Does it work for elemental skills (“spells”) or only normal attacks? (I only had normal attacks in my mind before, so I forgot to ask).
Is it single target or cleave/AoE debuff?
This things would lead to many more builds… Clerics sure are interesting with so much possibilities and class interactions!!
One is having a chance to “invalidate the enemy”, one is reducing the chance of “invalidating attacks”; what I can think of is something connected to stun or similar disabling status.
From testing out Resist Elements’ new ‘nullification/void’ feature which is also mentioned in these skills, it’s the chance to completely negate damage. Resist Elements has a 19% chance to nullify any elemental attack (excluding Holy and Dark), which was tested. When attacking a Paladin with a [Magic]-[Fire] skill, the red/yellow ‘Miss’ text appeared at times. This is what it is referring to.
This means ‘voidance’ or ‘nullification’ will become a prominent thing, almost like Flee or ‘Perfect Dodge’ in RO was, and there will be counter play to this. It’s not a stat anyone can get though so far, and seems very exclusive to skill attributes.
Luckily, I’m playing with a C2 Paladin right now who is about Level 150 and aiming for C3 Paladin so we can test out Conviction a lot more.
I have a feeling it’s like any normal attack where it can hit multiple targets as long as they’re all fairly close.
It should work for BOTH elemental skills (spells) and normal attacks which have elements added, but we’ll see soon.
Just to clarify, the attribute is correct. You will only get an increase in SKILL damage with a Rapier when you do not have a Shield equipped. Daggers and other subweapons are fine, you will get the attribute’s damage with these on.
When I mention ‘animation data’, it’s usually a table of values which determine how a model moves and what effect particles are used and what colours they are.
The data doesn’t mean anything by itself and I personally don’t know how to apply it to a model myself, if it can even be done outside of the game’s engine.
All this means is that they’re working on the skills.
It should, and they are able to use a formation by themselves (a basic one at least but from the looks of it not specific skill ones, correct me if I’m wrong) but the effects of the specialised formations increase with more people in the formation.
Reminder that Centurion will be replaced with Fencer at Rank 6 and will be return at a higher rank. It will most likely be unavailable by iCBT2. (I don’t expect them to allow us to go for a class they’re planning to remove.)
Ty for the info. Seems like Centurion is a very strong class (50% CDR + 95% def. reduction). Probably this CDR formation skill doens’t work on his own CD.
Ahhhh, got that wrong o__o; Baroness Disc… Your lag is still funny and confusing as ever for skill demonstrations~
So lets see… Putting points in Spear Lunge is stupid, Long Stride is a maybe… And nobody likes Synchro Thrusting anyway (and not for people who wanna 2H Spear/Offhand Dagger)…
Doesn’t detract much from getting Pierce, I will take this nerf-- ahem, I mean “BUG FIX” :C
Pierce is still fine, it was just a balance that’s all. I don’t think they initially intended for it to do 3 hits + 4 hits (so 7 hits in total) on bosses.
Also yeah, KR latency doesn’t help in showing skills off but it should all be fine in iCBT2. I’ll finally be able to test out skills with a faster connection.
