Uh, does it visibly show you that you overleveled your attribute? Because I’m unsure if I ever did it, I just spammed attributes after the token update to max laughs.

Wow this issue just starting to become popular today? I read about this issue days or a week or two ago in forums (official and reddit)…
I hope they won’t. It’s not honest players that are being punished; it is people who thought they could cheat to get ahead of others.
To be honest I don’t know if I over leveled any of mine or not. I guess I’ll find out. I haven’t done a great deal of research on the game other than seeing what classes seem to be working decently.
I assumed there was a level cap on the attributes but don’t know what it is.
now i know why my priest attributes were going 1 lv higher than my kToS version, lol
but i don’t think it’s fair to punish the players because of that .-.
i mean, leveling without a time period was a feature that allowed we to insta-max an alt-character attribute
i passed some talts-goldbars-stuff to my alt and leveled the attributes all lvs at once, it’s not my fault the feature was bugged D:
well, supose you have a new character with 500k~1M to spend on attributes, what would you do? ._.’
i thought it was something related to cleric-tree, because my main character’s attribute levels were on the right level
it takes a bit of extra effort to overlevel attributes, this is not something you do by an accident at all

dude, i simply clicked on all attributes and then confirmed all at once, it’s the opposite of “extra effort”
extra effort would be leveling one at a time .-.
Well they did said they would apply restrictions on people who constantly abused this so I would expect people who have 1-2 attributes overleveled will not suffer, only those cases were they were obviously abusing, like all attributes overleveled
Am i the only person who thinks people who abused this shouldnt be punished??
Sorry IMC but given your reputation as of late i doubt anyone thought you’d be so quick in your response to fix this.
I’m sure most of the people who abused this didnt do it with mal intent but rather felt that if they didnt conform now that in a few~ months time that their characters would be obsolete compared to newer characters who abused this bug.
From a competitive standpoint this sort of abuse would almost be necessary if not for your prompt response.
As I said your reputation atm is not the best, especially with the lack of attention you’ve shown to other important issues. I’d thread lightly with this one.

Obviously you haven’t been gaming very long. There’s a very fine line between bannable bugs and acceptable bugs as well as the reciprocation of using such bugs. Without clear representation of whats acceptable and not, its hard for players to tell whether this will be the new meta or get them banned.
I’m not defending their actions but lets assume that this issue didnt explode in the way it did. It could be several months before this got fixed. During that time a competitive player would not be able to compete.
Its a damned if i do, damned if i dont. If I do i might get banned but if I dont i wont make top 6 DPS for that boss cube.
And honestly IMC hasnt been swift in their responses from what i’ve seen. Personally I’m quite surprised its being addressed so quickly.
And when i said with mal intent, i meant more so they weren’t trying to cheat so much as stay in the meta.

Wow I wasted so much silver, wondering what I was increasing with leather armor mastery and provoke… X_X So this was a bug, and I blew silver for nothing? lol.
Lmao if you needed this to be able to get top 6 dps… u bad. The most important thing to get your party’s dps into the top 6 is your party composition+the strategy you use.

Didnt realise it could be abused in such a fashion. I’ve overlvled a few skills as i’m inclined to double click and due to the other topic, I was thinking it was a max of 1 point over the limit.
Inlight of this i change my opinion.
If thats what they meant by “applying restrictions to players found to have repeatedly abused this method…” then I think thats fair.
When i said that I was under the impression of people remaking characters for lvl6 Quick Cast: Additional DMG not people over lvling attributes by 50~ points.
