Dungeon Matchmaking and other nonsense

I’d like to preface that the dungeon matchmaker is a nice addition for the convenience of having a premade party. My only issue with it at the moment is that you really don’t get to decide what kind of party you end up with. You can end up with all DPS, all healers or anything in between. At this current time, trying to enter a dungeon regularly results in a crash. This has YET to be fixed though the situation was much better than it was last weekend where either method of entering did not work.

My ask:

The dungeon matchmaker grants a bonus for anyone who leaves the party. I would be willing to give up that bonus for the ability to add someone back into the instance. I’ve had horrible circumstances where all but myself and another member were left to try and attempt more than half the dungeon by ourselves because others just decided to leave.

tl;dr [Give us the option to replace party members that left regardless of how we entered the dungeon via standard party creation or dungon matchmaking]

As aforementioned, everyone is currently experience crashes when they are attempting to join the dungeon regularly. This is completely unacceptable and I’m surprised a bigger stink hasn’t been made about this. It almost feels like we’re being punished for taking the time to carefully look for players who will be committed to doing the run. The reason why I will always value finding a dungeon members to run with is the same reason I mentioned above, being able to replace people in any situation. I understand not everyone will be able to invest the time or something might come up (life happens). All I’m asking is that you see to it that you fix a core feature of the game.

tl;dr [ Please spend more time working towards a solution to the dungeon entrance crashes (if you aren’t already). As frustrating as it is for you, imagine how it is for the players.

How do you all find the current dungeon matchmaking/party situation in the game? Let me know below.

Aside from that, this is how I find it:

+1 to working on a solution for this, had quite some trouble today and we ended up skipping most of the dungeon monsters and heading straight to the boss to avoid being unnable to complete, at least we had a cleric, a bad one but we had one.

Yeah, maybe if the dungeon finder found people according to their class and not just willing bodies many matches wouldn’t end up with people leaving. Despite that, has the crashes been addressed at all by IMC? I know it’s gotten quieter since the matchmaker started working, but crashing by standard means is a bigger issue than an lackluster matchmaking algorithm.

Another suggestion:

With matchmaking, the party is pretty much made by the server with NO option to replace or kick members. Giving 1 out of 5 stranger the power to kick someone would lead to frustration. So a solution could be:

  1. If a member is leaving or can no longer do the dungeon, a vote should be held to remove that member from the party
  2. If a member has now quit/been removed, any remaining member should have the ability to invite another member.
