also i find gear with SP and sometimes SPR. is that bad? I know i’m not suppose to put any points into attribute for SPR, but what if the gear has that? Is that good or bad :X
It’s not as bad as like avoid it at all costs. It’s just not good, either CON or INT will suit you much better.
For stats: No points in SPR, this is real waste.
For attribute: You can actualy buy Sorcerer’s att for SP regen to use it at bonfires. Right now it takes me Cat Buffing Time + 10 seconds to regen all my SP. I can see this attribute at higher values making it possible to have the same time on buffing and SP regen, which is crazy fast.
What type of armor should I use with these build, saw different opinions about to get cloth or plate. What do you think?
Top, Bottom and Shoes Plate for HP bonus from Attribute, Cloth gloves for magical amplification or plate if you want to close sets or something.
What do u think of wiz-pyro-linker2-sorc2-warlock as alternaive to ur build?
It is always good to see new and interesting builds. The build looks decent and is a decent take on being ‘future proof’. Really anything with Wiz 3 and Linker should be.
I don’t agree with the criticism on Elementalist personally. I genuinely can not think of any class that has more useful skills or scales better than Ele at the moment.
It is just speculation on my part, but I think Rank 8+ will be more niche and situationally useful spells and abilities (ala Rune Caster) and less core single or aoe damage. Mimic, Enchanter, Taoist, Sage, Shadowmancer… just has that ring to it. In that regard I think a pure dps build (like Ele 3) should be set up as with as good of a core as anything.

If they don’t add some major dps skills that replace our current best as tier 1, they’ll have to deviate from the enemy scaling they’ve established up until now. Which is also totally possible. Conversely the tier 1’s we have now could also easily go from core dps to supplemental dps.
For the speculation side of things just keep in mind dps skills are only immune to falling off if what they offer isn’t impacted by diminishing returns. I think thats really all that this side of the discussion is getting at.
I do think they will provide a path for dps at rank 8+, continuing the class paradigms already established. A lot of builds involving wiz3 as strickly dps futureproofing are gambling on that holding true. The rage will be real if it turns out they pulled a 180 in terms of enemy scaling thats for sure haha
I wouldn’t. The SP you lose on Pyro’s skills are not worth the SP when you consider Templeshooter’s damage for 1%SP. He shoots every 2 seconds so 1% SP every 2 seconds of delay means 1% per shoot.
Linker 2 won’t give you much since you have nothing to share, you can take it to be better in parties as a linker 2 but I think if you are already trying to go more supportive you should close Linker 3 and than proceed to Necro > Warlock. Also taking Wiz 2 or Cryo at second rank. This way you could have solid options for Rank 8+ like Wiz 3 or Warlock 2+ or Necro 2 or even Cryo 2+.
Also remeber you are taking 5 different classes in 7 ranks, you have nothing you really shine at.
But in reality I see a lot of those in the game, not sure if it’s good for real at level 200+.
Do you have a recommended stat distribution?
I’m making a similar character on a new server, and I can tell you I’m going to get “enough CON” and so far I’ve only gotten to 160. On that char, a w3ele2, I needed about 40 CON to be fine, and I put the rest into INT. Seems right considering a lot of our skills will be high hit with a 90% multiplier, if I understand the damaged calculations right. And we’ll have pets to eat damage.
summons scale very with INT, so it’s mostly up to what you want to play on.
I’m going to take part in GvGs and some PvP aswell, so I’m going with 100 base CON which and the rest in INT, which is around 2:1 INT:CON, if you want to be more focused on PvE than 3,4 or 5:1 INT:CON will suit you better because INT is much better because of ranks bonus.

The thing about trying to future proof stuff, is that its just a guess… Ele’s damage scales very well with Matk, and Sorc scales with INT. Altough Sorc gets benefits from cards, at the moment its a lot easier to increase you Matk then it is to increase INT. So its very hard to know how both will at rank 10. Maybe INT won’t scale and it won’t do any damage, or maybe there will be an awesome card that is riduculously strong, or maybe sage will increase deployment skills damage makeing Ele 3 the best thing there is, or maybe shadowmancer will increase dark damage and make Warlock the best class ever… No one knows really, we will probably all have to reroll at some point for min/max.
Interesting build however, pretty good DPS alternative.
Actually Pass works on every skill cd of your own. Except for Pass itself. Fireball x4 and flame ground x2 all day~
Really cool? The patch notes read something like “Pass: does not apply to yourself” or sometihng like that, so that’s what I thought it did… Time to make my Full CON Linker 3 / Crono 3 with almost 100% uptime on Lifeline then
The only thing you need to level fast is a pardoner. Once you get mm, you start one shotting tons of mobs

I don’t like the way Pyro fits there.
I thought about doing it with Pyro but I think I would end up like this:
Wiz > Pyro > Linker 3 > Necro > Warlock.
This way I would have a lot of spells that work nicely with linker and would be able to take linker 3 and be the supreme linker.
If you are not taking Linker in the rank of Wiz 3 there’s no point on taking Pyro instead of Wiz 2, it will only make game easier early on and feel like a waste later on.
How do you lvlup while being Wiz1 and Wiz2? Only with Earthquake?
Talk to the adventure journal npc after doing a few areas and bosses to get money to up attributes and buy pardoner buffs
