[Build] Saintone's Diev Doctor ○ Support & Offense ○ PvE & PvP (No longer updated.)

Virtov will remain relevant for now. The new Newt gear is literally Virtov gear with higher defenses but no set bonuses. Like, the bonus stats they give are exactly the same.

The only armor upgrades are Manahas if you need an extra line of damage, new swordsman bonus gear, and Lolopanther set which is available now.

nice match senpai :yum:

Nice vid and great timing with incinerate.
I’ve got to work on that

hello is the build still relevant for world boss after rank 8 is out?

what do u do for world boss at rank 8?
do u go rank 8 plague doctor 2?

What is your dps rotation for rank 8 world boss?

Is it ok to do world boss as a solo guy? if one is not in guild , using the build.

  1. If undergeared/underfunded, no. There are stronger burstier builds. Krivis + Daoshi is the cheapest build to utilize for world bosses since all of it’s power is concentrated in an R2 skill.
  2. I don’t follow.
  3. Yes.
  4. Probably Laima, Owls, Chortasmata, DM, Carnivory, Cure, Incineration, SP Potion, Heal, Heal, Plague Vapors, skills off cooldown, as necessary.
  5. Depends on your server. Some servers are dead, and the competition is low. Some are high, and it’s hard to stand a chance against the guy who can cast twice as many skills than you because of Chronomancer or something.

Is it worth pick cleric c3 for rank 6? Becoz cure hit like crazy… 10 points go to heal and divine might?
Coz i think its better than go pardoner… i dont do pvp at all btw

Hi with the super high power buff of the agni amulet
do u think that
c2 diev3 druid1 pd2 is viable for world boss , not only viable but may in fact dominate world boss again?
or c2 krivis3 druid pd taoist is a better choice albeit more expensive?
or c2 krivis druid2 taois

@ryanzeta - I don’t think the assets of Cleric C3 are worth it. Especially if you’re reasoning is for a stronger Cure.

@bruisedli - If it’s coming down to bosses, something that has Krivis Daoshi should always surpass something with Dievdirbys in terms of raw damage over time to a single target.

The build should be somewhat competitive enough to maybe secure a DPS slot, but that’ll come down to gearing, skill rotation, and party support.

yeah with the agni amulet buff
and the upcoming other amulet buffs in the event if there is a lightning buff
what is the different between c2 krivis3 druid2 taoist vs c2 krivis3 druid pd taoist vs c2 krivis3 pd2 taoist vs c2 krivis3 miko pd/druid taoist

Sorry , but currently everything seems to hinge on what other amulets/necklace ktos is going to buff.
Taoist seems pretty expensive to use, but generally if its dps is only used in world boss, it should be pretty acceptable.

Hi Santoine,

regarding miko and what that new class can offer, what do you think of this build in terms of pure PvE-Support (only groupplay, never soloplay):

c2 > diev3 > priest 1 > pd1 > miko instead of c2 > diev3 > priest 1 > pd2?

I could go for:
c2 > diev3 > miko > pd2 ofc, but than i would miss ressurection of priest.

  • Cleric C2 - Krivis C3 - Druid C2 - Taoist C1
This is pretty standard for a Taoist build with the added bonus of playing well with Druid C3 if you have any friends that go into that route, as you can use their Stone Henge to double your stats with a Druid C2 stored transformation. Added bonus of a pretty strong Carnivory, and Sterea Troph (this is notable since you don’t have too much mitigation otherwise, with the exception of Safety Zone and Shadow Walk).

  • Cleric C2 - Krivis C3 - Druid C1 - PD C1 - Taoist C1
Nothing wrong with it, just think it’s a little weaker than the first build and a bit spread thin. However, it has status immunity which might be appealing to you if you’re against using Dispeller Scroll. Also if you want to PvP with this kind of build, though I somewhat don’t find Krivis Taoist to be very strong in PvP.

  • Third build is not possible.

  • Cleric C2 - Krivis C3 - Miko/Kannushi C1 - PD C1/Druid C1 - Taoist C1
More supportive version of the second build. If it comes down to Plague Doctor C1 vs. Druid C1, PD is better and offers more. Druid C1 is mostly a niche pick (PvP and greedy for single-target damage).

