Are Falconers/Hunters weak/worth it?

Do yourself a favor and never ever look at tosbase again. Most builds are ■■■■ to begin with and all others are outdated.
Also skill data is outdated, the whole tosbase is outdated. Use this one:

This is good for leveling. Just Full Dex and some Con if you think you need it.

If you have time level this build and with class reset you could go for Hunter then:

Not sure about the Hunter part, the rest should be good for soloing easy maps. If you take out Fletcher and go for Scout you might be able to sneak through the high matk maps at least but lose some dmg utility then.

Oh, ok. I didn’t realize it sucked now.
I’d use that one but I don’t really know what to do…I’d rather have suggestions like the other site has, if that makes sense…

It’s up. Just don’t read anything on tosbase. Almost every “guide” there is a guide how to dumpster your character.

Fletcher 1…? Ew.

I ask you something. You said you want to play falconer. You mean you will play FalconerC1 or FalconerC3?

2 of this build total different.

Let’s talk about Hunter 3 and its utility in pve.

Oh is Hunter 3 that strong? I thought it’s pretty good only in pvp. But no idea after update/rebalance

I do agree that Hunter 1 and 2 are more pvp biased but Hunters learn a great tool for mob control at C3: Growling.

The way of thinking I like when it comes to Hunters is the following: The stronger and the more the mobs pose a threat to you, the stronger a Hunter becomes, thanks to all the disable they get.

I recorded this video back when I played in Orsha and that’s how Growling is like:

Well if you can confirm. I drop my word then.

I think I’ve saw insane dmg of hunter3+falconer3 before. it’s about aiming+circling with full attribute+hunter skill combo with insane dmg.

You must be possibly talking about Snatching with a bow, the skill is a flying mob slayer and the bleeding ticks are insane when properly geared and attributed.

There’s also the Pet equip system which has not yet come to iToS that when properly equipped, the pet does an insane amount of damage with Rush Dog…like 20.000+ damage in a 5CD skill.

Bad News: 20k is nothing.

Do not compare the output of a utility class to a DPS ‘press 1 button to win’ one, like SR.

I found this btw:

Then don’t call it insane damage. People might believe that you can carry parties with it.

20k damage for a Rank 3 skills, it’s pretty sick actually.

People might believe that you can carry parties with it.

That’s their fault, not mine. I also never said that they carry things, but HunterFalconers do babysit DPSes

I actually didn’t want to discuss this but it’s not their fault if you straight up lie. You should take this into consideration.

If you consider an opinion a lie, suit yourself.

Numbers have nothing to do with opinions. 20k/5 = 4k dps against single targets is simply nothing to be worth considered in an environment where you need to fight monster packs of 400k+ HP. I’m out here.

Hi guys, sorry if I interrupt the discussion. I wanna know if you have any recommendation as in what equipment is best to increase rush dog damage, in the term of getting as low cost as possible. Thank you!

Rush Dog scales with your Pet’s attack. The best way to ‘equip’ yourself on iToS at low cost is leveling your pet to 300+ :stuck_out_tongue:

Hahah pet can equip up to 2 weapons can’t they? What I mean is those stuffs… And is it commendable to main Rushdog as a damage source?
