Linker 2 would be more useful. The thing with Thau. is that their buff is flat and not scale with %. So in later rank it’ll get more and more useless. But go with what’s fun for him though.
yeah I was telling him to go linker2 instead but he insisted that even being flat damage from thaum, if damage was to be multiplied by % from quick cast or other % increasing skill, then it would be a big number too or like multi hit skills he said. idk
If he wants to go thaum instead then let him be 
It’s his character. Let him play what is fun for him xD rather than playing a ‘boring-but-useful’ build. I’ve tried that with cryochrono and it feels like a chore when I’m playing it.
Just give him a example of Link (10 + spiritual link bonus) then,
Compare that to thau. If he still prefers thau 2 then i guess he really likes thau.
Because a link in high levels can technically spread up to 5m damage to 8/9 targets instead of 5 and clear that 8/9 mobs instantly. Every 35 seconds.
The bonus DPS is actually only that that little even as compared to the new buffed thau in ktos.

maybe he just like going thau, I already told him that, he says its overkill with non bosses already with link2, what more to convince him on link 3 lol. I play a linker class too, I do admit that sometimes mobs just melts fast when linked in a party, but I’m going dopple so I want them links as well when doing runs with him. everyone loves a linker ya know
does anybody know if the explosion damage of crossfire can be blocked? it should be different from the first dmg. really courious about.
also would ask to @xHitorix issue of fletcher seem to be relative to be unable to get rogue and WW cards like you did with your QS SW.
So we can assume that a rogue, or a team that allow you 80%+ crit going full str but without a rogue(like zalciai+quicken+ss+monstrance) is mandatory for clear full ET.
Also apart for floor 1 there are many situation in the 40 floors where you need such high block pen?
My old team clear 5F with him, so there is no problem

im going 15f as a wugu3 mergen.
besides that ive passed 5f with only 2 dps : fletcher3 mergen + wugu3 mergen.
suports were diev3 + krivis 3 + cryo/chrono.
its possible, u just need good gears and well upgraded atributes.
My SR never had more dps on 1F than my party’s elememe, even if I only focused the shamans. I’m tempted to say the same happened with our PD that had the same build saintone showed. Physical classes are simply not good for that floor. 6F and above it’s another story though
so only 1st floor require high block pen or there are other dps chek / str chek xD?
yes, archers suffer alot in 1F, but others are pretty easy for archers until 10F.
I did ET 5F with my rank7 Fletcher and 10F With my Mergen without any problems. Have not tried 15F as it has been broken for a while.
The dps check floors are 1F and 6F. If you can do 1F with a min to spare, you will also be able to do 6F in time. It’s only 1F that got the stupid high block rate monsters.

Block pen amount is not an issue for archers at 1F, since their block rate is Fix % rate at around 20%.
proved when my doppel (260 block pen) bypasses their block check while my SR (600+ block pen) keeps getting block by 4/10 rate.
theres a rouge high str build which does pen hogma at 90%. the accurate block pen to get is nearly 930 +
My bet is just ignore it. Since once you pass this stage later there are check points for 1-20
Just ask a ele to carry you for 1-10 service LEL.
Meele block pen for shield type mobs differ extremely which i have no idea why.
The hogma boars with shield have the Quarrel shooter shield-missile defence attribute. I think it multiplies their block (chance) against missile by 4* or something.

a lot of things blocking fletchers out of ET imo is that a majority of them are brainless 9k HP “WB” builds that are made to just burn down dullahan faster or something.
