“Synching” lvls would mean you’d need to “synch” your characters
rank choices + skills + gears too.
**Just think about it, a character “synched” to party with lvl 30, He has a mount, and Dragoon skills, easy grinding with low lvl alts gg.
While it’s true the level gap will be huge, there isn’t really much to be done.
Your best option, if you really want to be in par with your friends, make a new character.

On another note, im under the opinion that this game WONT suffer greatly.
Ofcourse there are people only living for endgame, 100% pvp life, nothing else, however those people usually just pushing to endgame are also those who will sooner or later cry for “more content/endgame sucks, lacks content” Very common in mmo’s.
This game is so huge, in my opinion, most of the game is about the adventure, the ROAD TO the endgame. For me it doesn’t make sense to skip “half or more of the game”.
And i repeat, IF the day comes where the cap is 600, and you soon you get a get a new friend to join ToS, just make a new character.
Something i could think of right now:
At best, maybe IMC could start somekind of campaign, where new players can start a “Guided Adventure” with a “Veteran Knight” for up to lvl 200-300
With discussable Rewards.
Let’s say a “VK” agrees to help a “newbie” all the way from lvl 1 to 200, once its done, an NPC will reward the “VK” with some sort of token.
Collected tokens could be exchanged for various items, maybe even an Exclusive costume, or companion if collecting enough tokens!
–Veteran Knight-- level 450+
I don’t know, do some quest, where you submit to guide “New Adventurers”
–New Adventurer–level1-200(“vk’s” shouldnt be able to leech you all the way)
Check a board for players that submit themselves to help new players.
“VK’s” could kill mobs for the newbies at 50% xp penalty, or something.
(ofcourse mobs has to be within the “newbies” lvl range)
a high lvl would clear mobs fast enough anyway, so the xp panlty would probably barely be noticed.
