Bokor Advice Mega Thread

Ah, that makes sense now. So it’s basically on the ally not to get killed, that makes grouping a lot more interesting!

That stat allocation is roughly what I have been doing at the moment.

Thanks for all your help!

I enjoyed this build has bokor c3 and Kabbalist, then what would be the final build, if I were to choose these two classes by last?

Just as a heads up, all of this advice wasn’t free. I’ll be using every single one of you in this thread for something in the future, but for right now, this is just a heads up. :^)

Final build would look like this:

Make sure to save Mackangdal until you or a teammate has low HP, and remember that you need to step into your Safety Zone to cancel the damage you take from it at the end.

As long as you don’t try to take my kidneys it’s all good!

I have no clue about c6 / 7 as all those other circles don’t look like they mesh well with bokor.

Sadhu looks cool but I heard something about them being nerfed or useless, not sure which of those.

I think I made a mistake, put 10 in hexing. I had already created a bokor, it is lv 99. Here is the build, at the exact moment. http://www.tosbase.com/tools/skill-simulator/build/a2gvalrx39/

I’m having a hard time remembering all these airheads in the random dungeon runs that they will die if they dont acompany me in the safety zone once mackangdal runs out

Plague Doc mixes well because it allows you to spread Hexing with Pandemic and because of being able to add up to 3 extra debuffs for Incineration.

Kabbalist mixes well from being able to refill your SP since Effigy is fat and greedy. Also petrifying targets with Merkabah, although I’m not really a fan of that skill since the Wheel doesn’t “auto-lock” onto their targets. Then Revenged 7X for buffing Zombies, but whether or not this is even effective in combat has yet to be tested; I’ll find out soon.

Yup, they got nerf’d, but they’re not ‘useless’ now. Just underpowered compared to Bokor

That’s fine:

Lol, I used it once and before the final boss battle I clearly said in party chat: “I’ll use Mackangdal when your HP gets low. When Mackangdal is about to run out, immediately run into my Safety Zone.”

So it happens, and I cast Mackangdal. 10 seconds later, everyone but 1 of them is still fighting and suddenly 2 of them die. At least I got to Res 2 people at once for the first time.

Plague Doc does look interesting.

What should I use for c6? As I find most C1 stuff at that range to be kinda bad. I like the look of Oracle, but it wouldn’t mesh well. And honestly I don’t understand all the skills.

can you review my build here?

now i run until bokor 1, im not krivis thing and enjoy hard time leveling when i was only cleric :joy:
why use only 10/15 skill point? i want to max effigy right ahead when i reach bokor 2
im not zombie apocalypse lover, so i take zombie as my wall meat at c2 and max mackangdal for pvp use…
why hexing 6? just got 1 point unused LOL

so far at bokor 1, i got hard time with sp use, im still full int no spr
and why the hell i still can pump out effigy when no mob got hex

The more I think about it, the more I wanna remake my Bokor now. Since Cleric2 and Pardoner are both good, I’m like “¿Por qué no los dos?” and drop Krivis entirely:

  • Aukuras, pretty bad.
  • Zalciai, adds 48 magic amp and 2s for Incinerate; maxed Discerning Evil adds 10s though.
  • Zaibas lv5, in my experience the damage is already falling off the more I level up.
  • Daino, the only one I feel it’s worth.

I had the same thought at my build. My only concern was the hard time leveling up at early game! In the end, think is up 2 you

Yea, that’s the only downside I could think of too, which isn’t a big deal at all. I’ve leveled like 3 cryos so I’m no stranger to hard early levels, lol.

Hi guys i’m looking for suggestion for my build.

[Cleric]
Should i max Cure instead of Safety Zone?
Should i get Deprotected Zone?

[Bokor]
Should i ignore Bokor C3 and get Krivis C1 instead?
If Bokor 3 is ok then is my skill point allocation fine? (I don’t like zombies)

[Druid & Plague Doctor]
Is my skill point allocation fine?

[Stat allocation]
Is it fine to do Con1:Int3:Spr1 until Con/Spr around 70 and the rest go to Int. (All extra points also go to Int)

Thanks.

For all bokors out there, YOU ARE USEFUL AS WELL!!!

omg I love that…
Can we make that image a sticky for clerics…

Oh man, didn’t catch this one before. My bad:

  • Cleric C1

  • This is fine.

