Best NOT default way to play ToS? (HUD devices)

Recently i find this video and got really hyped cause that way of playing could be very comfortable than default variants (mouse+keyboard\keyboard\joystick)!
I haven’t even through about that way of playing and decided to try that out.

Right now i collect a lot of info about controllers and stopped on most affordable variant - one-hand stick and keyboard. As a keyboard I will use standard keyboard. As a one-hand stick i choose ps3 navigation controller cause of button layout and comfortable PC connection (there should be a WII Nunchak, but i don’t like to waste money for adapter or adapt it to USB by Arduino).

But there is a lot of other variants like:

  • Special gaming keypads with custom layouts.
    ** Only as a keyboard for skills
    ** Or something like Nostromo n52te. It’s REALLY cool thing, possibilities are ENDLESS, but i don’t think that it’s comfortable.
  • Arcade Stick with\without buttons. Need a lot of free space to play, but top1 variant.
  • Flight stick. Too big…
  • VR Controllers for android\iOS\etc. I’m not sure about that. Poor capability with PC and not comfortable at all.

Maybe you have more comfortable and unique way to play ToS?

P.S. Gonna play Mage and hope that it won’t be too hard to cast spells etc (Ele has A LONG cast time, so no problems).

MMO for me is eternal keyboard + mouse, Joy just for console/fighting games.

Keyboard only with dozens of custom shortcuts, where only me can understand and play in a logical manner. :vulcan:

I always used keyboard+mouse last time. Im thinking of using a controller for swordsman class this time since it felt uncomfortable with keyboard+mouse. (I know I could use only keyboard too, but I hate arrow keys). My brain likes WASD

Orbweaver < Nostromo
Quality of Orbweaver is really poor, layout isn’t good too. Price is too high and not worth at all.

About other gamer keyboard+mouse cant say anything, but i think that gamer devices are not worth their price. You pay half price for label, quarter for design and other for parts. Thats not applies to PC itself, only for accessories.

i think i’ll use an XBONE controller tho i really like the joy+keyboard combo :smile:

Well for me both would be the same, but more comfortable is controller for me, i can play more without hurting my hands lol.

I’ll try with steam controller. But when things get serious. I will get my keyboard + mouse and do a mad face.

iCBT2 I used a ps3 controller emuled as a xbox one… had no problems at all and even the vibrantion was working. You can try this with motion joy
