Archer Re-balance Topic

Hi guys use this topic to make all question your have about KToS balance patch changes.

I would like the help of everyone to make a list of skill that now get increased ATK SKILL SPEED with increase DEX.

Also i would like to know all the major changes to the skill to stick all there for a better knowledge for everyone.

(Example: Now Running shoot increase ATK speed only of 10% (if i’m right)?

So i think to those questions:

How is changed Steady aim?

How is changed Swiftstep Critical attribute?

i have ranger c1 in my build + rogue, how does scale barrage lvl 5 now?

How does it work now Sneak hit?

Does crossfire get better ATK speed with deX?

Crossfire is one of the worst skill scaling in the entire archer three. How do it is now?

There is any changer on sapper does sapper decrease trap set-up time with dex?

How is now broom trap dmg? how does it scale?

I’m sure i have ALOT more question but they are the most urgent.

Also total wanto to know how is NOW MERGEN?

Fixed AAR issue problem?=

Still falconer circling can resist or now the debuff have a fixed % of succes?

My question are really many post your too here and try gather most info possibile and stick them there.

I can’t understand from description if Swift step attribute is different now?

Also there i something where i can see all skill that get speed up by dex?

Also see all buff changes like running shoot?

For now what I can tell you is that Swift Step evasion bonus is no longer a %. This also goes for its Crit bonus. They are both now flat increases. What this means in terms of actual bonuses to stats, I don’t know (More info is required).

Remember this is still the first patch.

As for dex value = att speed, I’m not sure. Just keep your eyes on the KTOS post for now.

So now Swift Step attribute, instead of provide crit RATE provide raw % of cri chance?

if so is amazing even if MS got nerfed badly.

I’ve Seen sneak hit now is just 40% for lvl 5.

It still need to be behind monster to work?

If still need be behind monster what is the reason behind nerf? something is changed in skill working?

I want to mention, no more evasion on boots, and equips/levels seem to be the only way to get crit. What this means is that skills that do increase/decrease these values are much stronger than they are in our version.

Evasion can now only be got from stats and skills.
Crit can now only be got from skills, equips, levels.

Will cri-rate increase based on character lv. ?

and will it increase more on archer classes ?

All I want to know is how does Musketeer machine gun builds fare during the overhaul?

I just hope that c3 of each class gained much more advantage than lower circle instead of current system where ranger 1 for barrage+steady aim and sapper 2 for broom trap.

Maxing a dps skill is pretty significant right now, broom trap for example is 362% lv5 and 462% lv10. Sapper3 broom trap also has 50% more chance to do critical hits (the old atribute damage from c3 changed to that)

@everyone dex stat is now obsolete, evasion, attack speed is hardly noticable, it’s better off investing most of thoe points into str because you get more out of it. we all saw the dex nerf coming though :stuck_out_tongue:

not to mention the crit damage is a measly 0.5% per stat…

the new frenzy buff is potent though so i’m looking forward to having 3rd circle barbarians on my team.

i hate having to use both running shot and kneeling shot to attack fast enough :sob:

I’ve been using both skills to atk fast already.

That’s sad though…DEX generally is a thieves/archer’s stat. So what happens if you go full STR and what happens if you go full DEX? I’m guessing it’s all gear dependent now? Machine gun Musketeer builds won’t exist anymore I’m guessing?

Let’s say you wanna go full dex archer.
what can you get out of full dex ?

Atk-dmg ? while you cant even deal cri-dmg due to lack of cri-chance rate.

this is wot pure dex archer gonna look like…
you shoot too fast,but the dmg is super low. which makes archer classes even more useless than ever.

Aren’t this the reason why they balance in the first place? so you don’t put too much only one stat.

If you are heavily go in one stat, then you need to figure out how to balance it.

if you go full str you gain free damage and accuracy

if you go full dex you only shoot a little faster but miss often

so yeah you shouldn’t bother with dex but hey it’s just the beginning so things might change.

ironically it’s more beneficial for the “machine gun build” to go full str rather than full dex just like koppy said you don’t do any damage at all.

hm…saddening. Not sure what to do with for Musketeer build now…Though for sure I still want Falconeer with it.

EDIT: I still haven’t seen any Archer class-based kToS vids on the changes. Only melee classes.
