Miritis helm looks very dragoon but its expensive
Depends. Hop c2 give u more finestra but less skill rotation while goon has more skills to spam.
Frankly speaking once u reach lv200+ your class doesnāt matter for a swordsman as long if u have pelt and cata3 is a bonus for team play
A question for does who went with cata 3 without peltasta:
How is finding partys after lvl 220 ?
Iāve heard groups donāt ask for peltasta if you are cata 3, because trot 15 letās you mob fast as well.
for those who have experienced tanking at higher levels, how much is your con?
If the priority is damage, DGoon skills, or the rank 7 class DGoon should not be set aside.
The skills provided by the DGoon class provide burst damage that cannot be duplicated by Cata 3 skills.
With the corresponding attribute levels, they will allow solo grinding at Alemeth. DGoon skills allow me to kill Truffle mobs in less than 10 secs. I cannot do that with just Cata 3 skills, even on the same character, with the same attribute levels.

Earth wave 3 has a 2.65x modifier (additively stacks with 2h Spears 10% modifier). Unless the scaling changes per level (unlikely) it should hold true for Earth Wave in general.

I as well am aiming in the dark, getting SW2 Hop1 Cata3 and Dragoon thinking about mobility and AoE on future GvGs. I do know the game will be balanced, itās such a young game yet, gotta improve a lot, so I believe going for an approach without peltasta will be the best thing to do here, I do know that 40% from restrain is way more than 20% when you think about the swordie C3 as well, but I would be missing a great AoE range and block from the lvl 5 Finestra. Well, what do you guys think?
Anyone tried Cata3>Doppel and compared with Dragoon?
dragoon better pve: dragoon skills lack range, and got drastic reduction in power for pvp (still canāt believe they make gae bolg do 1/3 normal dmg, wtf), so u will almost never use them compared to cata skills; if u do, they probably miss or did ā ā ā ā dmg.
doppel better pvp: cyclone is a headache in mission when u try to kill two bosses at once, since pet is so under level, boss will 1 shot the pet when u get off. With two bosses, there is very little time when neither boss attack. So u basically canāt cyclone. double pay earn is awesome though.

which part? dragoon gae bolg 1/3 dmg? I tested it with someone myself.
i was lv200ish back then, a lv250+ dragoon lv1 gae bolg me in duel. Did around 900 or less dmg (with all self buff), and i was wearing robe. He had demonic pike or something if i remember. He had about 800~900 atk i think? and i had like 200ish def. I think he was a hop/dopel/goon but cant remember exactly. no mount for sure.

When we finished testing, we dueled, and my cata beat him with rush lock. He try dragoon skills, but cata is just too fast and too long reach.
It is possible all skills are 1/3 in pvp, but i havent thoroughly test that to say. However, that only make multi hit skills even stronger, like cyclone and rush. While gae bolg 1 hit skills completely worthless.
Gae Bolgās about its debuff, its own damage isnāt the focus of the skill.
Are you talking about the Debuff doing less?
if it actually do full damage, gae bolg would have been better. I was hoping like 10 dragoons can throw gae bolg at once and kill a group at rangeā¦ but nope.
as for the debuff, i honestly didnt even notice the difference =/
but regardless, dragoon skills is not reliable in pvp.
good pve class still though. Almost a must for hop3 imo.
Recent Ktos video here shows dragoon have many combos that can 1 shot enemies.
