About the wrongly banned people

My Team Name is Foxie and I’m a veteran player at Silute. I’ve been playing Tree of Savior since the beta and have fell in love with the game by then. In Silute I’m known for my costumes and looks and more recently for having a fansite/blog about Tree of Savior (taltit.com).

I interact a lot with the community and since being banned have received a lot messages of people in the same situation. That’s why I decided to write this post about it.

I always positioned myself against RMT. In fact in my blog, I have a post explaining why it’s wrong to do RMT, talking about IMC new politics and reinforcing my position. During the problem with the market and the illegal silver I haven’t used the market, I didn’t sell anything, I didn’t have anything listed on the market and have no relation with the people responsible for it. Yet I’ve been banned.

Since then I’ve sent two tickets do IMC but only got automatic responses saying that I’ve violated the EULA and have been permanently banned for it.

I’ve always defended IMC and were always a loyal player to the company. Moreover, I’ve played this game and invested my time and money on it like many others. The players have the right to know the real reasons why they were banned, especially when it could be an innocent who is having his account suspended. There have been many players calling for the Staff attention and they deserve to have theirs claims answered. IMC has all the right to ban and suspend accounts but it should be done in a fair way, which the people who suffer the restrictions can argument if their ban was corrected. It’s not nice that we’ve been in the dark not knowing what has happened and will happen.

More than being unbanned, I’m asking to have a fair process and for the having the right to defend myself and have my case reviewed.

The worst thing imc did, was the manual rollback, many people have explored and used the silver due with bshard and passive and have not lost anything. while people who had fair money were banned or lost half the money.
this is wrong on the part of IMC, and lack of professionalism of the STAFFS, because we know that was delayed in their programming, but still, they deceived us, and did it as fast and as possible to finish the process and leave. result? of 3 thousand people daily online, past 1200, and if imc does not run behind, the game will fall apart, please STAFFS, review this case and properly to others, or you will lose your job due to bankruptcy of the game. I feel the same, IMC should atleast give us reasons for our bans, give everyone a fair chance of defending their cases instead of giving the same automatic response to every ticket, the way you are handling this is not fair to those who spent their time and money playing this game.

Myself and at the very least 2 guildmates are in the same boat… at least they still havent told me am perma banned…

Hopefully IMC does something… am currently trying to help in the wiki/db thats in the works (which looks very nice so far)…

The same happened with me but I dont have solid information for what I got banned, all that i have is a gerenic answer talking about perma ban and eula.
If IMC look at my steamcard purchases obviously you may know that I dont need rmt to buy my itens.
I dont have a crystal ball to detect if the silver offered or items are coming from hack or not,
I know my conduct and i never used illegal programs and i dont abused the market.
Please GMs review my situation, foxie and anothers that is happening it.
We are not to blame for the attack that occurred, IMC need hunt down the real destroyers of the server

Same problem here and imc dont response…

I had no idea what was happening in cough and when they told me as soon as I got home from work, everything in the market was already sold, I could not do anything

Sure, mi team name is KriLanze server Silute, although am not “officially” banned yet, but i have been waiting days for the resolution of mi case…

The other one is minun that already beat me to it… and the last one is Cat-ion same server silute…

I know theres other ppl with the same problem so i will go around leaving the link of this post so we can make a bigger list :smiley:

I don’t want to sound preposterous, but you’re not the first - and, sadly, likely not the last - actually active player in an almost dead game to have been banned as a mistake. And, don’t get me wrong, by no means I won’t support your cause.

In fact, I agree with you in many ways, and it grieves me deeply that honest, actual players from this steadily-decaying community such as you are being wrongfully punished by miscalculations and poorly-made judgments - whereas others, such as many a player in Silute itself, who actually exploited it and continues to exploit so the flaws in this game still play among us, crashing channels, dubiously marketing objects and manipulating prices in our markets.

Players like you, that struggle to bring more people to this community and keep the game actually alive by making it interesting (which IMC quite frequently fails to do so, which saddens us all), are the heart and core of this community. This, among with other situations such as the very same, is a strike directly to the vitals of the game. IMC definitely needs to review some cases, because everybody makes mistakes, and although there’s nothing wrong in that, it is wrong to not admit and do something about it. IMC is not flawless. They have to see it.

And, if by any chances your ban and everybody else’s was rightful enough, it would be no less than sensible to actually show proof and reason of it, rather than definitely automated or copypasted messages.

I came back to this game, even brought some friends, to try and give a second chance to it. And it’s with despair that I say that I might have taken the wrong decision.

So please, IMC, hear this one’s plea, see to it that they have their reasons given, be it privately or in public. If none are to be found, there is no shame in going back and fixing what you’ve done wrong.

As a Silute player, wish you the best regards and good luck to us all in this Russian roulette.

I do not know Foxie, but I know some people who commented and I know they’ve done RMT. This is a reason to be banned.

Tree of Savior Terms of Service

"You need to report any game errors, bugs and other game play issues to IMC Games. You shall not abuse them for your own benefits nor to cause grievances to others, and pass this information to others who may abuse them for their benefits.

You shall not abuse or exploit abnormal AI, items or quests to obtain illicit gains.
You shall not engage in selling or buying the following via real life monetary transaction: accounts, in-game items, in-game currency or other materials deemed inappropriate by IMC Games.

IMC Games reserves the right to close, temporarily or permanently, any user’s account without advance notice as we deem necessary. Furthermore, we reserve the right to delete all user accounts or inventory of characters as warranted."

I do not know if the IMC’s decisions so far have been fair, but we have to remember that everyone accepted the terms before they started playing.

Ok, if you know they done RMT, why didnt you reported them before if you clearly have evidence???
Regarding the term of service and EULA you not reporting them when you know they are doing RMT is in clear violation of them, hence you can be punished for not saying anything, so be careful with those statements…

Also, most of us that are either blocked or banned at the very least want to know why, and we want a fair chance to prove that we didnt do anything wrong…

Basically this is a witch hunt where if any1 bought or sold anything in the market to a hacker users, is banned… period…

My account is ok, i came here to support you guys.

Of course theres some legit bans, but i hope IMC understands that someone from staff made a HUGE mistake in most cases, making even who aint got banned leave the game…
