Black Desert also failed because of No Man’s Sky style of marketing.
You could see the bullshit from a mile away, let hype unchecked and disaster happens.

Tbh it still doesn’t match the rates you get from Chinese farmers. 10 TP a roll. <5% chance to get something worth 20mil. If you look at the probabilities of what you’re getting.
It’s a legit way to RMT though… Outside of just tokens and buying costumes.
Addition: In that vid the player seemed to get more then their silver’s worth spending 400 TP on those items. I think a sharp devalue in items like blessed shards and Pract could reduce it.
Though, just the silver anvils alone because they’re essentially as good as real silver beats the current(at least shout spammed price) of dollars to silver through blackmarket. That’s not even factoring the value of the cards and everything else.
yeah… but thats not cool =/
well, i’m not playing anymore, at least for now, ill not reroll again lol and i don’t even have time to do 3 dgs everyday =(
so good luck for u ppl o.o
ill check forums from time to time =)
Tokens are definitely not P2W. You do need a token to be competitive, but getting one is very easy for anyone with half a brain. It would be P2W if, for example, you could get more advantages from buying multiple tokens, but the only thing you can stack from them are additional trades. Not exp bonus or market fees. At most, you’re paying idk how many dollars for 1~1.5m minus market fees. How much is that compared to what you’re going to spend in attributes and gear to be a decent player? It’s just a small boost.
Can the game be more F2P friendly? Sure, but it’s not P2W yet (except for companions cough)
I’m talking about buying tokens and then selling them. My definition perhaps an old man definition or an American definition of P2W which is RMT in it’s varied forms.
I think I had a post talking more in depth about my view on this whole situation. And I’ll just link that cause I don’t feel like rewriting.
Well if that reaches us I suppose we wont have bot problems anymore. How could black market compete with that? 4 pract, >6 silver anvils?, a mess of blessed shards, a fat stack of cards, however much random mats. That was 400 TP worth of loot…

Silver will maintain it’s value as long as gacha boxes don’t produce it. The blackmarket isn’t going anywhere.
All that TP worth of loot doesn’t hit the botters in some of their biggest markets, like botted silver (needed for attributes) and botted battle bracelets.
It’ll only hit the botters where it hurts if the package starts including a lot of the product that botters sell. As it is, the package is basically going to make bananas cheap by saturating the market with bananas while botters continue to make a killing selling apples.
Voted “wait to see what happens but probably stay”
Just hope it won’t come to a point where we will need to depend on gacha just to clear content. If that is so I’m definitely leaving the game.
pay to win =/
tos rip
If these come to iTOS?
Short answer: No.
The game is already dead…
huehuehue
RNG Costumes : I can live with it. I don’t like it, but i’m fine with it.
P2W accessories or any kind of P2W items : I’m fûck off outta here.
Bots still compete with players for silver production. And this gacha cube is a great way to access the wealth of other players–items like silver anvils will never lose value. In fact silver anvils in particular will only ever go up in value.
So if this gacha cube RMTs better then blackmarket RMT why use the blackmarket?
Gatcha’s recycle shop offers the jackpot cube that can win 10m silver, whales and ranked guilds will likely have easy access to that with their overflowing TPs.
Wait, what?! Dang, that just makes things worse.
Perhaps they have something else in the works to balance things out, but I doubt they do.
Already left as of a few days ago. Glad I did with everything that seems to be incoming. If things ever improve though (and I mean greatly so) I’d be tempted to come back, I did wait for this game for years…
However, all this bullshit is just unacceptable for myself as a customer and player.
