Tbh you shouldn’t be having that great an increase in ping from east coast to west coast. I’ve played a few games where the server was on the west coast and at most I got an extra 50 ping for a MAX of 90-110 which is a third of what you are worried about. Also people don’t seem to realize servers cost money so they are locating it in a location that is either cost effective or in this case I assume a middle ground for other regions. Being on the east coast because of Europe and such.
I assumed the guy you replied located at Australia/NZ or SEA…that’s a pacific ocean there…
