I know the method IS outdated. Nowadays you can just tank it normally and AD-HSCR-Ranger the living ■■■■ out of Valk.
Yep, our intent is only to make a example haha. Most of people there played it until renewal hmmm.
Trying to decide between Sadhu and Bokor for a full INT Kabbalist with some STA…of course.
Something like:
Cleric->Cleric->Krivis->Sadhu->Sadhu->Druid->Kabbalist
or
Cleric->Cleric->Bokor->Bokor->Bokor->Druid->Kabbalist
Now Sadhu probably scales up better and Zombies fall of harder later on but don’t particulary like the immobile nature of Sadhu. How do other skills work with OoB? I assume they are being cast in front of the body rather than the spirit.
There will be no problem with bokor if you focus on hexing/effigy, that’s exactly the build I’m going for, minus druid.
With the upcoming buffs to Bokor it might be better to go that route now. Zombies are a little tricky to control, but you can capsule them so you can have them at any time. Bokor also gives you some great self buffs as well.
Sadhu is known to be extremely buggy. I and I didn’t see any buffs for Sadhu that would make it a better pick at this point.
How many points are you putting into Hexing? I’m thinking 1 or 5 at expense of taking only 1 point in Ogouveve.
10 points hexing 15 effigy, the rest is shared fairly for zombies and buffs.
I’m on my way to Kabbalist now as I’m Monk class level 14… Man Alemeth is mean if you’re laggy. It’s basically omg I never get this damage before… It seems RS can help a bit to give damage and extra life at same time lol…
Does Mekkabah cancel fade? I’d really like to know
Yes, only when Merkabah deals damage. Fade falls off if you even deal 1 point of damage to any mob. So you can set up and ride Merkabah while Faded and you won’t pull aggro until the damage is dealt. The only down side is the Wheels themselves actually trigger aggro and they only require 1 hit to be destroyed.
It’s a similar interaction to the Diev statues while under the effect of Fade.
But the statues (not including owl) wont cancel fade, right!? So…damn, kabbalist doesnt seem good for sadhu
Correct. Sadhu isn’t very good with Kabbalist as Sadhu doesn’t burn through SP enough to benefit fully Ein Sof. RS still deals 1 point of damage to you even when it blocks a hit.
I really wonder how Ein Sof in C2 will be or if there is extra attribute to other skills. If the addition is linear, level 10 is max HP +200% w/o attribute and 50 second duration and 60 sec cool down. If you’re Diev or buffed with maxed Chrono you basically will get infinite own self buff that even more powerful than Transpose does (since there is no penalty, at all)
People seems underestimate most existing Kabbalist though or in general how cool down skills. It’s probably out of topic, but Monk’s inch punch and palm strike can be more powerful than Double Punch when you can use it on right moments…
So far I actually admire Kabbalist. It actually teach you how to play the game about timing skills etc. Because Energy Blast can be interrupted, it’s really good combo by using RS then cast EB. If Monk’s team work is best with Cyro or Linker or Chrono oh really Kabbalist makes the party so much fun…
It has a huge aoe, but it definitely does not hit all the enemies in its range. Each wheel hits only about 2~3 targets at random, but no wheel will manage to hit all targets at once. So it effectively has an aoe attack ratio of 2~3 lel.
Edit: My observation was for medium-sized mobs, so the base aoe attack ratio could be higher.
Edit2: Did some testing and each wheel also hits 2~3 small targets randomly. Unless I’m missing something, IMC decided that this skill wasn’t already weak enough and put a hidden target limit on it.
I’ve hit at least 6+ targets with it during the Grinding process. It could be higher levels give a higher AoE Ratio, which would make sense. But I usually use Merkabah under the effect of Divine Might.
Someone should test Merkabah with +Aoe Ratio gear.
I’m quite exited for Merkabah lv 10/11… 10 or 11 wheels rolling around probably looks impressive.
However, i hope that they lower its cooldown somewhat, considering it’s not that powerful compared to Incineration, and add an attribute that the wheels start rolling immediately instead of waiting for 1~2 seconds after spawn before moving. And maybe even add an attribute that makes Merkabah wheels indestructible.
Did you try using it alone without any other people around you? Things get messy in a party. Because i just tested it on small targets and each wheel was able to hit only about 2 or 3 targets.
how do u guys even get the wheels to hit in pvp, it looks hard
the wheel’s Aoe is huge
damage are still meh in pvp tho, i only do it when nothing else is available, to annoy the opposite team
Damage is pretty impressive in PvP if you pump some attributes. I use it mainly as a zoning skill or to get people to scatter so I can plant down statues but when the wheels hit they do about 2.5k+ each.
