Even if we agree on changing INT to give something more, WE MUST remember that those news bonuses should be different for Wizards and Clerics.

Clerics aren’t meant to be your classic spellcaster character lol, the most popular option (mdef penetration) is something we could work for wizards, but for clerics? No way.

The buff is in the INT it self.
Sayng that it should apply only in wizards is the same to say “dex should only give critical chance to archers”.
Maybe, for now, clrerics have the best in groud aoe, and some dots.
But I belive that mages are getting something special in rank9.

Why couldn’t a stat give a special bonus to a specific tree?

More broken necklaces to “fix” the game.

Warlock will get some 100 more base dmg on Dark Surge + more hits with Souls which all deal 1 dmg on new 6k mdef targets without stage 9 transcend at least.
And maybe another skill to support Clerics.

If we consider de PVP scenario, Your 750 mdef pen = your opponent with 0 mdef if he don’t have at least a lionhead shield. Nuaele and other buffs will be useless with 0 mdef at all.

Surely this will call for a nerf and returning to the actual state.

You take PvP too seriously, it’s a complete joke, it needs a total overhaul to be balanced, if anything MDEF pen will make those high base damage classes (cleric) with 4k+ MDEF easier to deal with, and those with less than 1k will still drop like flies as it is right now, also, those are most likely full DPS buids that could 1 shot the wizard, you see, PvP is a matter of who can insta-kill the other first.

How much is 0 + 180%? because this is what your buffs will gives in %.

MDEF pen would apply after all that stuff, obviously…

I think you want mdef pen to act like magic amp/crit atk, then.

No, I’m saying that if a player has 4k MDEF with whatever buffs/gears then it would be 3.25k MDEF.

So what you want is 0,75 mdef pen = 1(INT) mattack even worst…
if 1000 INT = 750mdef pen why not 1750 mattack? lol, all 2 are the same.

That’s no different to the current matk vs mdef then.

I was thinking that whn you say mdef pen you mean penetrate mdef=ignore mdef(%), that can be calculated like crit/eva(of course with caps too).

Maybe they should change: INT, STR giving% to the skill’s flat damage base
Flat defense providing% damage reduction at end
