General Grades for Class Ranks (Updated 6/2/2016)

  1. A2-R2-F3

Decent, but R2 is more or less considered a bad pick because it doesn’t provide any new skills for you to use and ranger skills have poor scaling in general.

  1. A2-R1-Scout1-F3

This is currently the meta world bossing spec, at least for the ones where you compete for cubes. Archer2 R1 Wugu1 Fletcher3 will easily out dps any build in the game provided another wugu doesn’t show up.

  1. A1-QS3-A2-Falconer-Canooner

People usually run Musket in this build because the sole purpose of this build was for Earth Tower, QS3lets you pretty much solo clear Floor 3, Musket’s purpose was to snipe ghosts, and Falconer was to provide additional aoe support

You could potentially run A1 QS3 Rogue1 and it will let you do some silly gimmicks at world bossing.

  1. A1-QS3-F3

This is kind of a hybrid between a farming build and a world bossing build, sadly to say it will not be optimal in either but it is still be above average in both.

You might pull off better DPS on world bosses that fly or move around alot though.

Hi, thank you very much for the awesome reply, i was wondering, do you mind elaborate more on the silly gimmicks thing?thank you very much

I’ve never done it myself but this is my rough understanding of how it works.

You have a party member cast a ground-magic skill like Cure16 or Frost Cloud and you capture it as a rogue. When you reuse the skill again, all the damage from the skill is considered a physical attack, meaning that it can crit and get buffed by Running shot.

So you capture a cure16 skill, when you recast it, it gets converted into a 280% damage cast of the original skill operating off of your Physical Attack, and with sneak hit at level 5 you’ll crit at 70% from behind. This can lead to some insane amounts of burst, more than enough to do 1/6th the health of boss like dullahan (takes 2x damage from cure16) almost instantly.

The biggest problem is that once you cast it, you’re pretty much dry on dps for 3 minutes, so if you miss it or the boss moves out of it, you’re ■■■■■■. Also if any one else reversi’s it, recaptures it, or in anyway nullifies it, you’re pretty much guaranteed no cube.

False.

Any captured magic based skill would still be magic and it would take your stats into account as well as your attributes.

Another thing is Running Shot does not give direct % damage increase. It’s a modifier added on top of your normal attacks.

There is a glitch though on kTOS regarding Cure but I already tested it in-game and it doesn’t work. Oh, and the glitch has no relation with Capture at all.

Hmm, i’ve been fed wrong information then. I was told captured skills all become physical based and that they’re treated as auto-attacks when they deal damage.

There must be some kind of misunderstanding about that Cure bug. This cure bug I’m talking about uses your physical attack and even the damage type of your weapon. Some Ranger C3s abuses this and makes their Cure do ridiculous amount of damage with the help of Steady Aim. I won’t say how to reproduce the glitch though, well since it seems to be fixed already anyways.

If it’s fixed, there’s no point in mentioning it then. Thanks for the info dream.

Ah, I would also like to note something about Reversi.

Capture says it captures enemy spells. Same with Reversi, it flips enemy spells. Capture though has an attribute that makes it possible to capture even allies spells.

So here’s my point. I can’t capture a neutral player’s spell even with it’s attribute learned. Yet reversi can flip a neutral player’s spell even though it has similar concept as Capture.

I already reported this because this is obviously becoming a griefing tool.
