o_O I run ET daily. Fletcher need a linker/chrono.
Btw, How much block pen considered as enough? 
I’m new to archer, I wanna try ET as archer.
I was magic user, so I have no idea about block/blockpen. My archer is high dex
ignore stage 1, Let wugu or meme/ new upcoming titled PD carry you through it.
You will be fine after that.
in exact block pen you need to pen hogmas is near 1.2k + at 330. I have 800+ and it only hit half the time. Only applies to archer.
Don’t let one stage affect you so much unless you are the only key DPS in your group then RIP.

I ran with 3 healers 1 linker/chrono before. It’s pretty easy.
on 4th floor you can cheese with scout 1 + linker chain
the main key here is having linker in your party to maximize your fletcher damage.

you can survive block checks with high dex? O_o
o_o Easily I have 0 STR invested.
we usually beat 1st floor with 1:15-1:30 left.

Don’t you only have 500-600 block pen only then @_@. Hogma warrior block are irritating.
Or did they lower block pen required already. Unless your linker are doing extreme work in linking them with shamans and throwing them into your aoe @_@
I don’t think so…my point is Linker/chrono is needed if you want to go run with your Fletcher/Mergen.

Still goes back to the question. Archer are pretty handicap first level.
Just let the rest do their work :V. (even PD such as saintone highly invested)

I had a run with a musk/falconer before and 2 healers + Fencer. Still manage to clear it without linker/chrono…just harder. I feel like a good communication is key to a successful ET run.
falconer circling enables fencer to blast everyone @_@…
Coordination needs to be right.
Musk, actually infact all archer suffer this issue except uguushi because uguu is op. Uguu is actually a magic class disguised as physical damage 
We are all at handicap here( the last i pushed it to about 1.1k block pen it was managable 85% hit rate.)…
Well… if higher stages ( 21 + do have block mobs …) i fear for the worse.

Unless IMC do something about STR it’s not worth it at this point. Ofc I have my stats reset ready. But for now High Dex + yellow gems seems to work well for me. I wish STR is more useful though 
because getting STR just for block pen alone while dex has so many benefit is just meh at this point.

If it gives 4 PD or more per point or even better scaling. I think balancing and compensating with gears/gem will be relevant.
Dex now is way too good as there is only limited amount of items/gears to compensate crit rate. Worse of all the power creep per rank just tells us how important it is to land a crit -_-…
Sadly until then (most likely at least 6 mths later) we will see a new meta.
So Hogma’s block are still ridiculous for (high dex) archer O_O
I’ve noticed this problem before (I see many “block” pop-up at 1F).
Our team wanna make 2nd-party for farming purpose (just 5F ofc). With linker1, is it viable to get over those Hogma’s block???

If your linker works extremely hard with a chrono ( linking shamans to the warriors and rounding them up).
Then it will be a Yes.
Or just call in subsidiary DPS point fingers >PD etc.
is it also possible to do it with a linker 1? my friend is working on one and he has a dandel gem so we’d be missing 2 link targets only, since hit counts matters with boss anyways, mobs easily melts with a linker. he’s taking thaum2 for damage buffs, what do you think? or just tell him to make it linker2 instead?
