If you are asking if being too high of a level lowers your drop rate on lower level monsters, the answer is probably no. You can be any level and get items from a monster. No one has proven that it is lower drop rates.

i sample to find desert Chupacabra Ears 5 hrs, i still can’t see this item T^T

It’s very hard to get. I think the best map is Galeed Plateau.

it is probably approximately 0.1% drop chance, meaning approximately 1 in 1000 mobs.
but that is only approximate. there’s no guarantees that make sure you get one every 1000th mob. it might take you 2000+ mobs… or even 10,000+ mobs if luck is not in your favor.

on the plus side, eventually you will just kill enough mobs to collect enough silver to buy it.

In TOS some of the items has Drop Per Kill mechanics, most of the equpment items use it. I can’t tell how exactly this work but either or you get guaranteed drop after certain amount of kills on particular mob or drop chance is increased after each kill. DPK drops is the ones that have sound effect, after you get DPK drop the DPK counter is reset.

Pseudo rng drop rate? if that exists life would be easier

I think Ramstis Ridge is better.

Yeah, but not all items in TOS follow that mechanics, in example crafting materials use simple RNG.

Thats bull crap. Drop of monster is determined on monster spawn, not on kill. That is why Oracle skills can work at all.

No it’s not, goolgle it. I had lot of research about it. As i said before NOT ALL ITEMS USE DPK SYSTEM.

since you mentioned this it is your responsibility for posting your source. You have to back up your claims, not everyone else have to look it up.

Here sign of it from old patch notes.

First time i’ve heard about DPK is the disscusion about “Double Pay Earn” long time ago, one of the reasons why ppl argue why this skill sucks was DPK, there is many other reasons also.

There are alot of questions:

  • thats is fan site.
  • post date: October 1, 2014
  • rough/unreliable translation of some patch notes of pre-CBT stage of game with lots of assumptions (translator not sure what DPK is as well)

How would Oracle’s Clairvoyance, Reset and Change’s jackpot attribute work with DPK system (as you assume it to be)?

Also Double Pay Earn works perfectly fine and is not affected by any possible “DPK”. People say it sucks because they assumed it increases drop chance when it doubles drop amount. Thaumaturge’s Swell Body works same way (and doesnt stack with Double Pay Earn).

Main reaso why Double Pay Earn sucks a lot is the limit of hits what making it useful only vs GOLD mobs or bosses, but vs bosses it’s extremely hard to make lasthit.

You still can’t understand that DPK affect only particular items, NOT ALL ITEMS. Sound effect = DPK, no sound effect = regular RNG.

There is nothing odd about this system and skills that you mentioned.

Here the guy talking about DPK too:

sound effect = equipment or recipe. Prove me wrong.

P.S. Vubbe fighter blood doesnt make sound when it drops.[quote=“keetsoone, post:20, topic:212605”]

Judging from his description of Swell Body and Double pay earn that guy just blurts things he has no idea about. Because both those skills affect amount of equips dropped (swell body on silver/golden monster = lootxplosion).

Only assumptions.

And what we get? Equipment and Recipe = DPK drops.
