So we have small, medium and large sizes. Do different attacks have boni or penalties against different sizes? Like dagger attacks do -25% damage to large mobs for example?
Wrong section to ask https://forum.treeofsavior.com/c/boss-monsters
And yes, there are some modifiers about monster size if im not wrong.
@woodynut879 really constructive post. Im amused by your intellect.
Well, it does not refer to mobs exclusive, it also refers to players of different sizes. (and companions and summoned creatures)
Would be interesting to know in what way which attacks are affected.
Take a look here:
Im not sure since i couldnt find any information about it on tossbase, but my guess is on HP pool and/or even armor or elemental resistance increase/decrease.
@tploki1987 it didnt explain a thing except saying smallmedium/large target damage lol, what we are discussing here is what the sizes do, do it increase only damage? Do it increase armor or elemental resistance? Do it increase HP pool?
Damage penalty on size modifier? Hmm, not really.
Damage bonus on size modifier? Yes, Archers’ (Bow and XBow) basically play on this instead of the usual Damage Type vs Armor Type modifier (i.e. Strike vs Plate, Slash vs Cloth, Pierce vs Leather), which is further increased when they upgrade their Bows and XBows. - I need some time to find this source, it’s somewhere in the korean patch translation.
There’s also Hoplite’s Pierce that do more hits depending on enemy size.
Ahhh ok, well if you can provide us that info we would appreciate.
The only thing I’ve seen is specific skills that do more/less to small/large monsters. Mostly this is in the spear skills, which do more damage to larger mobs. Same with spears, most of them have +damage vs medium, and more +damage vs large.
Bows have damage penalty, but the penalty gets reduced while upgrading, up to +10, which I believe nullifies them (20% for medium and 40% for large).
Also, like others said, lances get some bonus damage against medium and large enemies.
So Thaumaturge seems to have synergy with Hoplite, right? Because you can make mobs big for more damage from spears + double EXP/drop.
