A lot of the useful information put out so far is from him.
The amount of transparency from IMC is pretty bad, so we need to rely on guys like him for the scoop on numbers and whatnot.

Yes, this is a very important thing to note.

The recent kTOS patch that buffs spawns by 30% only increases the amount of monsters generated. The actual spawn timer interval hasnā€™t changed.

So itā€™s still every 2-5 minutes, but slightly more stuff will spawn at those intervals.

Basically, itā€™s not gonna fix the problem at all.

Its easy leveling the first few 1 to 130+ but it gets quite difficult for casuals and people playing solo. AND it might also be difficult for other people to progress because most of the Exp comes from the cards, therefore less mobs to kill = slower time to complete quest = slow leveling.

It makes you wonder if they play the game they make at all >_>

Reducing the server check to 60s for small and medium monsters like it is set on Dina Bee would fix the issue in a ton of places. Not perfect but at least the maps would be populated.

Those saying its easy to level - yeah til 210 its a breeze, you can quest over and ignore the low spawn rate, when you actually need to start grinding, its a nightmare and turns into a channel surfing KS war between partyā€™s to get the scraps of mobs available.

As much as i would like this to get attention, the best way to do it is to have one large heavy activity thread. Those get staff attention even the sadhu thread that has nothing to do with important game changes gets attention just because of its size and activity.

Lets not turn our selves into spam whores like the class reset people.

It was done to slow us down a bit.
As thereā€™s no endgame.

People complained about lack of mobs in icbt2.
And about how tiresome farming silver is except if you use bugged eventsā€¦

1/5 of the prior silver price on sale values now.
8 times higher spawnrate for large mobs.
4 time higher spawnrate for others.

Yeah.

Remember that time when you wiped out a whole group of 20 egnomes at tenet ā€¦ and then they respawned before your cartar stroke was back again from cdā€¦ such sweet dreams.

Now you kill them. Channel switch and hope no one else is there ā€¦ if someone is there, run around and kill a bit northern the small creepy things.
(if youā€™re at that low level and wanna gridn a bit).

Heck.
With the old spawnrates hardcore people would have been 280 waaaaayy to fast. Didnā€™t even held them down 2 or 3 weeks.
Even myself got to 226 in less then a month ā€¦ and im a working adult without holiday time on most of that.

The game progression is still pretty fast.
Sadly it became tree of grinding while channel swapping and hopeing NO ONE ELSE is partying here.

They were okayā€¦ but people complained about the lack of mobsā€¦ guess what IMC did xDā€¦

This needs to be addressed. Grinding feels terrible right now, in way too many maps you spend more time looking for monsters than fighting them.

staff should read this and see what is wrong.

Donā€™t worry you wonā€™t see me making threadsā€¦Iā€™m just tired of this one. Donā€™t understand the devā€™s reasoning at all. And since they never explained it outright, Iā€™m stuck with saying that its quite possibly the worst design choice made in the transition from cbt to early release.

2nd demon prison was perfect in icbt2! It was really fun grinding to rank 6 in there when you failed to plan out your 401k worth of exp cards. But now it looks like someone forgot to pay the rent, cause all the monsters have been evicted lol

Having alot of players on one channel and having a fast monster spawn rate would only cause the channel / server to crashā€¦ thats a limitation of serverside hardware

or actually its the density of monsters is what causes the server to become unstable

Pssh obviously the demon prison is not a logical place to find evil demons, there for IMC had to evict them.

please increase the monster spawn rates! we need this. until this is fixed gameplay is just dead and when F2P comes there will be no where to grind for any of us at higher levels