@Nermal - I think it’s a little unusual to go FS with a build with lots of damage options as you’ve shown, but I suppose you mean a supportive DPS. I think Miko works well with Dievdirbys, as I believe you can extend Carve World Tree, though that might be corrected with time (unsure if intentional).

Personally I like the non-Priest variation the most, but then again for most intents and purposes it’s better to have Priest in the build for general support. I believe it comes down to who you play with overall that should determine the choice between the two. PD C2 plays best with those whom you can capitalize Pandemic’s large AoE with. But a single circle of Plague Doctor has pretty good assets too.

OT but what do you think of cleric2-Bokor2-Paddo-Miko-PD2 haha :stuck_out_tongue: is that now better than bokor3-pd2?

They accomplish different things. The Bokor C3 - Pardoner C1 - Plague Doctor C2 so many people are trying out is a solo build that doesn’t play well in parties compared to other builds, and also has a hard time against high magic defense elites.

Bokor C3 is also largely unnecessary if you don’t plan on playing with Damballa, as the Mackingdal duration increase is negligible for another circle and the Effigy multiplier bonus can also be considered too steep a price for a whole circle. You can however pick Bokor C3 if you want to save money on attributes, but I think that planning short term is dangerous for long term characters.

Cleric C2 - Bokor C2 - R5+6 - Plague Doctor C2 is core for the generic solo KR build. Pardoner is not necessary with the exception of Plague Vapors upkeep, as everything else has 100% uptime with ease. Those two circles are open for play. Pardoner C1 is only popular in Korea because it was a good pick with only seven circles open. It’s popular going into R8 because very, very, very few KR players are willing to re-do their build just for trying out some other option. It’s mostly a pigeon-holed popular pick. It’s still a good pick, but it’s not mandatory to complete the build going into R8.

This gives you some options to take various jobs with different assets that can determine what you can contribute to a party. Pardoner C1, Priest C1, Miko C1, so on and so forth. It really depends on what you want to be able to do for certain situations, beyond just solo play.

Which one better for full pve… i never do pvp
a. C2 diev3 pardoner PD2
B c2 diev3 druid 3
Thanks you for answer

@Veritas With the new skillset that Miko brings to the table; how would you say it would fit in the list of current suitable rank6 options?

Gohei seems nice with the debuf/buf removals and at this moment could partially replace Disenchant which gives more build options. At least it could give more variety.

The arrow could be useful as a pseudo carnivory.

Also with the oracle option; Is it worth mentioning that arcane power gives an infinite debuf on the target which makes using incinerate that much easier?

Yes, Miko C1 is better than Druid C1 for all intents and purposes for both damage and utility reasons. It’s worth giving up Telepath for all the thing it provides.

Yes Arcane Energy’s debuff is pretty good for Incineration purposes. Most notable on maybe bosses and players. Normal mobbing might be a little sketchy since you shouldn’t need more than one Incinerate to kill mobs anyways.

Where do you get Druid C1 > Miko C1 in damage?

Imo:
Hamaya almost has the same base dmg as carnivory, doesn’t have a hit limit, hits 3 times per second, longer uptime and faster cast (no need to cast chortasmata first).

The only thing that carnivory has is a bigger area of effect, which doesn’t outweigh the skillset of Miko.

Wasn’t it data mined that Hamaya does not scale off INT? Confirm deny?

Copied from Fervornacci on reddit:

Throw arrow skill [magic] - [holy] * Create circle on the ground, deals holy damage. Bonus damage to demons/devils (note: demon type is different from Dark element type!). Animation: hold a holy arrow with bells attached, and throw it. * Max 10 targets * Duration of 5seconds, plus (3* skill level seconds) * 3 Hits per second * No hit limit * Approx. 2x2 tile AoE circle * SP cost: 54, plus 7 per skill level * CD: 35s

Int isn’t factored in the skill formula, but just as with carnivory it is a magic attack and therefore benefits from int as well.
