Gotcha, appreciate it
I don’t think I said that anywhere. The only thing Druid C1 has over Miko C1 is Telepath, which doesn’t outweigh the Miko skill repertoire.
Guide updated with a few things. Most notably the Miko R6 selection. Please reference the change log at the top of the opening post. PvE/ET and PvP strategies in writing coming at a later update (maybe today).
Edit: This is also a cool note that should be relevant to anyone leveling this up. A recent change was made to kTOS that made Carve have true AoE, instead of being pure single target. It is affected by AoE attack ratio and has a fairly small hitbox. Small victories, right?
Thanks @Veritas , my scout3 is all good now at farming dungeons, great to see a guide from you at the cleric thread since i’m planning on making one lol
@Veritas
If by any chance IMC would give out a one time circle reset (one can only hope
); would you be inclined to replace Druid c1 for Miko c1?
The skill set looks really great! But rerolling and therefor wasting all those silvers spent in attributes is just not doable
It is worth it if they ever decided to allow that. I would change, despite 80% Carnivory at this moment.
Ah I think the same. I meant rerolling the whole character
Let’s keep our fingers crossed then and hope they will give one circle reset in the nearby future.
By the way; thanks again for all your effort in this thread. It has helped tremendously! Keep it up with your posts. They are much appreciated!
Is it better to move all skill from zemyna to carve? Coz i dont think zemyna is usefull and better than carve
I like having it at least the same duration at Laima to have both up.
I may be switching back to a higher Carve with R8 since I’m switching to mace instead of rod, and also with the buff to Carve. But for now the only purpose it serves is multi-hit against structures.
hmm im confuse with rank 8 coming, is it better to use super corona rod +10 or catacomb club? coz im afraid it will be changed and already invest alr to that weapon like until poten 0 lol… what do you think?
If you can only pick between those two, Superior Corona Rod is better. But there are better rod weapons right now, and overall higher tier better weapons in rank 8.
Catacombs Club is never the better option unless you cannot reinforce, which wouldn’t make much sense.
It seems that Black Death Steam (new name for Plague Vapors) can be cured with antidote, which is a major bummer. Just tried it out on a guildie.
Edit; they should give antidote a cd (like hp/sp pots).
Hello @Veritas!
Thank you for this guide and the Earth Tower Handbook!
Is Cleric 2 Diev 3 Miko Priest 2 a good build?
I have no interest in dealing damage myself, I only want to heal, protect, ressurect and enhance the dps of the group. I have no interest in PvP. Is going completly full support like this a bad idea? Is it better to contribute to party damage?
I have no experience with ET whatsoever, my reasoning behind each choice:
Cleric 2: 10 heal tiles, a lot of safety zone blocks, divine might.
Diev 3: CD reduction, silence, Ausrine.
Miko: Costume. Clap. I love mikos and want to dance.
Priest 2: I really really want ressurection and revive, but most people tell me going priest 2 at ranks 7 and 8 is dumb, but rank 7 and 8 choices are more damage oriented and I feel like priest brings a lot to the table.
My objective with this build is clearing whatever is the hardest pve content the game has, aka ET if I’m not mistaken. I love being a healer and support but I don’t want to commit a lot of my time in this build if I’m not 100% sure its good.
Please give me your opinion, and thank you for your time!
@ontherox11 - It’s great in PvE, and in PvP people have slow as snails reaction times to remove it. It gives you a chance to land Incineration.
@Cepphei - I see nothing wrong with this as a full support build. You are admittedly giving up a great deal of damage, but FS builds don’t deal damage anyways. I like what you’ve made more than what I see from most builds, however it lacking status resistance is a bit of a pain, especially if you ever want to PvP. In this regard, it’s better to drop a rank of Priest for something like a rank of Oracle.
@all
It’s the end of day one! We’ve been working really hard in preparation leading up to rank eight, and even though many things are broken, we made it rather far.
We cleared all the maps out, all the way to the final 327 map, however missed the 322 map on accident. Since the main quest from Stele Road broke we couldn’t do Fantasy Library yet either, since it’s a pre-requisite. We’ll start doing that as soon as possible.
I started off the day by carding to rank eight class level 10 (base level 300) and resetting my skill points to pick up the following skills in PD C2:
• Healing Factor Lv. 5
• Incineration Lv. 10
• Bloodletting Lv. 1
• Fumigate Lv. 1
• Pandemic Lv. 3
I decided to save the last five points of the job levels (achieved later at base level 314) for Disenchant. I also spent about 35’000’000 silver from the 80’000’000 saved to raise Black Death Steam to level 70 and purchase all of my utility attributes.
General PvE was easy until we started reaching the 315+ maps, at which I’d occasionally encounter a mob with absurd magic defense. A few (not many) mobs were able to reduce my Heal and Cure damage to one, and my BDS/Incineration damage to sub-1’000. Most mobs took at least 3’000 to 6’000 damage per tick on each however, elemental non-inclusive.
I spent all of my new stat points on intelligence, to help facilitate the higher magic defense on mobs. I felt comfortable with my current HP, however at times I still died very fast. One mob in particular in the 327 map destroyed me…
I’d say it’s capable of playing solo very well. I think it also stands extremely well next to the Bokor build due to the relevance of statues in high level play (silence saved me so many times today).
I only got to queue one PvP match, but I brutalized the enemy team two rounds in a row with BDS, Incineration, and Disenchant before the match crashed.
Very happy with how this is going so far. It’s not the very absolute strongest build but it seems to perform to my standards.
In a few days hopefully I’ll have a new 315 weapon, and will be able to see how my damage fairs with a proper endgame R8 weapon.
The guide will be updated sometime tonight or tomorrow.
Rank 8 build damage test so far.
@Veritas , Does the attribute from disenchant improve the chance of success by 10% or does it add to the debuff level of armour break?
Imo it should’ve been 20% per skilllevel, because the way it is now, Miko’s debuf removal with a 4x overheat on a 8 sec cd seems a lot juicier. What are your thoughts on this?
Looking forward to your guide update.
It adds to the debuff level of the Armor Break unfortunately. But it does give you another option to place a debuff on players with level one debuff resistance, rather than just Plague Vapors.
What do u think about this build for tbl? I like plague doc but , maybe this one is more offensive?
Looks similar to Freds build with the exception of Miko:
sigh My diev3 is collecting dust cus I want miko for rank 6 ;_;, seems pretty op.
