@MrNova This is the correct response in this thread (your post). Although the grammar of “mass of guilds” or “mass invite guild” would be ideal to find out what the poster is tstating.
Mass guilds are only as good as their Leaders and tools are. Proper utilization of a VOIP is great for the members that actually care about the guild and wish for it to thrive.
A mass guild is something much more along the lines of a hub. You have all the members and then you have the one’s that actually do something. Almost just like a forum on a website, there are the lurkers and the contributing members. In the end, everyone is treated equally, but the contributing members will get so much more out of the experience because they actually contribute.
I don’t think it is in anyway acceptable to put down any guilds at the moment. We don’t know how anything is going to turn out, nor who is going to stick with the game. Some people do join mass guilds for the wrong reasons, but others do it for the same reasons as anyone else, and in the end if you are an active member that puts time and effort into the guild then you’ll be rewarded with a pleasant community. Just like a what some look for in “small” guilds.
I know that… mean they did talk about forming guilds before cbt announce…way way before…
