Cannoner skills not switching back to shield

ince the last update, every time I use a cannoner skill equipped with the shield, instead of using the skill and return to the shield, the cannon is equipped and I have to change the shield again manually, this was intentional in the Update or is it really a bug ??
If it is intentional … I see no reason to do something like that, besides boring, it takes a long time to go back to the shield, I have to push the switch button 3 times until I can equip the shield again -_-

Has this issue been resolved? I am also having this problem. Any way to fix this? I would like my shield equipped after using a Cannoneer Skill.

It’s still bugged. A workaround you can use is to go into bazooka mode every time you login or move to a map. That should temporarily fix the issue until you move to a new map.

Yep bug seems to be tied to kneeling shot / bazooka. I just kneel and weapon swap and it fixes it.
