And what about shared warehouse/mail system between other people and our characters?

No, Looting is still present when you use Jolly Roger.

The skill ‘Looting’ is deleted, but the effects are incorporated into Jolly Roger, so when you’re under the ‘Jolly Roger’ AoE, you’ll get both the Jolly Roger buff and Looting buff.

Another patch note update (Oct 26th), only one day before iCBT2! Check it out here.

  • Fixed issues with Bokor’s Mackangdel reducing incoming damage.
  • Fixed an issue with gems not applying when equipped on a subweapon.
  • Removed some ingredient recipes the Tool Merchant shop.
  • Fixed an issue with Buy-in Shops. (?)
  • Fixed an issue with the number of uses of Oracle’s Change.
  • Alchemist’s Item Awakening change. (Not sure, might be 'fixed so that only the Alchemist’s party can enter the dungeon.)

I’m not 100% sure on the above translations, so check back when they’re eventually translated. :disappointed_relieved:

  • Unlocking Hair Dye now awards a ‘Hair Dye Potion’ of the specific colour. Using this unlocks the option to use the colour. You can swap between them at will.

  • Enhance Attributes for Kunai, Katon-no-Jutsu and Mijin-no-Jutsu

  • Mijin-no-Jutsu: Stealth

After using [Mijin-no-Jutsu], gain ‘Stealth/Cloaking’ for 5 seconds. (Level 2?) and duration is increased by 1.5 seconds per attribute level.

  • Katon-no-Jutsu: Stealth

After using [Katon-no-Jutsu], gain ‘Stealth/Cloaking’ for 2 seconds per attribute level.

  • Bunshin-no-Jutsu: Endurance

The Stamina consumption time period upon activation of [Bunshin-no-Jutsu] increases by 0.05 seconds per attribute level.

  • Mokuton-no-Jutsu: Bind

When affected by [Mokuton-no-Jutsu], cause ‘Bind’ for 4 seconds. (Level 2?) and duration will increase by 1 second per attribute level.

Dragoon

  • Enhance Attributes for Dragontooth, Serpentine, Gae Bulg and Dragon Soar.

+1% damage per attribute level.

  • Dragontooth: Evasion

After using [Dragontooth], Evasion increases by 10% per attribute level for 7 seconds.

  • Serpentine: Bleeding

[Serpentine] has a 5% chance per attribute level to cause ‘Bleeding’ for 5 seconds. Bleeding damage is proportionate to the P.Atk of the Dragoon.

  • Gae Bulg: Defensive Zone

In the location the Spear is thrown, Physical Defense and Magical Defense increases.

  • Gae Bulg: Attack Zone

In the location the Spear is thrown, Physical Attack and Magical Attack increases.

  • Dragon Soar: Shock

When damaging enemies with [Dragon Soar] has a 5% chance per attribute level to cause ‘Shock’ for 10 seconds.

Plague Doctor

  • Enhance attribute for Incineration

+1% damage per attribute level.

  • Healing Factor: Attack

When enemies step onto [Healing Factor]'s magic circle, they will take continous damage. The total damage is proportional to the current HP of the character.

  • Bloodletting: Bleeding

Whilst [Bloodletting]'s effect is active, HP Consumption time increases by 0.02 seconds per attribute level.

  • Bloodletting: SP Alternative

Whilst [Bloodletting] is active, 10% chance per attribute level that whilst HP is being drained, SP is also drained.

  • Fumigate: Prevention

[Fumigate] causes a 10 second buff, which blocks ‘Level 3 status effects’ at a 5% chance per attribute level. (?)

  • Fumigate: Filtration (lit. Water Treatment)

Using [Fumigate] causes a cleansing area to last for 10 seconds. Allies will have their Poison Resistance increased by 10%.

  • Beak Mask: Resistance

Whilst wearing [Beak Mask], 5% chance per attribute level to block ‘level 3 status effects’, but SP consumption will also increase.

  • Beak Mask: Poison Resistance

Whilst wearing [Beak Mask], Poison Resistance will increase by 5 per attribute level.

Kabbalist

  • Enhance attribute for Nachash and Merkabah

+1% damage per attribute level.

  • Revenged Sevenfold: Duration

Duration of [Revenged Sevenfold] increases by 1 second per attribute level.

  • Revenged Sevenfold: Curse

When damaging with [Revenged Sevenfold], 10% chance per level that the enemy will be inflicted with ‘Curse’ for 7 seconds.

  • Nachash: Resistance

When [Nachash] is used, the range of the ‘resistance effect’ is increased by 1%. (no per attribute level listed, may mean 'resistance increases by 1% in a range when used.)

  • Nachash: Ailment (lit. State)

When damage is dealt by [Nachash], when petrified or cursed, the damage increases by 1%. (again, no per attribute level listed.)

  • Ayin Sof: Duration

Duration of [Ayin Sof] increases by 1 second per attribute level.

  • Ayin Sof: Create Additional

When using [Ayin Sof], another circle will be generated.

  • Merkabah: Petrification

When you use [Merkabah] to damage an enemy inflicted with ‘Curse’, cause ‘Petrification’ for 4 seconds.

Also, expect ‘Ayin Sof’ to be localised to either Ain Soph or Ein Sof later.

It’s not a mistranslation. It’s written clearly in English in the skill table.

There’s no other information about it, all the other information is just placeholder info. (i.e. TEST listed as the description or nothing listed.)

I suspect it’s a GM skill though, unless they’re planning something to do with Gender vs. Monsters.

Maybe we will have +50% damage against opposite gender. Interesting…

not a fan of gender based damage modificators tbh :expressionless: that should always be cosmetic

That Dragoon sounds BEAST. An Evasive 2-handed spear based class. Interesting.

Judging by the skill names, Dragoon doesn’t sound mount-ish at all, guess it’s time to reconsider Cataphract. :\

are they available in kCBT3+ or just in the client?

When I say a skill is listed, they’re not implemented. Most of these are just skill names without any data entered.

They’re just mentioned in the client.
