The same thing happened with me, in the same boss (Helgasercle - mage tower 5f). Already tried do this quest several times, and always happen the same Error, the game closes, and when i open again i’m dead. Fix this please, i cant advance the sequence of quests because of this bug.

Many of us can’t finish killing most of the bosses, or even progress in quest’s right now.

Same here. I have attempted to kill Gesti at the Chapel over 7 times now with no luck .-. The red balls are evil Q.Q

I am also getting this issue about 5 times already the client crashes with the same error as i’m in the Vieta Gorge trying to complete the “Activate Obelisk” quest with the corrupted tree boss. I am also seeing lag issues even on low settings to see if that helped.

So far not even turning down my settings is working to at least get past this point.

Going into Low Mode and Disabling all graphic settings helps. I still get crashes but not as often.
Edit: So if you combine Disabling Graphic Effects, and when you see the red aura on bosses it means they will shott the bullets, run away from him and dont see him shoot the balls. Helps a lot to avoid crashing

I did as instructed, and omg I finally completed the quest >_< Thanks soooo much!! I would run away to the end of the screen when she shot her balls and it did not mess up @.@

The solution that worked for me was simply turning off FXAA. I tried individually turning off every option, but this is the only one that fixed it for me!

had no problem with solo boss fights or with word bosses but couldn’t do any dungeons cause it was insta crash
