Can STR rogue1 has 100% crit chance at lv 330?

diehardlanzer, please dont derail my topic. Thank you

Definitely high str rogue can get 100% crit rate at max level.
You get your crit chance on sneak hit.
The missing crit chance you are able to supplement through items + your archer 2 swift step.

Yes, that’s with karacha and 70% (iirc) attributes. He didn’t particularly love his choice of going hacka so he’s been using other master race clerics instead though

/End of derail?

160k dmg with 2 overheat means the total dmg is 320k right?

:sob:

Yes. He told me each “hit” of backstab was 80k so it’d be 160k per cast and 320k if you spam the key twice. I forgot to mention a big thing that I just remembered. That was with armor advantage so without it instead of 320k it’s something around 200-210k.

Not game breaking but it’s rank 7 damage

interesting thread. bumping up since i’m on the edge of going full STR with 8 wolves on my pocket. patiently waiting for that STR revamp or whenever it should come.

For Str rogue, I recommand gladi or phada (2x gladi and sissel owner here with a 330 A1Rogue1 Ranger 3 SR3).

Rogue is nice, hipster, off meta.

No dodge and no glassmole allowed.

It’s fun and dishes better DPS in random set up, not worth it if you do play with meltis.

You basically give up dodge and card slots to be at maximum DPS solo and without buff. You give up to any buff potential and glass mole. Depends on which type of player you are.

Also on rogue I do suggest yellow gem on top and bottom for pdef stacking over standard red gem (better survability overall, imo at least).

My stat is 31 con rest str, 3/4 virtov plate and roxana gloves for +1atk ratio, jewels 2x gladi and max peta (if u are into switches go sissel only on bosses)

the MAIN iussue of this type of build is that you are totally screwed WITHOUT 8x werewolves lvl 10 (easier sad then done) so IMO it can interest just few players: if you are into an HC guild with boss timers and pve andgame you are gonna pick A2 probably, if you are a casual you shouldnt pick a build that DEMAND card capped to work, so the whole concept of rogue 1 as a filler is kinda bad, my just 2 cents, even if you can still find crazy ppl like me who rolled it.

Werewolf cards are dumb.
The deal with rogue is that it deals damage based on enemy position. Which is good for Bosses, and sneak hits.
If all you do is grab werewolf cards to throw in Sneak Hit, why even bother.
You’re missing out on Glass Moles, Nuales, you know cards that really matter.
Rogue 1 can easily get 100% Crit chance From the Back.
With Werewolf cards however it’ll never be 100% Because Werewolf itself can’t proc 100% of the time.

The big difference is gear.

You proc 80% of the time with 0 crit rate and dex.

You can build headslot with critatk, wear gladiators in rings (which are amazing on something like SR) and hit like a truck all day long. Not having to be worried about crit rate is a huge benefit of this build, and WW are the ONLY reason to pick rogue1 as a filler.

Good luck positioning a SR behind with retreat shot on while u have to hit 15 mobs at once LOL

A normal archer to beat that needs glass mole up, couz without glassmole rogue dishes way too much damage on top off 800 phisical atk for free from your STR and better rings (phada and gladi are better DPS rings if you have an hardcap on critrate). With glass mole and buffs, as I sad, rogue1 lag behind and that’s the big hole of the build as a filler.

Also, remember that soloing with a rogue is hard due to no dodge whatsoever.

If you are a true min maxer go Archer2 for 5man contest since you will have meltis, monstrance, haste etc. If you are casual go Archer2 couz it’s way too hard for most people to have 8x lvl 10 cards fast enough. If you are in the middle consider it. As I said, it’s kinda of strange filler.

Rogue offers a lot but also demands a lot and, in the end, most of the player base will gain more from archer2 due to hardcore setup /easier casual utility rather then from rogue, just my 2cents after having played a lot with the classs.

IMHO, werewolf cards need to give its bonus all in 1 card to open up more combos. In fact, I think the other trash cards need to follow this design in that they alter class skills in some way but only need 1 card slot to do so.

After all this said though, OP might want to research the ways to forever screw your build over by unintentionally disabling your werewolf cards.

  1. Dagger mastery: sudden attack “can” disable them forever. Some people don’t experience this. I did. Had to reroll.
  2. Karacha set disables them while you have them equiped. 1/2 pcs won’t, equipping both will.

These are the 2 ways I know off.

Not having nuaeles is a mistake. Once you’ve had over 1k mdef you’ll realize how easier life can be and how lazy you can be to cast all your rotations

Guhehe.

Pity archers are unable to use shiny shields except QS.

can a mergen/2h bow user has 1k mdef without the help of shield?

+10 transcend stage 7 accessories / + head gear with 110 mdef.

oh right, totally forgot 110 mdef in HC

Your base mdef is (Level / 2) + (SPR / 5). So at 330 with no points invested into SPR, it’s 165. You could add just one point into SPR to make that 166. Not that it would change much though

Let’s check how it’d go with regular end game gear (no dhrag or lolo, just 170 gear). For example, sissels+6, max Peta+3, wind runner with 3 5* blue gems and 10 nuaeles. Add armor enchants (not sure how much it costs in other servers but they go for 4k in Orsha so I always get them) and you have, at level 330:

(166 + 105 *2 + 82 + 50 *3 + 14/5 (the bonus of the max peta)) *1.9 =
610.8 * 1.9 = 1160.52

If you also had 200 mdef between all your head gears, that’d be

(610.8 + 200) *1.9 =
810.8 *1.9 = 1540.52

If you’re also a hacka and had the 315 purple sword, that’d be

(810.8 + 330) *1.9 =
1140.8 *1.9 = 2167.52

If you got dhrag bracelets/necklace and maybe cloth gear, those numbers get even higher. I take survivability over damage any time

Only in r8 map right?

I’ve been waiting patiently for the rank defense bonus update though.
People shouldn’t rely on Nuelle x 5+ just to play r8 contents

More than relying, it’s a lazy way to tank anything. If you like the thrill of dying, sure. Go for more damage. I just prefer being able to face-tank everything and simply hate glass moles

There’s nothing you can do if you don’t have Nuelle Cards and the main quests ask you to combat 8 mages in an enclosed area with no cover

Sigh, undodgable, homing , range, 100% hit rate 4k+ damage mages suck. This game has the worst mechanic when it comes to magic. No dodge bottom, can’t dodge spell, can’t do anything other than taking the hit. It’s as if the game is laughing at you for not playing a Warrior/ Cleric/ Sage for their easy-mode face-tank, with 300+ mdef shield, invulnerable, projectile immune, etc etc. (Not to mention swordy has their exclusive high mdef shoe, high con glove that no other class can wear)

Archer class was the most expensive class to play now, and even more so in r8 map because it requires better gears and Nuelle x 5+ just to survive.
