@Altariel I should go try more
@BlueByu The ‘drift’ version is the key. It throws the enemy off where it is going to hit.

Here, see the 2nd cast of merkabah
oh i see, thank you! this will be good for my cleric>Krivis2>paladin3>kabbalist in pvp
Hi,I got a few questions.
Does the reduce level works on pvp and gvg?Does it increase the damage dealt thanks to the level difference?
Reduce level decreases the exp earned?
How is the calculation done? It’s something like a=1,b=2 etc and only uses the last digit?
Reduce Level works on players. Yes it does reduce damage and HP, and increases the damage they take.
Reduce Level has a ‘bug’ where it does reduce the exp gained from mobs, even when the effect wears off.
Calculations differ based on the skill. It’s explained in the section in the overview. Unless you mean how does it calculate the number ‘1’ from a Kepa. That is unknown and no one really seems to care enough to figure out the formula as the current set of skills are… useless.
At Least the Rank 8 preview is soon! Maybe we’ll get some interesting skills
Did some simple testing for Merkabah on small monsters.
Level 5 Merkabah with no additional AOE attack ratio. 4 hits on first wheel.
Level 6 Merkabah with no additional AOE attack ratio. 4 hits on first wheel.
Level 5 Merkabah with +1 AOE attack ratio. 5 hits on first wheel.
Level 6 Merkabah with +1 AOE attack ratio. 5 hits on first wheel.
Seems to me like the number of targets hit is independent of skill level but dependent on AOE attack ratio. Would be great if anyone with a lower level Merkabah or Vubbe Fighter Gloves can confirm this on small targets.
But either way, no, Merkabah definitely does not have infinite AOE attack ratio. This is also why I see each wheel hitting only 2~3 medium sized targets. In other words, with a default AOE attack ratio of 4, this skill is extremely unhelpful against large packs of medium sized monsters (which is 90% of the PvE content in this game) unless you have a Linker or Falconer with you.
Thinking to join Kabbalist bandwagon… Can someone suggest me a good build for Cleric C2 > Priest C3 > Oracle > Kabbalist?
I personality think that Merkabah is like RO’s Meteor Storm or Crazy Vines. You simply hit random targets within its AoE and ratio will affect the target numbers (which in RO it depends on skill levels)
If Merkabah is your only DPS skill then yeah it sucks. I basically can walk then use Monk skills when wheels aiming…
Depends on what you are going for. The build you posted works as a general full support build that works for most of the end game content.
Copy pasted from greyhiem brief translation
Some good stuff for Kabbalist itself but as general Cleric class updates this actually a bit disappointed though. Kabby seems more like Krivis, you can stay C1 if you just want their buffs because their main core before rank 8 revealed is RS and Ein Sof… PD becomes more like C3 or nothing lol…
It will be good if hit math skills also applied to party members (and sick combo with Arde and Sacrament), otherwise it’s really just encourage you to solo and even worse buff than SPR-Blessing. Slower Merkabah and extra buff is nice but it’s slow for party-play, in grinding the mobs will die even before Merkabah ends (you can use other skills though). Not sure if Safety Zone around wheels will be good. Duplicate monster is just more silver farming (probably for Pardoners to add salary lol)…
I don’t think it gives a DoT though. From the gif it seems like as long as the monster first contacted a wheel it will deal damage. After when the monster is within the train, it gets no damage. Look at the mob hp at bottom left.
Hmm… Does the wheel follow behind the caster? Or does it just moves slower to the designated casted location?
Moves slower to designated location.
Why duplicate monsters doesn’t get EXP? It’s not OP if you get more EXP but getting more drops just encourage botters -__-
Doesn’t become a DoT, have reviewed it.
how multihit change work btw? is it really work for all damage? or or physcal attck only? or auto attck only?
cant imagine if this work for all damage source…
So let me get this straight
Merkabah is getting a slow and a defense buff, but says nothing about their ‘life’ having a slow ass merkabah that is still getting shot by every single hit isn’t going to be usefull… plus who walk slowly while xp ? most of the time a chrono speed you up so fast that and nobody will stay near the wheels …
Multihit Chance, ah sounds nice but will it work with skill or only simple attacks ? no use in pvp tho, nobody will ever stay still enough time for you to put gematria + Multihit Chance
Duplicate, oooooh looks nice, can give the kabba a great advantage in team for xp or farming, finally something good … but … but NO FREAKING XP ??? this is an another proof of the ■■■■■■■ laziness of imc, because they’re afraid of botter taking advantage of this they prefer restrain the players and ruining the skill … cause i can already see ‘doesnt work on elite monster’ coming like Change of oracle, making a lot of item farming useless
can some of you convince me that kabba 2 isnt ■■■■ ? i love my char and this r8 is depressing !
plague got a freaking dispell and a poison aoe
every new class is a dps burst
and kabba … well
Here is my take on it. I relink the image
Merkabah
From the image we can see the blue ticans actually hit the wheels, you see a number of red 1 damage floating around. Seems like the defence of the wheels is increased. Really good on that.
Next is the interesting bit, from it it seems like the buff from merkabah actually adds a good bit of damage. 5k auto attack from the sniper? and 1.3k auto from the kabbalist i presume.
Multihit Chance
Not really sold on this either. The main problem is the cooldown and overheat this skill has. If it is on a cooldown of 10-15secs, it will be a good move, if it is 20-40sec+. We can forget about it, not really worth the trouble of expending 2 spells just for a random chance of +1-+9 hits. Nothing is said about whether it affects a single target or can affect multiple targets too.
Mob duplication
This is a rather nice spell for farming. Really great when we need to grind out materials on rare spawns.
For Kabbalist, think of it as a class which has gone towards more support and party than aoe dps. Even if the slow skill adds +10secs to cooldown, it will be easy to maintain that train with a chrono. Just pass and Kabbalist can do it all over again while giving the party a slow mobile safety zone with additional damage buffs.
The only thing i’m curious about is how will IMC implement 10 merkabah wheels. Even with just 6 wheels it is very hard to get the 5th and 6th to hit the target since they spawn so far away.
Ein Sof level 10 is good if you can get max HP x3 and 50 sec duration to 60 sec cool down, it won’t be just being SP battery anymore… Other than that, Kabby is more PvE oriented and can only using RS for PvP defense. I personally say that PD and Kabby are just middle level classes in utility, you can fit any circle since C1 still useful but also nothing to lose if you don’t become any. It only makes clear that your class choices will depend on what you’re focused on (PvE or PvP)…
PD’s Dispell is likely only for 1 target with some cool down and poison is just weak even than Zaibas that Krivis’s skill (only upside is AoE and Energy Blast still doing better)
Overall, we actually don’t know yet how skills worked until skill list and actual class released. They can be good or bad depending on how cool down and other factors.
