Have you seen the blood curse + blood sucking video I tagged you before? It seems that the heal from blood curse isn’t that bad after all. Have you found any info regarding blood curse + blood bath?

IMO,
Blood Sucking is supposed to be dps skill,

on a normal geared, corona rod+0,
lv5 Blood Sucking + Full Buff, 5k x 19 hit = 95k
heal by 30%, 5k x 30% = 1.5k / hit-mons

u got a vampire mini-aoe frost cloud.

if u gonna make combo with frost pillar, i don’t think if bloodsuck is matching with frost pillar mechanism.

low aoe range <-> rounded crowd control
channeled skill <-> 1% freezing chance, it’d be easily for mobs to break your channel.
high SP cost <-> rounded crowd is bigger than BS hitbox, just half of it.

by 1 hit, u need to wait another 40s and lose the chance to heal atm.

but if you just going pillar and blow, make sure u don’t instant kill the mobs, so u can heal yourself.

Guess i’ll keep the plan being Wiz2-Cryo3-link1-FF2 then.

On normal condition, I would never use blood sucking as dps skill due to the sp constraint.
if i perform full channeling for 10 sec (lv5), it’ll cost me 77 sp x 25 hit = 1925 sp, which is almost 4/5 of my max sp pool. Even lv 10 pot won’t save me (not to mention the cost of other skills such as jp/hk/whatever else), which is why i almost never use it except i need to heal up or there’s lack of dps’er on my party.

You only ever need to channel it fully on boss fights since it is your main damaging skill but for mobs link combos are usually enough.

Just found about this recently. You can chug a potion while channeling blood sucking. The channel would still go on even if the animation isn’t there anymore. Very effective if you wanted to sustain your SP for full channeling.

I dont know what this guy does to heal so much, as awesome heal without blood curse.

Isn’t it simply because she’s using thaum? with that much conversion, it’s perfectly normal to get that much healing from blood sucking.

Each 100 CON = +10% HP recovery from all sources, each 100 SPR = +10% SP recovery from all sources. Tranpose INT->CON is a huge boost in recovery effects.

Lol thanks! I did not know that CON actually affects the healing received… Guess it is case closed for Blood Curse’s heal in the previous video too.

okay, lets assume that he had 900 con with swell brain and transpose, so he gets 90% recovery bonus. Also he has 5℅ recovery from ff atribute.
3800*.55 = 2145 + bonuses 2145*(.9+.05)=2037
Giving a total of a 4142 heal per hit. As you can see the numbers dont match yet.

Blood curse have nothing to do with that bloodsucking heals.

That aside, curse’s healing is terrible. it’s like 5% or so for every hit you make.

see at 00:50 onward, she desperately hit stuff while blood curse is on.

Well sure, if you can dish 100k or so damage before it expires, it can heal you for 5k-ish hp.
It’s probably good for damage dealer on their burst primetime, but for featherfoot herself, i don’t think you can rely on it

If you want to analyze that video then:

  1. she’s using blood sucking lv 11 which heals you for 60% because she snuck divine might before the video began.

  2. she’s lv 317, if i’m assuming that she’s full int thaum and doing all the quest up until iToS’s standard, then she’ll have 316 stat point + 35 extra from quest, put all of them to int and you’ll get 804 int.

  3. swell brain with maximum attribute will give you 145 int.

this will give you a grand total of at least 804+ 145 = 949 int.
Keep in mind this calculation still haven’t counting her equips, cards, new stat quest in ktos, and i’m also not sure whether divine might on swell brain lv5 can change it to lv 6 for 5 more int.

On the video, she does 3978 damage and the actual healing given is 2387, which is 60% of damage dealt (rounded) [see point 1].

for the multiplier, Including ff’s attribute then you will get 2387 * (0.949+0.05) = 2384.613 extra healing.
(the calculation might be incorrect for attribute multiplication, but it’ll roughly get the similar numbers in within 100 point range)

2387+2384 = 4771, which is only a little bit less than her healing (4850), this is probably due to either blood sucking attribute (1 hp/attr) or some extra gear/card/quest stat, i can only speculate on this one since she didn’t show her setup.

Well we got baffled first because the we didn’t know about CON affecting all the healing recevied. Anyway, I asked the video creator and got a response. lol

So,
I have a W3 - Link1 - Thaum1 - ??? problem

Initially I wanted to get necro on rank 6 for FC/FH and decays
then came the link bug, and JP became meta
now link will be nerfed back to normal

is it worth keeping link 1?
or should I go link 2 if I want to solo level later?

is necro 1 even relevant later? could thau 2 be a better option?

Guys, do you really think that Intasurta Gloves came with the last update? I didn’t saw anyone yet.

guys…with the recent nerf come from linker…which i dont really understand but someone from the forum said that AOE damage only hit 1 target and then share the damage with some additional damage…

here is the post from another thread

"From what I understand, it will only hit the initial target with an AOE.

If you link 5 mobs and your AOE damage is 1,000 on each. It will only affect one of the linked targets which adds an additional 1,000 damage to 5 mobs only.

Total damage on each mobs per tick BEFORE nerf: 5,000
Total damage on each mobs per tick AFTER nerf: 2,000"

if its true…isnt it much better if we just go wiz3 thaum3 ff? that swell brain is too sweet to be skipped @_@

It did. Drop from 240 dungeon. Scroll up a bit in this thread someone got it. I am trying to farm it as well still no luck. Lol

Joint penalty has always worked like that before the repository merge. If you were playong linker before, then there shouldn’t be any issue in playing it after they reverse the changes.

Link 2 would be easier if you wanted to solo level later. Thaum 2 for reversi then necro for decay stacking and burst. The choice is always yours.

i havent played it actually since my main is cleric haha…
im still confuse how joint penalty works…
lets say with snipe…deal 1 mobs (not linked) 10k damage…
and then 5 mobs linked…and then 1 mobs got snipe…how much the damage got shared?is it 10k to each or 2k each mobs+ additional damage?
and how much is the additional damage?

and…i have question…is wiz3 kino3 ff2 better at pvp than wiz3 link2 thaum1 / thaum3 ff2?

is swellbrain int will got bonus from class rank and bonus stats point?
