No one really needs skills with that until level 50+. A lot of people use cafrisun+buffs until 120.
Honestly, I didn’t even have Wiz 3, I took linker before so you can’t even imagine my pain, there wasn’t even any pardoner by then as it was the beginning of the Founder’s Open.

I’ll be taking Evil Sacrifice at level 1 and Pole of Agony at level 4. The rest is still ok.
What weapon should I use with this build, staff or rod+ shield?
Rod + Shield or Rod + Dagger, depending on how you feel, squishy without shield or weak without dagger.
Staffs are just not worth it and, even Oktava or Ledas shield can give you more damage while bring shields than wearing a staff.
They seem to become better at Lolopanther so probably going 2H-Staff for Pure DPS will be better with gear after that.
I’m going Rod+Shield, damage from daggers do nothing for Templeshooter and when you are not auto-attacking much anymore the damage upgrade from a dagger is not that much.

Any thoughts on taking something like kino or thaum in place of linker c1? How bad would it be? Would kino help for pvp at all?

sorry can you explain when to use evil sacrifice with that theurge skill? how to use it efficiently ?
i was confused in the early build why you say theurge is good but at same time no 1 point spent getting the evil sacrifice that makes that skill a spamable ranged spell as well.
without it, seems you need to run into a group of link mobs to do damage. otherwise it didn’t seem like it did much else, i could be wrong.
anyway need to update here or people may get the wrong skill xd
Dark Theurge also blocks attacks from enemies so if you already have templeshooter set up on the right place to get aggro it won’t be a problem to use Theurge as an attack.
Evil Sacrifice is good to be used with Invocation, but I’m not really sure if it’s working correctly, the point is you could stand on one of the spirits to improve your sacrifice’s damage.
I haven’t really tested it as I’m still putting levels into Dark Theurge.
Also, Summon Familiar attacks anything you attack, you can use both Magic Missile or Dark Theurge for that.
Kino would be good for PvP but mostly for 1vs1 PvP, Thauma would probably be the same.
The point on linker is that he multiplies single-targeted damage, and this build has a lot of that.
You should also remember Sorc 2 is Kino’s biggest problem, Summons can’t be Raised because they are boss-type so they break any chaneling spells of Kinos without Surespell.

Also additionally for stat attribute allocation for character stats i keep it a 3:1 ratio for INT:CON with 0 SPR.
SPR i get from gear, and the sorc passive skill SPR.

Does it? I haven’t noticed, which is sad because I’ve been a Warlock a while now. I see the balls taking damage but honestly I can’t even tell if anything is prevented. At least anything in a reliable way. I figured the ‘protection’ was simply blowing up mobs in melee. Although I did see once where where a boss hit me and I saw a lot of red number but I took nothing. Maybe because I jumped and the balls still got hit though.
I did notice in the Korea notes that Dark Theurge is getting buffs, hitting several times for each ball now ~huzzah~
I am a lvl 6X Cryo1Kino1 and I cant see how to level with only a lvl 1 Quake aswel lol… Maybe I am justa a badie, idk.
seems that cryomancer + sorc is gaining popularity. i’m also beginning to wonder how that build is compared to yours. seems like they get more stuff as a cryo3 by skipping on c3 wiz, as well as link1. any comments on the pros cons between that build and yours ?
U actually dont take most of the missile hits. If u pay attention, the numbers come up but ur HP does not drop. And this happens even with bosses (e.g Siaulai missions). If i have dark theurge on, Blue Mole spikes actually dont do damage to me, same happens to some AoE nukes from Golem or so.
Dark theurge is a really solid skill for protection, and i use it mostly for it, damage is just a bonus to me when World Bossing or so.
@moises_andre12 Do you think Ignition rod would be good for this build? Should I buy the fire rod at lvl 75?
the ultimate late game build would be something like wiz 3 > link > chrono 3, you’ll have so much utility and damage in r8 9 and 10 it should be illegal.
Really depends on whether 8 offers skills to pair well with quick cast. It might be busted if warlock2 turns out to be the only good choice for builds including wiz3. Support DPS is really fun so I hope they leave us with options.
Your bonfires will last 20 seconds with buffing cast, with 0 SPR. He takes 12 seconds to give all 5 buffs so you only waste 8 seconds if you bonfire every 4 minutes.
With Lv 10 Condensed Potions it is too easy actualy, 30 seconds cooldown means 15% of SP usage from TempleShooter, if you are going low on SP too fast is because you are using pointless skills probably.
I’m going 2:1 INT:CON as a more GvG oriented build but might go further into INT from 230 to 280.
This build only really gets good at end-game, TempleShooter is enough for anything below 200 to be honest but you don’t have many crazy combos to do without Warlock playstyle to combine with both Linker’s and Sorc’s.
Yes it does, I still haven’t really tested it so I can’t confirm what types of damages it blocks but it’s visible that sometimes the spirits take damage and you don’t take any.
As for number of hits, I had 5 at level 1, 10 at level 2 and 15 at level 3, not sure about later levels though but for now I’m 100% sure that’s it.
The balls jump with you so it probably really blocked the damage.
I can’t see how you need skills with Cafrisun + Pardoner’s buffs, it’s pretty cheap, by level 25~30 I already had 30k+ on my alts to buy both the set and the buffs, with Linker you one-shot packs of mobs with auto-attacks.
Psychokino’s biggest weakness for PvP is Sorcerer. Kino 3 generaly only take Cryo 2 so they can take Warlock at their last rank so this build uses 2 great utility classes (Cryo 3 and Sorc 2) and some burst damage from Warlock.
Your Warlock damage won’t be so great without both Quickcast and Links but freezes do a good job of CCing stuff for your summons.
It’s a good build, just has a different purpose.
Yes, Ignition is very good for linkers from what I’ve heard, I haven’t tested it as I just made my Max Petamion but it’s probably the next item I’m going after.
Fire Rod is not THAT good, it’s only material for Ignition so it doesn’t really matter if you buy it now or later.
Depends a lot on R8+ classes, but even Warlock could work out greatly with it.
I think it’s too much pain though, also you might regret it a lot later, you can simply have a chrono in your party for pass so you don’t waste 3 circles of your damage build.
I know another path for Sorcerer is:
Wizard C1 > Cryomancer C3 > Sorcerer C2 > Warlock C1
Compare to that path, what’s the pros and con of your build?

i’m lv 200 now. bon fire regens my sp really fast now. problem is same can’t be said for HP… so when i’m alone without a priest it’s kind of a pain.
As for potion consumption, for world boss hunts when i’m feeling under pressure to get more DPS, i’m pretty much quick cast magic missile x 2, salamion for burn/blind, cats for buffs, Debuffing boss, shield refresh, summon (hold), ride for 1 second to cast rapid fire followed by hold again (or it stops attacking otherwise). I’ll even desperately maybe use bats initially if only cauz it’s not on cooldown to get in some extra dps. Haven’t gotten to warlock yet so haven’t managed to add those new spells into rotation. in the mid to late fight i keep SP usage to quick cast/magic missiles, shield/debuff refresh, and cats refresh when needed. But basically thats my SP usage…

most of it would apply to me as well, but i’m a bit unsure about the rods 
right now i got a tilly rod. i also have a ring rod with higher magic attack but it has no bonus stats… i just bought a khasti recipe cauz it has higher magic attack than the tilly as well as bonus stats.
