Even if those don’t hit flying, what OP is trying to say that as a Cleric (all circles) is a PITA to level since their ONLY attack skills are Heal and cure, which don’t hit flying monsters. Pyro’s flame ground don’t hit flying monsters, but they have other ways in doing so.

Op chose support int cleric, and he has to deal with it since it was his choice. Not all routes are easy (I know from experience since I got my first flying attacking skill at C4).

As a Support/Heal Cleric I find this rather difficult to digest.

Yes, flying monsters are an extreme pain to fight against as a Cleric but it could always be worse. You could only have physical attacks to kill them.

Because of the customization in this game and MANY builds and Stat distributions are possible, there is really little room for argument if you are having issues against something when your current build does not offer (or in this case offers your solution rather late in your character development) a way to handle your issue.

Being my fourth revision of my Cleric build I’ve picked up a few points in STR to help with melee damage. I’ve changed my Ranks around a bit to pick up classes early (Krivis) to have more options. Sometimes even having 1 point to a skill is better than having none.

Deprotect can go a long way in being able to kill flyers. Give yourself Zalciai for improved critical chance. Far enough in your Ranks that you may have Priest? Blessing can be a blessing for even more damage against flyers.

Do I two-shot flyers this way? No. But doing this method has helped me HEAPS against them and kill them quicker than just melee attacks alone.

Again, too many build options and stat options will make you better for some situations and worse for others. Not much else to say for that.

I’m playing sapper+rogue and I fcking hate airborne, my aoe and single target damages are amazing, but when it comes to flying types,I have to use aa or use claymore once every 30 sec… not many archer based classes have that problem but I do, in exchange I have almost no mana problem, can solo grind quite efficently, can do a lot of damage to bosses.

This whole thread is insulting to Clerics and is probably made by someone that doesn’t actually play Cleric.

Base damage on weapons alone does more damage than 80 at 80+ and quite a few do more than 80 before 80 if enhanced. It’s really not that hard. Oh well you can’t 1 shot flying enemies on a tile. Boo hoo.
By 80+, you have run out of circles of Cleric to roll and any other available option will be adding DPS.

A cleric that wasn’t garbage would be taking advantage of what is available to them, aka Deprotection Zone, Upgrading their weapon to +5, making sure that weapon is level appropriate, and keeping a sword on standby for flying enemies weaker to swords.

might as well increase damage of all wizard-ele spells since I play those and I feel that they’re lacking cause I can’t one hit monsters.
