the point is GTN did it anyway, it was against the rules (debatable, but it was what was decided) and so thereās the disqualification, that they deserved to win or not is not the issue. Afaik someone already did that last fanart festival, which is why the vote-buying rules were set for this one in the first place (there was a case of someone shouting for likes in Silute for some rewards I think?) Anyway, what constitutes as vote-buying was not set very clearly and this is the āgrey areaā Iām talking about, however they already decided this time that GTNās actions are considered as such and will be considered as such in the future. Hopefully they will make it more clear next time, instead of reacting based on what happens

donāt see any rewards for voting there do you? you need to figure out the difference between self promotion and vote-buying. IMC needs to figure this out too and tell everyone having a hard time doing so.
EDIT (since the topic was closed): Personally I did mention that the likes portion of the contest is definitely just that, a popularity contest. If youāre so desperate as an artist to win through likes instead of being chosen by the staff then by all means be salty or better yet try harder at networking. As for staff pick winners, itās subjective just like any other art contest but if they end up selecting winners that are really undeserving then Iām sure the backlash from people will be terrible.

So do you think IMC staff and salty players would allow to promote in a community fan pages of 250k?
I ask like this because what if next time another artist which is similar as gtn shared her post and ask for vote without reward. Donāt you think IMC staff and those salty players will ban her again because being UNFAIR?
Let me know please if you guys promise will allow in future.

The reason why i mention here because I found staff is too easy influenced and frustrated by salty players.
