@sttr413 All I can say is that it’s full of BUGS. Even if you go invisible the enemy can still see you because the buffs show up. When it comes to the clones they give a big burst damage but sometimes they don’t execute kunai. Mokuton still buggy too, the camera view sometimes is stuck after you teleport. Katon gives you 8 seconds invisibility when you get its attribute. All in all, it’s really cool for PvE atm, in PvP it’s kinda not useful. But when its bugs are fixed it can really be annoying in PvP. Sometimes I can burst hooked players to death with kunai+bunshin combo.

Regarding the murmillo does it have 5 extra skill points?
Also is going for Murmillo worth exchanging with Cor3? I really like the hook and pistol. :open_mouth:

Idk honestly. But I think it will work better than Cor3 for C8. Pistol is good with hook, true. But in time it’s damage will dimenish and you have no jump. Murmillo will give mag resist, jump and more stuns to your disposal.

Yeah it have 4 free points because you cant invest in other skills (they are shield-based ones). You’ll use those at Murmillo c2.

No, first play with what you have now, then make a decision.

Dex+Con is a viable strat too, and generally dex is a bit better for non-hoplites. You’ll have your stat reset ready anyway, so why rush.

guys, anyone I just a bystander who read all this 128 replies and watch all the videos and it is very exciting to read because I am going for corsair too… So instead of going for PVP I am going for PVE with may pal… so my class is
SW>PELT>BARB>BARB>CORSAIR>CORSAIR>?>?, I want to know what stats allocation should I do? Should I invest more dex than str or Vice Versa or Con-dex or Con-str…

especially sir sttr413, you are the professional corsair here in my perspective, but anyone can answer their opinion :smiley:

Note : Im not planning on solo quest I have my brother to help me.

It’s up to you. Corsair c3 makes you a farm machine (with a Pistol :smiley:) but there ain’t many good paths for rank 8 (shinobi and hope they clone new skills?). If you take Fencer, you’ll be one rank behind (Fencer c2 at rank 8) but you get Attaque Coquille which makes Hexen Dropper stronger. Going Dragoon allows you to use spears which are great for bossing but you won’t have Finestra and Spear Lunge to amplify your damage.

Rapier Mastery gives +15% damage to your skills when you’re equipped with a rapier.

Pistol shot is actually Pierce, unlike Schwarter Reiter skills which are Strike.

afaik rapier mastery boosts everything (not just pierce) so that on top of lunge and cleave would actually boost dust devil to decent levels in pve.

You’re probably going to get Matador/shinobi/luchador at R9 or R10 anyway so you’re really just picking it up for rapier mastery, attaque coquille, and the other somewhat decent skills

Be warned that the low durability on rapiers is absolutely infuriating though

Yes, I was going for Fencer before rank 8 came out with the same build @mustdaryl posted. But then I didn’t feel like being behind one rank or just getting one rank in Fencer. I didn’t know Pistol Shot is pierce attack.

I already have crafted 2 Magas Rapier and one Venier Recipe, so I guess I might go Fencer.

Someone knows or have tested if the hexen dropper damage ( 847 at lv10) and pistol shot damage (903 at level 5) will be splited in the number of hits?

In other words, one of the seven hits of hexen dropper will just take 171 for skill damage and then apply our physical attack , properties and other damage sources ( ( 847 / 7 + other damage) x 7) , or each hit will use the 847 damage and then they are going to apply the other damage sources
( ( 847 + other damage) x7)?

This one. The same applies to all multi hit skills.

Then, maybe the path in rank 8 for a corsair c3 isn’t just going murmillo or loose toons of damage, dragoon c1 can provide us a good damage if we have the path of the spear (hoplite).

Also with that, multi hit skills will scale a lot better in late game , so hexen dropper and pistol shoot are hard to be replaced for skills in future ranks.

But after all, i don’t know why the devs don’t show something like damage of the skill x number of hits in the skill description, is to mutch confusing to build something with the information that they are giving to us, and the character reroll is real.

Yup I don’t understand the need to make skill descriptions a riddle that you need to solve either. Some of the swordsman skills you can count the number of hits in the icon. Real charming IMC…

@danielnito007 and @Turbosodomy for your fast reply I appreciate your opinions but I am going for SW>PELT>BARB>BARB>COR>COR>DRAG>DRAG I am not going for the best DPS because if ever I was stuck in TOS atleast I can be flashy as hell ^^… but in the way you exlplain me about corsair, its looks like I will not regret going for c3 because of the pistol thing… Looks Like I am going to Corsair 3>Shinobi or Fencer as your guide to me, it depends on my ability where I Lack so I can fill my it.

BTW what is stats for it? pure dex or pure str or just a classic mixed?
