Sure, glad my videos are of help to the community :3
More tests on RS on pets, wheels and joint penalty mobs. RS on pets and wheels only return 7x 1 damage back to the monster no matter how much they hit the pet/wheel before RS. It might be the same for Bokor’s Jombies as they are classified as pets category too, only 1 damage x7? Need a Bokor to test but I don’t have any bokor friends.
Sad my dream of using the wheel as a tool to soak damage for RS is gone.
As for joint penalty it returns RS as 7 separate different hits, which is really nice. All monsters linked will take all 7 hits. Sometimes I wonder if linker’s spell spiritual chain is bugged at the moment. My friend who got her class 7 featherfoot reported that some of her buffs also doesn’t work with spiritual chain. If that is so maybe in future Kabbalists can spread Ein Sof via spiritual chain once it is fixed.
was so disappointed with the rs only hitting a few zombies i did not check how much they were reflecting in pve and your right its only 1 damage think its a bug though cause in duels yesterday my pet reflected more than 1 ill check pvp again when ppl log on
also has anyone figured out how to ride merk wont let me >.<
Yes, there is a hard cap of 1 damage for RS reflection from pets/statues/wheels. If you see from the video posted, the plant has a weakness to holy damage. RS reflected from the wheel only amount to 1 damage but not 2 (+100% holy), means the damage is actually capped at 1.
I got to test in a duel both my zombie and my companion were reflecting proper damage in duels and also see my companion reflecting more than 1 in pve sometimes the 1 damage cap seems to be a bug or this wouldn’t happen if your on orsha i can show you Team name is AlexanderS
love it, i have been planning to go with Kabbalist as my R7 for a while now
i was confused with what to take on the R6, but i think i have decided to go with Oracle as i wanted SP support for team mates. ( especially in Earth Tower where fight are intense and SP is really needed )
my plans are Cleric2>Diev3>Oracle>Kabbalist.
can you give me an input on this build? ( this build is in mind for end game pve and gvg also )
and i have other question, if i am to go with Paladin as my R6, ( im full INT build btw with 80 Con )
is it better to leave out Smite 0/5 and take Turn Undead instead, or just take Smite 5/5 anyway? since my STR is only a 9 ?
I’m going a similar build to this. This build looks pretty solid. But you might want to look into picking either Oracle or Kabbalist and then have Krivis thrown in there for Daino. At higher level, theres going to be a lot of buffs going on and Daino is needed to keep all those buff. Oracle and Kabbalist both have SP regen skill so I think it might be better to just have one or the other.
I’m running C2->Diev3->Pally1->Kabbalist INT build. The skills I took are
Smite 5
Restoration 4
Resist Elements 5
Turn Undead 1
Reason being turn undead is really situational. There are a lot of other monsters which turn undead doesn’t work on while smite can hit every monster.
At our low strength, smite still deals quite a bit of damage. It clocks around 1.3k on normal monsters and around 5k+ damage on monsters weak to holy. This is on monsters around the same level as me (currently 229). One of the really good points for smite is it has a cooldown of only 9 seconds compared to turn undead which is 70 secs.
From what I can tell you have these things working for you…
Ein Sof, Arcane Energy, and Zemyna for SP support
Carve Owl & Merkabah for AoE Magical Damage
Counter Spell for PvP/GvG
Safety Wall & Ausrine for Damage negation
Forecasting for dodging
Paladin is a very nice option for this build as the Restoration Aura increases SP regeneration versus Oracle’s Arcane Energy, which just increases Maximum SP. Resist Elements is nice because it reduces elemental damage and occasionally negates it. Paladin is will grant you more protection for GvG and Earth Tower.
Oracle is a great option, but a lot of their support is just making it easier for your team to avoid damage/keep themselves alive. So it’s good if you have a pre-made 5-man who understands how you are supporting them.
Refer to @_Nekorin’s Post for Paladin1
@satomitakashi
For this build Diano is not needed. The only buffs that actually affect buff count for this build are Divine Might, Arcane Energy, RS, & Ein Sof. Everything else in this build is an “Aura”/ Passive Effect which goes on the second buff bar.
Generally, it’s a very VERY bad idea to go Krivis1 just for Diano. This thought is consistent across the Cleric Forum for most guides. The reason being, once more Ranks unlock this will put you at disadvantage as you spent an entire Rank on a single ability. Also chances are you won’t run into the buff limit unless you have a Priest3 with Chrono on your team for Earth Tower. (which is the focus of @FojuKaisiepo’s build)
I am also planning to create a Kabbalist, and as already have a Diev I intend not create another, I’ve been thinking about getting paladin, what you guys think about it?
Well Cleric 3 is kinda overkill. You could drop that down to Cleric 2 and take something else in its place. I’m a bit on the fence about Paladin 3 and the build in general. But that’s mostly because I’m not exactly sure how INT fairs with Paladin when you have very few Magical Attack (or offensive abilities in general). Kabbalist has a Magical Attack with Merkabah, but it’s not the most reliable ability. I also don’t know how you are going to level this build as you have almost 0 Damage for the early stages. Paladin will get you Smite, but even then it looks rough to level.
Blessing, Yes. It does apply on each RS tick individually but it’s all still flat damage together. So for example you negate 100 damage…
(100+Blessing+Properities that apply to Ability Damage) x 7 Hits
But the Flat Damage Increase really isn’t noticeable since Monster have so much damn HP in the 200+ areas. Bosses at the higher end will have more Multi-hit moves as well, so you negate the first hit but still eat the other 4 hits of an ability. RS is nice, it has saved me from 1-shots, but it really isn’t worth trying to pump damage into it.
Just reading the skill there is no possibility of it overriding the 1 Hit. RS automatically turns drops after you’ve reflected damage. Melstis extends the Duration of buffs. You can’t extend the duration of a Buff that doesn’t exist. it’d be cool, but it doesn’t work that way.
If you are looking into only PvE and maybe some Earth Tower. Both Full Support Builds & DievPallyKabb are probably what you want to lean towards.
The difference between the first two Full Support builds are Chaplain and Oracle/Paladin (I know it’s not in the guide). Priest 3 gets you a well rounded set of support abilities and Revive and Mass Heal which is nice. Chaplain is useful for Soloing, it makes killing things not as Painfully Slow. Oracle/Paladin version is nice with a Buddy, they can kill things and you can buff them up. SPR:INT:CON is a good spread since Priest & Chaplain scale off of SPR & INT nicely.
DievPallyKabb is a great option as well as the Statues both support and debuff. Your damage is also great with points into Carve Attack and Carve Owl, so you can do fairly great damage. You also get the a SP synergy with Zemyna (SP cost reduce and reduced Recovery Time), Paladin Restoration (increase SP Recovery), and Ein Sof (SP full heal on a single person). Which in the end game of Warlocks, Fletchers, Cannoneers, etc. Is extremely valuable since you are a walking SP fountain. You can get away with a INT:CON stat array as you will have multiple ways of restoring SP.