  • Cleric C2

  • This is fine.

  • Bokor C1

  • You should have used the +1 point into Tet Mamak La and +3 points into Zombify while you were at C1, since you had the points to spare for it. I know you wanted to max Effigy immediately when you hit C2, but it doesn’t take long to hit Class Level 5 at R4. Since you’re most likely at C2 by now, it’s fine.

  • Bokor C2

  • This is fine.

  • Bokor C3

  • You should allocate 1 point away from Zombify for Ogouveve, so you can make use of the debuff Attribute it gives (For your Incineration).

  • Pardoner

  • This is fine.

  • Plague Doctor

  • If your intention is Arena PvP (2v2 / 5v5), then Bloodletting should be lowered to Lvl 1 as it has been nerf’d to this in KToS:

  • 15 seconds at Lvl 1 + 2 seconds per level. +20 seconds cooldown.

Those extra 2 points can be used for Beak Mask. I’d like to say for Healing Factor instead, but it was also hit, and it’s unclear if:

  • Duration now lasts a fixed duration of 27 seconds.

…is referring to any skill level of Healing being 27 seconds, or it being a maximum of 27 seconds.

The choice is yours. Krivis’ Zaibas is still useful into end-game if you’re applying INT and have an upgraded Rod (Ex: Ignition as main weapon, Krausas Mace as secondary for use with Effigy and swap them). The only notable thing you’re really getting out of Pardoner, although it’s really good, is Discerning.

Cleric C2, Krivis, Pardoner, neither of them are the ‘wrong’ choice since you’re not looking for one specific thing (I’m the only one here trying to use Priest C2 for DPS purposes), so pick whichever one you feel most at home with.

You got it.

  • Cleric C1

  • You should use all of your points for this Circle, instead of holding onto the 5 leftover until the next. In this case, place 4 points into Cure and 1 point into Deprotected Zone.

  • Cleric C2

  • You have too many points into Safety Zone, and thanks to the Attribute you unlock for it at C2 that allows you to get more blocks, I’d advise you reduce Safety Zone to level 5 and place 2 of those points into… okay now I’ve confused myself. Let’s just do it like this:
    Heal: 10 points | Cure: 8 points | Safety Zone: 5 points | Deprotected Zone: 1 point | Divine Might: 5 points | Fade: 1 point

  • Bokor C1/C2/C3

  • I see you don’t like Zombies. This point-skipping is confusing me today, so I’m going to explain the points in the skills and then just link to the revised build:

    • Zombify should be at 3, for unlocking the Wheelchair Zombie which can be used to spam Tet Mamak La (On Bosses), and… having a ride or die homeboy?
    • Mackangdal shouldn’t be past Lvl 1; this build is for PvE (At least I think it is). Those points are better-off spent elsewhere.
    • Bwa Kayiman should be at Lvl 1 (No higher, no lower), for knockdown-locking mobs repeatedly. It’s a great utility skill.
    • Samediveve should never be an even-number, because then you don’t get the full movement-speed buff from the half-effect. You COULD have it at Lvl 10, and then farm for a Samediveve Monster Gem, but those have a pretty low drop-rate. So otherwise, reduce Samediveve to Lvl 9.
    • Ogouveve should be at Lvl 1 (No higher, no lower), for the AoE debuff it gives (Incineration).
    • Hexing does not need to be that high; Lvl 10 at most. It’s a bit overkill, and you can use those points in other needed skills.
  • Druid

  • This is fine.

  • Plague Doctor

  • This is fine.

Do you know if Sterea Trofh can also block the damage? Kinda curious if C2 > B3 > D2 would be able to do something stupid like 100% invincibility uptime abusing Mackangdal’s damage getting eaten by SZ or ST

Yes it can block the damage. The Druid C2 skill was in C1 for cbt and I used it. It blocks all damage for the whole party and is actually very very useful. But they shifted it to C2 ):

[deleted post sorry]

First of all, this thread looks very active and helpful!! I’d like to ask everyone here if my build is ok, I’m starting to feel a little sad after going to Oracle for the costume. . Yes I only have myself to blame for deviating away from the Art of Black Magic T ~ T;; Any form of advice or comment will help!
