Its a hidden book that appears some times. Seems to be time related. I did it once.

oh ok, I could swear I had that area on my map cause I did the hidden desk quest there. But it seems I dont have it either.
There are other hidden parts on other maps like that too, parts noone can enter.

I managed to get the quest from the Thaumaturge Master afterwards.

after the time limit it disappear. map vieta gorge
so i dont know how it trigger either kill enough mobs or afk near the pillar
If you kill enough mobs you’ll receive a buff for 6 minutes that boosts your “bravery” and something else not stat-related. After that it stops accepting souls.
Similar crystal in Zachariel Crossroads summons a lot of monsters if you fill it with souls (It says something like “Monsters feel the danger and rush in”).
not sure if its useful for anything tho.
So did anyone ever find out what to do with that potato dumpling in crystal mines 2? or did everyone just vomit it up to the point it says you’ll never try it again? Might be related to diary(1) which mentions potato dumplings.
About Ramstis Ridge: i have seen “Errand Man” npc. He appears on lower right platform (not the one with exit to another location). But he didnt give me the quest probably because i was underleveled at that point.
Edit: typing numbers in normal chat in the order they appear on papers does nothing to that NPC.
Edit2: he disappeared at 8 AM server time.

@bigtimbo i actually tried it until the screen went black and… nothing… i even tried reading the books there nothing worth lol
So basically there are certain times this secrets appear. Hmmm…

About those pillars of space, I couldnt trigger anything with them either. Just finished my quest lines there and now I’m worried I’m missing a few exp cards.

A Hidden Quest is actually determined by their rewards.
In most cases, those that are NOT EXP Cards.
Most of the time, they also require other quests to be done beforehand, or have a certain number of items in your inventory. Some even go as far as having its NPC show up in specific hours only.

I went there just to do simple quest , for me it was a monster that was like a frog, i talk he didnt do nothing, then i spam enter and he summon a boss , =D i got my pink hair , o/ ( i havent finish all the quest in the map when he appear ) was on way of one of the firsts quests
