I think for Dragoon, thanks to Dethrone, if it crits, the damage is quite high, so it is not that useless on a STR or STR mix build.
I was lazy and put just Lv 5 ones, If I leveled both to Lv6, Didel would surely outdamage the dagger.
The advantages of Physical Attack is - it goes into the formula of Critical Damage, while Elemental Attack does not, it comes after the critical Damage calculation.
PAtk can be mitigated by enemy defense, but Elemental Property can also be resisted both by elemental resistance and elemental type compatibility.
As for Pierce - on this new Patch, something good happened, and I hope it isnât a bug.
Now, Pierce is cancellable!! This is awesome, at least for me. However itâs cancel mechanics is quite different than the usual cancel methods, to cancel Pierce, you have to cast another skill right after Pierce connects an enemy.
For example, iâm casting Pierce and Stabbing Right away, they seem to be just a single skill altogheter, so, Pierce might be a good filler skill to use with 2 Hand Spear against bosses.
But, you canât cancel Pierce by walking neither jumping, and it needs to connect a target, if not, even making an input for another skill, it will not cancel.
Synchro Thrust Pierce attribute is quite good, I would recommend you to max it. The only scenario it would not be worth is when youâre facing Plate Monsters, because the Strike damage of shield would deal additional damage. However, if you put a Spear lunge before it, it will be more woth even against Plate. Remember - you can turn it on off, so you might do your own testing and find when it is good to be on or off.
Glass Mole cards are more effective with STR builds since it works based on our main Attack value.
However it is still worth to be used on Dex builds like mine. The main drawback of Glass Mole is the short duration of the buff, you must be really precise when to use it an secure that you will not be knocked down/back.
Also, to make full potential of Glass Mole, you should get lots of Varnalesa, since it procs Glass Mole and itâs cooldown is just 15 seconds (instead of 30 seconds from SP potions).
Varnalesa drop rate is quite low, 2.5%.
Elle will surely be more suitable for Dex builds, since it will pump even more Critical Rate, Accuracy and, the most important stat for Dex Build - Dodge rate.
I dont know if a mix is still worth, because iâm with just with 2 Glass Mole currently, one at LV 10, other at 6.
