Yes ! I don’t get why people comparing the game with RO saying “RO is considered grindy but it took me 2 weeks to go max levels when according to my calculations, it will take me 50 years to get max level on ToS”. I mean, nobody in their right mind would say that for their first play and without knowledge of the game, they could get max level in 2 weeks in RO.
You shouldn’t don’t underestimate the power of knowledge, even more so when there is so many classes.
ToS is a freaking baby and I’m pretty sure that people will find ways around and get ways to level up faster. For example, I’m pretty sure an organized party with the right synergies could grind in level areas 40 levels higher than their own, we just don’t know how to do it yet.
And maybe it is one of the direction of the high level areas, you can imagine that people are being capped at level 300 and the amount of XP they have to get is surreal, so those player will have to find a way to kill 400 level monsters efficiently. Maybe that’s how the game is meant to be played. But we don’t actually know what the end game is. If you consider that the end game content is at level 500, then heck yeah the EXP rates are too low. If there isn’t much to do at level 500 then you don’t know EXP rates to be too high But you don’t know that, most of us have 5 days beta knowledge (some more with korean beta and compile knowledge from those betas) and don’t see the full scope of the game direction.
Oh and it is still a beta, other XP rates will certainly be tested.
