Tho enemies with block/evasion kinda help with that from time to time.
sttr413 what is your stat distribution for your corsair build ( Iām aiming to go PvP)?
Iām a little bit mad about this game, due to my mistakes in previous corsairās based builds and the actual population. I will really appreciate all information about your corsair build, I still have hope.

UPD. Today something is terribly wrong with the game. FPS was so bad and positioning lags and all that seemed EVEN WORSE than before. WTF. Is it just me?
Iāll do proper vids tmrw (I hope), today is very little good play (only played 4 matches, itās my working day today and I used my ābreakā time lol) and also very bad bugs and etc.
By watching your videos I feel that Iāll start to hate corsairs from now on, but still feel tempted to make a corsair 3 my own.

Pistol Shot is golden. And theyāll buff it with later kToS patches, giving it 2 overcharge and more dmg.
Itās not that āwowā actually. Because of positioning bugs, being stuck in animation, melee, bad hitscan and etc, etc. I was killed today while being stuck in animation lock from two skills in a row.
PvP is about range in this game, and Corsairās only long range skill is hook, which gets countered by magnetic force, frost pillar, dark theurge, pets, caltrops and etc, etcā¦ This character is not super-effective, itās still a swordsman. And btw my attribs are high - 65 pistol shot, 70 hexen, 80 stabbing. Half the people I kill donāt have anything near.
Swordsmen are tempting, somehow. I cant just stop playing swordsman. But I do realize I can probably do more in GvG (to which my guild is aimedā¦ or was, because 2 FPS and 7 am) with some archer if I get the build that far.
Btw, levelling that swordie was a nightmare. I had to kill world bosses for a full month to get those attribs (rising in the middle of night was a normal practice). And nobody wanted me in a party cuz no pelt.
Right now I have no damn idea how to gather that much zeny with the stupid 8-hr debuff.

I donāt care about elitism and I build what I want, as long as I have fun with it. Corsair 3 looks good and game changing in pvp, depending on how well you land your hook. Being able to Long strike while holding the hook is sweet af.
Many players are so obsessed with optimal damage output that they forget that in most cases utility wins against damage.

I got a similar build for my theory shinobi but too lazy to level up one and farming attributes on another char again.
Itās just that in my experience the longer you play a game like this, the more you want to play a comfortable, effective build. Itās not really suited for a lot of āroleplay buildsā, because boring linear quests and maxing a char takes ages.

I want to improve my pvp ranking (nowhere neat top 100 I guessā¦ cant check as its bugged), so Iāll stop recording most of the matches. That means less vids. But at this point Iām actually thinking Iāve started to spend too much time on vids. FPS is much better without, and that means a lot.

Howās it feeling after stat reset?
Well in PvE damage on manticen is like 1000 less per tick on hexen dropper, but also hp 28500 -> 31900. In PvP I miss a bit less, but overall there is not much difference. But I believe the change is for the best.
PS. Expect a few more vids on 14-15.

So today the Mystery Reward Event graced us with a Stat Reset Potion. (If you have not snagged it yet you better do so ASAP) Will there be any tweaks to your current Stats in the future? If so what would it be? As a swordy that has High DEX/CON with high attributes, would the investment in STR be worth it considering that there are gears that can offset itās benefits such as Armor Pen. / Physical Atk.? I dislike how the current game forces us to spread points between 3 stats where others can dump all points in 1. Trying to find a way around by focusing on 2, but itās looking pretty grim. Anyways, great vids as always!

Atm Iām satisfied, will keep this one for the future changes to the game / other chars. Will get it once Iām back from work.
I believe it forces you to choose 2 stats among STR/DEX/CON. It seems IMC wants swordies to focus on either tankiness (CON/DEX) or damage (STR/CON).
One thing has been bugging me for a while. I think restrain actually procs off misses xD And that makes it so opie op for str swordie.
I actually previously thought about Sw2 being a mistake, about peltasta hp bonus and block key and etc, but I now understand that a more agressive playstyle suits me and I wouldnāt have used those features anyway.
I simply canāt wait for restrain buff and concentration buff. And pistol shot buff. Oh yeeeeaaaah.
