Only moving mdef pen to mattack.
But I still beting on a 4% boost for INT.

Right, forgot how things are calculated in this game, I thought it’d be better like that because of multipliers like quick cast and the necklaces. Maybe a %MDEF pen per int is the way to go instead of a flat amount. I don’t think matk or mamp (a really bad stat) will do much, the problem with magic dps is high MDEF that just gets higher as the game goes on.
Quite rewarding for full INT path…
Cause that’d be OP stuff.
Mdef is easy to stack now so not that OP.
It would be because you can get over 8k MATK with T10= 11k+ MATK, that’d also make quick cast and necklaces much stronger. I see a % MDEF pen reduction (like 0.03:1INT) more balanced.
Well. IMC quited STR from PVE with this nice ninja patch:

900 acc needed to not miss too much in physical mobs now.
We already have different stats bonus for different classes. Swordsman gets a higher attack bonus from str (x1.3) and higher block penetration (x1.2 iirc). So this is not a new concept.
Wizards could get something from Int and Clerics for SPR (they want to do something with SPR). I just don’t think that clerics should benefit from Int offensive’s capabilities. Not without reworking (aka nerfing to the ground) the entire “magic dps cleric” concept.
I know that, it’s not a new concept.
If they are going to do something for SPR and INT it should apply to both caster tree.
When you say “magic dps cleric” you are talking about a dps caster class build, not a support one.
A (exemple) cleric 2, priest 3, druid 3 is never going to hit more than a Wiz 3, pyro 3, link 2.
Both are casters, and both are dps/support. And each one have it’s own job. Most of cleric tree spells have limit count, terrible for aoe. Yet, wizards have quick cast.
We are only in rank 8 and I belive that mages are getting some nasty skills for rank 9. The only thing that I can say about clerics is that Heal heals too much.
And for SPR, they should let you know how much cc resist you got from it in the status screen, and make it apply bonus to the chance of your spells and debuffs to land in the target.
What I think about mages is that they need more utility for then selves. Mana shield, dispell, cloaking, damage supression, mirror images (clones), and obviously: knock down.
The only mage class that have alot of cc is Kino, and imc did a pig’s job by concentrating tons of broken cc in the hands of one class.
Summonings are in the hands of mage tree too. Best afk farming tool (rolf), and best map/event farm control.
But anyways, all I want is that INT becomes usefull. By adding magic penetration, or apmlification, or doubleing it’s magic attack count. I don’t care, all I want is to IMC work in this game.
And release rank 9 information.
Nothing will hit more than a pyro3linker. The point is that even pure DPS wizard builds, excluding pyro, get outdamaged by those “pure dps cleric builds” (they’re really not, even those have a good chunk of utility), of course cleric should be capable of doing damage, especially classes designed for that like inquis, but I guess the problem is the rank system the game has and that there are no restrictions to it.
Wizards don’t need more utility, that’s the problem with clerics right now, they’re too good at utility and damage.
