Even though I’m “male”, I’ll be playing as a female because female characters are cuter. And it’s not in a role-playing sense I just genuinely like playing as a female character.

Ah no. You didn’t offend me, just mistook you with some people above. I just think it’s stupid to judge a person because of their choose of gender in a MMORPG game.
And the word “shemale” can be very offensive and harmful too if being used in wrong places. I am not a “shemale” myself so I don’t feel offended, still it is unreasonable to randomly use that word like that.
